    I would avoid any politics in a club. We go into SL to escape that crap.

    It may have been a net congestion issue as another MMO had comments on their mboard about some not able to log on from parts of Europe.

    Sadly this is a vendor for my RL bar. My man did call them up on that, but they said they need to have verification it's us and to upgrade the phone. Now we're shopping for a new vendor. The current one has served the bar for 20 plus years.

    A site now requiring 2FA (Two factor Authorization) and the only option is a special app for your smart phone and leaving those of us with flip phones in the dust.

    You got a point there. Could open the Pandora's box for other stuff to get banned. As for the crass stuff on the grid, I have seen racism in world, including in a club my man used to DJ at.

    Last few years politics has gotten real bad all over. In world it's gotten out of hand in some groups that are for other purposes like live performers and shopping. We go into SL to get away from this stuff, not face it there too.... And I do see a mod coming in here to secure the thread.

    Best clubs are ones that don't have the seizure inducing flashing lights --- host gesterbating non-stop --- DJ talking over the songs or only play portions of them --- calling out those not tipping and some others I can think of!

    Depends on what type of music is playing. BPM comes into play for like EDM and stuff. Classic Rock could be one or 2 songs from the same group or maybe a theme, like songs with the word "Fall" in them or using a certain instrument like a sax.

    My Peeve for the day is a fellow ham radio operator who's also a LEO in California. She posted on the radio mboard saying she was chasing out looky-loos trying to do selfies with the fire behind them. Such idiots.

    When I had my club, it was mostly live music and I did it for fun, not to make a killing. I ran the place myself although I had help from a friend. I turned the place to someone else who made it her own and stepped back due to RL stuff and other things.

    One I ran into eons ago --- A club advertising 70s disco music from one of their DJs and when you get there he was only playing one of those songs every half hour and current stuff in between.
