They're hitting other forums too. My man's train board got hit with similar spew and somehow they got around all the safeguards for signing up. He now set up a 7 day before new users can make a post.

While on the subject, both my parents came from Congo. But they came to the US about a year before I was born to work in the auto industry. My man is a Heinz 57 mix though.

When I had my mboard -- every so often would get a bunch of bots registering and posting crap. Finally had to go to an approval method. I know it's probably not possible here --- but maybe a 7 day grace period for new residents to post.

When I had a dedicated parcel for a house --- I kept my actual house on a skybox and one on the ground that was open to anyone. Later on I turfed it and moved my club there.

One peeve I'm encountering more --- websites that are skinny and not easy trying to read them. I know they're mostly for mobile, but there are still many using normal computers.

A friend was thinking of premium, but she's hoping there would some special like they had last year that was 10 bucks cheaper for the year.

I remember a relative telling me when she looked at some new houses and asked if she bought one --- leave out the smart crap. The realtor lady said "Ok Boomer, some things can be changed in the building process, but these new houses are designed to be controlled from your phone." She moved on....

I got my friend to AR that gacha's owner. She gave the info needed and it falling into the gambling thing.

My man was thinking of it --- but for now it's on the back burner. The thing that shot it down was not being able to use the legacy names. He want his with my avi's last name and not use the display name thing to do it.

Although this was mentioned earlier mine today is about Gatcha's that don't give anything. Me and a friend who recently returned to SL was going around the grid and stopped at a couple of stores. Although I warned her about playing those things she decided to try one. 2 out of 3 tries it didn't give her anything, but played a sound saying "You pay your money, you take your chances." She was upset although she ignored my warning about those things. Told her most of the times they issue something, but was like the 2nd time I've seen one that shot blanks.

We tried, but Disney said they would seek further action if we didn't remove it. The company (Disney) is a whole lot different now then when Walt was in charge. It's been in the bar since it opened in 1963 --- belonged to the original people who built the place and came with the business when we bought it a few years ago. I believe it is from California or something although our bar is in Saskatchewan. Since I posted that --- we took it home and it's in my man's train room. We did have someone look at it and was worth more then 3K.

Speaking of cats.....

Let's see..... When we moved up here to where my man's family was raised --- we retired from running a night club back on the West Coast. Couple years later --- we got bored --- and bought a small bar in our small town. The previous owners were retiring and was going to shut it down. Last Tuesday was the last night we were open and was mostly regulars that were there. The mandate from the province only came down a few days later so we were closed ahead of that. So now we're playing "retirement." Once this mess is over we plan to open it back up.

Cats would had a field day.....

Very protective. In the bar we own there was a large sign showing Mickey holding a beer and a rifle --- the sign dates from WWII. It's been there long before we evern bought the place. Recently Disney's legal team told us to take it down. Now it's in the store room.

And some of us with RL business are feeling the affects --- like our RL bar. We set up many gel stations and cut back the hours as only the regulars still come.

As per the SL Grid Status page --- this is what was posted: "Investigating - Some Second Life services are currently experiencing an outage.
