You can also make your own alpha masks to hide your feet. This can be handy, if the boots are modify so you can get rid of annoying invisiprims. You can get a free pack of feet alphas at the Forum Cartel Hangout. I think both alpha layers and textures are included. The Marketplace has a set for 10L too, and you get some other interesting alpha layer textures there too. You make your own alpha layer by going into appearance mode, then edit your outfit and create new alpha. Then you drop the alpha texture you want in the box for the body part you will modify, like lower body, and save. I use to "save as" and name it for the footwear I will use it with, and put it in the same folder. It is really easy.

My signature shows the frustration over how many creators that sell no modify items with resizers, be it hair, clothes or shoes. Resizers should be a help for your customers, and the items should be left modify. My picture shows me in a "Tam O' Shanter" hat that is no mod with resizer. It looks great until it's SL night, then some of the badges start to shine because the creator thought it was a good idea to set them to full bright. I hate and loathe full bright hair, jewlery and clothes. If it was modifiable, I could change that with a click. If it's scripted and I want to kill the scripts, I just hope that the menu has a delete option, or I am screwed. And then it's all the hassle when I have to make a copy of all prim parts and put it in a backup folder before I can delete the scripts.

I am only a customer in SL, and I find that this RZ and CDS is really ruining my fun. It appears that RZ is gone... or is it just a temporary ban until they find a way to put it back? Not to mention CDS, some of the shops where I spent a lot of money has been using CDS all of the time. It makes me really sad, I don't know if I shall just ignore it and keep media turned off. If I shall buy only in "clean" stores, I would not buy much. Who knows what else that's "security" or "Alt detectors" that we haven't heard about yet. In my search for new small shops, I find that they run sneaky security devices too. Or maybe it's the mall owners that has them. The sad thing is that copybotters can avoid the "security" just by disabeling media and don't accept cookies. Those who want can still copybot, while customers that come to your shop to spend money is stored in a database without consent. The key word here is "consent". I respect that ppl want security devices, all I ask for is a blue pop-up that informes me before I am scanned. It is security cameras all over in RL, but you have to inform people about it. It does not reduce sales in RL, and I am sure it would not reduce sales in SL. Just be open about it, okay? Don't keep it hidden, that is what irks me.

Forgot to add that I love sculpts. And it's really loading fast on my computers, even if I can't afford a "gamer" machine. Attached sculpts seem to load faster. Megaprim sculpts used in landscaping is the #1 thing that load slow for me.

Insaniac, I think the lag is caused by scripts in the stuff people are wearing. It is so hard to find modifiable clothes these days, no matter if they are prims or sculpts. A resizer don't make the things modifiable, only resizeable. I bet that 99 of 100 avatars don't delete the scripts in their clothes/hair/boots/jewlery after they adjusted it. And why should they do it, because then they can never resize it again if they decide to change shape? The alternative is to take a copy of every single part, create a new folder and name it backup copy and honestly... that's too much work for your average avatar. Then they walk around and complain about lag. Honey,,.. YOU are the lag. I am so grateful for all who sell modifiable things, they save me all that work about making backup copies. This outfit has modifieable hair from Truth, modifiable jacket from Mr.Poet, unscripted earrings, a single low lag script in the prim nails to lock the hands, and boots where I deleted the scripts. I also use an AO that don't use a lot of script memory and stopped to use Mystitool, since that is really packed with scripts. Oops, my lashes look like I had a mascara accident. :smileywink:
