  1. As much as I love the Physics HUD (and hate the baroque wheel-shaped abomination that is Aeros) I find myself returning to Xerxes and Magnus for the looks. Also, the base skins and tinting options on Aeros products got me a faster, better skintone match. That was the one part of the HUD where Aeros excelled. If the P had base tones covering a wider range of warm - cool, I'd like it more.
  2. If by hours you mean minutes... lol. A big part of the "I don't IM first" thing, I think, comes from having to play defense against these kind of advances. Sadly, as a result I find myself less inclined to chat people up both as a receiver and sender of friendly IMs. I have to be careful not to let that attitude calcify because I'm probably missing out on actual good conversations, but getting shouted at for leading someone on (their words) takes its toll.
  3. Interesting you would mention that because I feel that participants in large, active SL groups are a type of influencer. I think Lelutka has left a void in-world by removing their chat and your friend not hearing about free head could be related to that. Large group chats can have 25k, 50k, even 80k members and the preferences and interests of the most active members and CSRs definitely has a ripple effect. If one of my products is mentioned in a group like that you can bet it's going to spike in sales.
  4. When you meet someone and they introduce you to their alt after like 10 minutes. Like "Hey do you like sailing?" "Sure I love getting out on the water." "OK one sec lemme get my alt he owns all my boats". This is up there with saying "I"m not really interested I'm looking for X." "Well hold on! I got X right here babe, let me find a phone booth." I'm not even a stickler for immersion but when I meet someone at a club that's who I want to interact with, for better or worse.
  5. BTW when you export your shape it also includes settings for the eyebrow shaper (aka system hair). So, you can create a system hair and import those settings in the same way, from the same file. I make shapes for my store on my main because she has all the bodies and heads so this is a real time saver.
  6. Peeve: When a brand includes their name on every item in a folder except the HUD. Related peeve: brands that don't call their HUD a HUD. Oh but this isn't a hud. It's an Editron 2.0.
  7. Trish Summers, never heard of her. Seems like a fine name. Searched on Google and got a bunch of random people with the same name. In fact I couldn't find anything related to an adult film star by that name. So my guess, a couple porn obsessed losers made a point of making this comment to you? Chances are people like that would find a way to make unwelcome comments no matter what name you chose. And there's always free display names.
  8. Immensely narcissistic focus on yourself is probably the #1 activity in SL.
  9. I'm surprised nobody has developed a brand with reliably layerable clothes.. LIke, our line of jackets always matches our jeans, our tops fit under the jackets etc. Anyway, million L$ idea if someone wants to get on that. Call it Capsule. That's a freebie to get you started
  10. How's the shoe compatibility? I always thought the shoe compatibility played a huge role in Kupra's initial success. It sold me anyway. All my heels fit right away and then eventually enough Kupra-specific stuff came out I could switch to the one piece body.
  11. I think fans of proportional shapes will appreciate the amount of arm length on tap. The lower legs scale some with the muscle slider, that's a big plus. Higher body fat shapes still need a belly deformer if you don't want a misshapen stomach. And so a thicc shape ends up looking very similar to legacy in profile, with the nipped in bit at the navel. There is something about the hip /waist/ leg ratio of legacy that doesn't look right to me. I think it's the placement of the kneecaps. Maybe that's just me, but this looks more "right" to me. It has potential for the kind of shape I want but I just put so much L$ into kupra. If I end up with a bunch of ebody clothes in my regular course of shopping I might be tempted. 3500 is cheap now eh? I get it! But a promo price of 2500 would have been a bit more tempting.
  12. I make more negative notes than positive. Every time someone makes a dumb joke response to a question in a support group, I put an X. If I open a profile and it already has an X, I mute them. Perfect example of how my main avatar is not really as easygoing as her profile advertises, lol
  13. Yep. I even bought one at 25k. Around that time I also bought a pair of parcels side by side on the "inner waterfront" of Horizons, where you can set sail around the Horizons game sims themselves. I loved that land at that price, but tbh it was too tempting when the value of them doubled+ and I was like, OK I can buy a guitar with this.. lol. Anyway, at 25-50k/ parcel Horizons was a much more attractive place to live. There is that land group that has held some of the most prime plots on a large number of Horizons sims since their release. They haven't built anything or even rented that I can see. It's odd, and a bit of a waste. Also, while we're at it , please release a bunch of double prim snow land.
  14. I love Linux, used it constantly for 20 years, but it's always hilarious to me when someone is like "I don't need the hassle of Linux" and Linux people are like oh just do these 11 arcane things and it works GREAT. What's your driver version? OH you need 0123534527.8 not 012354526.0.1... Point taken
  15. People who make a big deal about being "picky" in their profiles. Does that work? Oh dang, she's picky, better not send my inane go-nowhere pickup attempt! Cmon. Just silently judge like the rest of us.
  16. You need to shop for clothes for Kupra. Your issue isn't that it doesn't have a hud, it's that youre trying to squeeze those curves into clothes that weren't made for it. This might work to some degre with other bodies but Kupra's butt and breasts are so far from other riggings. You may find you need the occasional alpha with Kupra-specific clothes, but I agree with Stephanie.. a lot of well made clothes out there now, and many of them come with alphas. Demo some new clothes. I don't use an alpha hud at all myself.
  17. Wouldn't it be nice if a couple three brands got together and developed a universal pant / boot thing akin to what we have with the SL neck? Oh wait, brands can't even bothered to match their own stuff with any regularity. Come on!
  18. By dashboard, you mean the website? Because If I hide my alt's online status from myself in world, they no longer show on my web dashboard.
  19. SIdeways photos. Actually my true peeve is with the flickr "banner" or whatever you call it. An utterly ill-conceived image format for a website dedicated to showing off photographs. Nevertheless, chasing featured group banners by tilting all your photos sideways is dumb. Sorry!
  20. Knock knock who's there I don't know I don't know who? I don't know because my doorbell runs on AWS
  21. They aren't rules but pouncing on my IM the second I log on is definitely something that doesn't work for me. On the other hand, people who only say hello when you're in the same physical space inworld also strike me as strange. Like, we don't need to be "friends" to chit chat every weekend at the club. Ultimately my filter for friendships comes down to one thing: respect of each others time. When I meet someone and straight away they expect every moment, every time I log on to be all about THEM... that's not for me. There has to be a balance. Also I spend a lot of time "half inworld" so I'm bound to get close other people who do the same, and enjoy that thread of conversation between in-world activities. Then when you DO meet up you know each other better and it grows from there.
  22. Pleasantly surprised there is a boxed MOD version of the body included.
