I remember many times trying to hug my man in SL and when getting close his avi would bounce away. One time causing him to bounce off a sky platform and go splut on the land below! 🤣

Long ago that was happening on a region where a live music club I was going to was located at. I suggested to the club owner to lodge a ticket with LL A few days later the problem stopped.

SL meant for the computer, not on a tiny phone screen.

I was sad when it got demoted. It should've been grandfathered as a planet!

Last time I got a flu shot I came down with it and was ill for 3 weeks. Doctor told me after that happened I was one of the rare types that get bad reaction from those. Besides that I never had the flu.

I noticed that too. Most of the clothing is stuff wouldn't wear in RL. And if you find anything, it very scarce.

One annoying thing I ran into recently was an ABM that need a mobile phone to operate it. No card slot. I had to find another machine down the block since I'm one of 15 people on the planet that don't have a mobile device.

Kind of reminds me of the old eXite brand. I used to be in their group more for entertainment then anything. Got a bunch of good laughs --- like "my thing is stuck on the floor and can't move it." 🤣

My man got one of those and never opened it. The venue owner asked why and he said he's there to play tunes and enjoy it. The owner gave him a warning to start using them. So my man dedicated the next song to the venue and played Johnny Paycheck's "Take This Job and Shove It!" He got promptly banned afterwords and ARed too. Got a good laugh out of that!

I saw something on a Gigabyte motherboard. Was like $479US on Amazon, and Microcentre had it for $399US. So much for saving.

Maybe bought a few of the Amazon Rectometer probes and waiting for "customers" to use them on? 🤣

I think Prime Day is when they want to clear all the useless crap they couldn't sell during the rest of the year. Who needs a DIY home Rectal Scope Prober kit for a buck 3.98?

When I ran a club --- it was mostly live performers and the only gesture spamming most of the time was the applause one when the song ended. But for DJ clubs, I stayed away from those as it gets annoying and I'll bail. It's as bad as clubs (and some avis) that use flashing lights or particles. Some of us will get seizures from those.

I'll offer a buck 3.98 for the region! 🤣

When my man DJed he would play a lot of stuff from we call the "vault." Like little played album cuts or obscure Blues tunes. We have a very large library and one night someone requested a song she hadn't heard since in high school in the 70s. My man dug it out and played it and got a good tip. She was very happy and said the song wasn't even on Youtube. Although I owned a venue in SL for a bit, my man only DJed there once. It was mostly a live performance spot. I've since sold the venue and taking an extended break from SL.
