  1. In addition to the stores mentioned above, the latest Magika hair have been rigged for men. Truly a godsend for those who like longer hair on male avatars. Unfortunately, there just aren't many stores that make regular masculine hairstyles. Vango has some as well, but they are a bit older. A lot of guys just wear a hairbase and call it a day. Might not be for everyone, but some female styles look pretty good on male avatars, especially shorter unrigged ones like bobs. Never hurts to try a demo.
  2. I apologise for potentially offending anyone (non-native English speaker here, so it's not my intention), but this whole issue just seems like a very American thing to me. The fact that a few posters even said that it feels wrong for a white person to wear black skins but not vice versa is just mind-boggling to me. Apparently, "your world, your imagination" has some arbitrary limits. And yes, I might not "get" it, but so do a lot of other people from around the world who just wear whatever avatars they like. My avatars are like abstract personas to me, they can be different ethnicity or even species. I rarely associate with them, the closest comparison would be the Sims characters or just dolls. But I understand that everyone treats Second Life differently.
  3. Is it new though? Even Nuve dropped Catwa support, saying it wasn't profitable enough. I've found that most of that content is older stuff (not that there is anything wrong with it) and it still can't be compared to the amount of products for EvoX. If someone buys one of these heads and then checks the popular events and weekend sales, they are going to be rightfully disappointed. Luckily the heads are SLUV compatible, so at least there is a lot of old bom stuff that could potentially fit, but would a regular user bother with it? Probably not.
  4. I wonder how many people are actually buying these, considering there is little to no content for HDPRO heads. The lips on some of the heads really remind me of Catya, and while it's a personal preference, for some reason it really bugs me that the eyes on the vendors are very wide set.
  5. I have both, and Analexa has basically the same shape as Ariadna, but with more options (like petite and flat chest and mid feet). So I would say that Ariadna was more like a demo version of the body. They both fit Maitreya clothes moderately well, but these bodies are noticeably smaller from the waist down, so the clothing often hovers over them. The hands are also different from Maitreya ones, so very long sleeves or accessories won't fit at all. I still like Analexa, and wear it as the main body on this account, but Lucybody is definitely better in terms of Maitreya compatibility.
  6. Both Catwa and Slink did it to themselves, it's how free market works. And that's coming from someone who still likes Catwa's Queen and MajerSoft heads and was hesitant to move on from Slink bodies years ago. If anything, nowadays there is so much more freedom than before the pandemic, when it was either appliers for Catwa and Maitreya or almost nothing at all.
  7. This is probably the most customizable male body I've ever tried. It has two versions, but as far as I'm aware the only difference is that one of them has less muscle definition for softer looks.
  8. I've played with the demo a bit and really liked it. The feet options are especially remarkable as well as asymmetric bom layers. The fact that the dev kit is available is a huge plus, and there is going to be a mod version in the future update. With that being said, no matter what your shape is, the hips are quite round compared to CZ Slim, for example. So it's not a body for everyone, and I wouldn't switch my male alt from Jake to it. But it does look interesting as I often wear androgynous looks myself. Still going to wait and see how much support it gets, because it's not that cheap, and I've already spent too much on obscure mesh bodies that never gained much traction.
  9. The topic is about Peach body by Spider Productions, not Gen.X bodies.
  10. Not sure if it's already been posted, but there are also CZ body skins at Gloom.
  11. Oh, I've mixed up these "Day" events. They both have similar aesthetic and sometimes the same designers, so Peach is going to be popular there. A lot of people haven't even heard about BBL/Impressions body, but you can consistently find some clothes for it there.
  12. That's right, they dedicated this round of DreamDay to Peach and clothes for it, it's even been called PeachDay lol. The body was released at this event, so it makes sense that they wanted to provide more clothes for it.
  13. I felt like the calves and ankles are more or less similar to Kupra or Reborn (meaning they are really small compared to thighs). Of all curvy bodies I think only Belleza had proportional calves, other go for a more cartoonish look. On the subject of Peach body, it seems to me like most people who wear it have a nearly identical shape that they happen to love. I've played a bit with the demo, and it's not my cup of tea. Despite the limitations, it was possible to slim down Kupra quite a bit, but Peach is pretty much locked into whatever shape the mesh itself has, kind of like Cinn&Chai. I was able to achieve a curvy petite look with Kups on my alt, but Peach butt is much bigger, and that's it. I'd still prefer a more flexible body even for curvy looks, because some sliders just don't respond how they should or don't respond at all. Looks like this body is a love or hate thing, has found it's niche, but I don't expect some (if not many) bigger designers to ever rig for it.
  14. Not surprising, considering they didn't offer any discount for Freya users, and a lot of those already purchased Legacy or Reborn on sale (and got a lot more content for much less). The new Peach body is compatible with Maitreya hands and feet accessories, but Gen.X is not compatible even with their own Belleza shoes, nails etc. And is the mod version already out like they promised? No fancy mods for it as well - for example, Peach and Erika made their own squeezed thighs. But hey, here is a new Lelutka skin by Belleza for FLF... It just looks like they didn't even try, or are clueless, or I don't even know. I don't want to sit here all smug and say "see I said it would fail". because I really liked Belleza in the past, and it's genuinely disappointing.
