I'm using Slink Redux which is BOM only- there are no alpha cuts on the hud at all. There is a "Classic" body included, which does include an alpha hud, and I have converted this to BOM as well, just in case I ever needed to use it. So far, I haven't. The Classic version can't use alpha masks. This is also the case with Belleza which is what I started with. I would much rather have BOM-only than HUD-only. Inbetween I had Kalhene, which I gather is the same as Maitreya in that you can use either. But I don't like the body shape of either Kalhene or Maitreya as much as I like Hourglass. I am getting better at making alpha masks. I wear a shirt and pants made with the clothing template texture, then wear the mesh garment over it, and make an alpha texture with all the parts that are covered up turned alpha. It's time-consuming but not difficult. More often than not, I can find an alpha I already own in a different outfit that works.

With the title of the pic being "Weekends and Windmills" I have a suspicion that the release may be tomorrow. It does seem odd to release on a weekend, in case stuff goes wrong, but then again with everyone working from home I guess people are a bit more flexible with days and shifts. If it IS tomorrow, then it's time for a reminder for people to NOT mess with the house rezzer during the release - that's what caused issues with the Stilts when they first launched.

I'm really keen on the Chalets, I fell in love with them the moment I first saw them on the reveal. I did land a houseboat this week, once my mainland sold, but it's not my dream location so I have no quandary with regards to throwing it back into the game. I'm sure that someone else will love it. But the Chalets are definitely my favourite theme so far.

99% of notecards I've sent have been customer support requests. 99% of notecards I've received have been long-winded, one-sided explanations of excuses for drama.

If you can wait a couple of weeks, there's a new theme release coming up so there'll be more abandons of other themes from people wanting to give the Chalets a try. We saw the same thing when the Stilts were released; for a few weeks after that, every type was consistently available. (There will be at least one houseboat abandon for sure - mine - because I REALLY want a chalet).

The only criteria for me is that it must be present on the two or three pages per week that I actually look at. Of the pages I do look at, I "like" everything. There aren't enough free hours in my week to look at them all.

Parody - yes, that's what it looks like to me. It's like a super-exaggeration of certain traits of certain ethnic groups. Too thick in the hips and thighs, in comparison with my usual Hourglass. I like the shape of Freya even better and would have bought that instead of HG, if Belleza wasn't dead-in-the-water. Ebody Curvy is nice but there's so little clothing available for it, it doesn't seem to be worth getting at this stage.

I remember that, but I don't think it could work with Bellisseria for two reasons First, a straight swap is 512m which means that they could only use Campers, and there's WAY not enough campers for that. And you can't just give them a 1024 instead because that could potentially bump them up to the next tier level if they already own other land. Second, there will never be enough houses to meet demand, as soon as they release a new theme, people make more premium alts to grab them and then it's full until the next release... which wouldn't happen. I think that when Belli is fully complete, with no more homes to go, they are just going to have to kick everyone out of the old homes and those people (if they are still active) will simply have to compete against the armies of alts like the rest of us do.

I'm presuming this wishlist is specifically for Linden Homes, rather than SL in general. So my wishlist for Linden Homes is... Custom interior wall colours for Trads and Houseboats, like they introduced with Logs & Vics. Ability to rotate the house 90 or 180 degrees When you abandon a house, the same house is excluded from your availability for the next 24 hours. OR the 5 claim limit per 24 hours doesn't count duplicate claims on the same parcel. If we're talking general SL features, the only thing I really want right now is a working map.

Where is the demo region? I'd like to see them again.

Always knickers if I'm wearing a dress or skirt, and usually BOM, sometimes mesh if they don't poke through the skirt. I rarely wear a bra though, unless I'm purposefully wearing a bra as my only top, with nothing over it.

I recently moved into Campbell Coast which is right on the Circuit La Corse, so I've been driving (and riding and sailing) all around there in the past couple of weeks. The roads around there are really nicely done with lots of rez zones and nice decorative touches from the LDPW.

I will often wear leggings or tall boots with a dress that's otherwise inappropriately short.

I work in park maintenance and my team covers a handful of council-owned town parks and sports fields. Mowing the grass, planting trees, clearing weeds, maintaining fences, signage and sports equipment etc. Its mostly outdoors or in greenhouses, and covid hasn't had much impact on the work as the parks I work on have remained open. And I get to drive a tractor. 😁

It's not the "hairbase", it's your "eyebrow shaper", which is what used to be system hair and isn't ever used for that any more. The problem happens when the system hair has a transparent texture on it but hasn't been shrunk down to fit inside the head. You'll find it in your list of worn items, it might be called "eyebrow shaper" or "bald base" or something like that. If it's no-mod, you'll have to delete it, it can't be salvaged, so find a different one that IS mod. It looks like this in Firestorm: If it IS mod, then go into Edit mode on it, go to the "Style" tab and turn all the sliders except the "shear" ones to zero. The Shear ones should be left at 50.

I had one safe pic (this one) switched to Restricted immediately on upload. My best guess is it thought my knees were a bum. Anyway I changed it back to Safe and it stayed that way, so I guess a human must have taken a look at it.

I got that one and L$1795 is its normal price. When it was on sale (in November, around Black Friday) it was L$999. It's a nice body and it fits Maitreya clothes (mostly - some are too big) but too skinny for my taste. If they made another that fits Freya or Hourglass clothes I'd buy it.
