    I believe the NEW NEW profile shows wider pictures in a 4:3 ratio. Based on this I have been cropping my profile pics to 4:3 and then scaling them to a 2:1 multiple such as 512x256. That seems to result in a dynamically scaled profile pick that is not distorted and gives a bit more real estate than the square. YMMV but give it a try!

    No idea, never seen that before. Maybe you deleted the original shortcut. If you follow Ceka's post above and do a replace links for the broken link you should be able to replace them at once.

    A few hours late but there is a perhaps little-known function in the Firestorm inventory window that will speed things up. (Maybe in other viewers but I don't use them.) If you copy an item shortcut and use CTRL-V to paste, you can paste it to multiple folders by selecting them with shift-click. There is no menu option when multiple folders are selected, only CTRL-V will work. This can be used on subfolders in Outfits.

    Sure, but not in the way you mean. Releasing the first round of free heads was a massive flex that drastically accelerated their complete takeover of the head market. I mean, up until then many big brands had been steadfast about not even having Black Friday sales for the reasons you list.

    I'll always prefer unrigged, but I'd settle for certain popular creators taking a moment to look at where the ears are on an EvoX head. How do they still get this wrong?

    Aeros still looks incredible. Magnus and Xerxes are my fave and there are particular accessories not duplicated for the P. On the other hand, integration with furniture on the P is so much better. Bento animations made specifically for it, like the Ruckus shower, are so much better than the limited auto-angle type control. I'm glad to have both.

    Hopefully the new Genus heads were released with 0 bugs... *coughs* The chances of them being updated in a timely fashion is, in my opinion, extremely slim.

    Worth mentioning for new folks that the history is stored locally, and is separate for each viewer. Landmarks are part of your inventory and will be available in all viewers.

    "I guess you're busy" ...as if that's the only conceivable reason someone wouldn't be interested in talking to them.

    Agree on 32GB of ram. Especially if you might ever want to edit a high resolution photo at the same time, or quickly open a second instance of the viewer, or have dozens of tabs open in a browser, or other resource intensive multitasking. I find 16GB can start to feel low if I'm in a busy club or laggy event.

    Ha ha. I honestly wonder how you got it to look like that though, can you post a picture of the worn outfit folder? Here's Jamie Body + Head with default shape 1, skin 2, no modifications.

    I hope they bring them back. The fact that people get so triggered by someone possibly having their precious last name is a bonus.

    No, choosing Resident is a way to change your name while having "no last name". It won't show in any viewer / situation where Resident is hidden.

    You're obviously very interested in the term. I suggest doing a tiny amount of digging to find out the history of the use of normie online. Start with Know Your Meme. Dig around the history of 4chan. If you don't know what greentext is, you're a normie. To the terminally online, anyone that isnt them is either a normie, a hipster, snowflake, or any number of other pejoratives that can't be written here. That's part of why peoples hackles get up when the word is thrown around, even though it has seeped into the mainsteam like so many awful things from messageboard culture. Heck at this point calling someone a normie may make you one!

    Because people who rarely upgrade their own avatars (ie most men) are less intimidated / more inclined to chat up someone who isn't decked out in $50 USD worth of mesh stuff.

    Creators really seem to like Reborn. It reminds me of the adoption of Genus in that designers and bloggers really loved working with it so it came to dominate events and posts on flickr. But Maitreya is still the #1 most worn body on the grid, it ain't done, lol.

    Probably because many of us were waiting for a body like Reborn, but we got Kupra instead. By the time Reborn came out, we had found ways to make Kupra work (or fallen in love with it) so the Ebody wasn't as enticing.

    I have been messing around with the dating app HUD that's like a Tindr knockoff. So, you can send and receive DMs within the HUD and every time I get pinged it's like "omggg a message how cute!" and yet if the same person were to message me from a random group I'd be like ... wtf is this!
