  1. While cleaning my inventory I found some, almost forgotten, jewelry and flexi hair. Head: Vista Lia Body: Maitreya Skin: YS&YS (on head and body) Hair: [Jolie Femme] - Josephine (flexi) Hair jewelry: [Zaara] - Nizam Head Jewel Earrings: [Zuri Rayna] - Drop Earrings (these were quite recent gift in the store) Necklace: [JCNY] - Mila Diamond Formal Necklace 2.0 Dress: [FurtaCor] - Nathalia
  2. Are there any plans to upgrade the extremely bad ancient system avatar's shape mesh to present day standards? If not, why not?
  3. Maybe this gives more relevant links for making flexi hair? https://www.google.nl/search?q=how+to+make+hair+in+second+life&revid=253619&cad=h Here are some instructions too: http://forums-archive.secondlife.com/8/53/162519/1.html Instruction about flexible prims: http://www.users.on.net/~angsty/html/LSB6-Flexi-Prims.html
  4. I transformed snapshot into a drawing. It's pretty easy actually. There are step by step tutorials how to do it. Just Google: "How to create a pencil drawing from a photo" and "How to transform photos into gorgeous pencil drawings"
  5. Your cat went bananas when I fed him catnip with cream.
  6. Bento bones can be used to animate the hair. But the truth is that bento animated hair does not look anything great. It looks even a bit weird as the animation moves the hair without any reason. So it's not the way how real hair moves. Flexi hair still has the most natural movement what hair can do in Second life. Then it has the known problem that it goes through the body. There is no perfect solution for the hair so far in Second Life.
  7. Your husband came back when I fed him fried eggs with bacon.
  8. Your cat came back because I called it so cry no more.
  9. For your information, here is a list what texture sizes SL supports: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Texture_sizes One thing to remember is that for classic avatars the maximum texture size is 512 x 512 pixels. For mesh bodies and mesh heads the maximum size is 1024 x 1024 pixels. You can upload textures in PNG and TGA formats, both are lossless formats. (SL accepts also JPG format but never use that as it is lossy format.) After resizing your texture, before uploading it, you might want to sharpen it a bit in your texture editor.
  10. When I hear nice music playing inworld I save the stream link to my media player. Then I can listen those streams offline too, if I want to. Sometimes I want to.
  11. Once you have adjusted your body to your liking, don't forget to exercise to keep the body in good shape.
  12. President Trump was a transgender so she ran a mile and received a bitcoin.
  13. Do you use Maitreya HUD's hand animations or some other animations for the hands? I always keep Maitreya HUD's "Cycle natural hand poses" on and I've never seen any issues with the hands.
  14. However I can say with confidence that it is certainly a virtual world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_world What page wins?

  18. I have that Primitar in my inventory. I've once tried it but I don't remember did it have any animations in it. There is a notecard dated 2006-04-15 in the package which reads: - - - - - --Future Adjustments-- The design, while good, is far from perfect. As such, I will be updating the version contained in the vendor on a regular basis. The first major update will be the inclusion of the prim gun. --Assisted Update-- If you happen to make some improvements to the attach quality, or just misc. other ones, please IM me and I might be inclined to include your changes in the next version. You will of course be credited for you work. --Everything Else-- Just click on the HUD buttons, and it'll give you the rest. Hope you enjoy your primitar. - - - - - Note especially that wording: "The design, while good , is far from perfect."
  19. Primitar (The Prim avatar) is available here, can be bought with 0 L$: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife//229/151/33
  20. 35,865 and there still are lots of never needed old stuff which must be cleaned out. Sooner or later...
  21. What I did with the Vista Lia head was: 1. I wore the shape "VISTA BENTO HEAD LIA by VISTA 2" (comes with head package). (to me that one looked the nicest head shape) 2. From that shape I copied all the head shape numbers to my own shape. 3. After copying I tweaked the head shape slightly here and there until I was satisfied. It's important just to tweak little by little (with no radical changes at once), here and there and looking at different angles, until it looks good what you are after. In the below images I have the YS&YS skin what comes with the head.
  22. "Dressed to kill, eh?" That was what one gentleman said to me in 2007 in Help Island Public when I was wearing long, crazily active, freebie flexi dress. The newbie me was so happy about that compliment for many days! Even today I clearly remember his words. And what's more, he gave me some more freebie clothes to wear. ♥ ♥ ♥ That was really cool for newbie girl. Head: Vista Lia Body: Maitreya Skins: YS&YS (head and body) Hair: eXxEsS - Asha A Hair flower: *VioMagic* - Hibiscus Hairpin Dress: **SD** - Zorenta Red Gown BSM (Creator: Ellie Monk) This beautiful gown was a free gift in front of one ball room place. I don't remember any more where the place was. Bindi: :: SAGA :: - My Moon Bindi (on forehead) Necklace: toksik - Ludwig Necklace A
  23. Right. Maitreya body creator said exactly that. The neck fix is meant to be used only with mesh body + system head combination. If both the body and head are mesh, then don't use the neck fix. Actually the neck fix can look really weird in some lighting conditions (for example appearing really dark and even blotchy). Better solution is to find matching skins. They will work quite ok in all lighting conditions. In some lighting the seam might be visible when looking close, in some no seam at all visible. (Anyway, in general people might not be staring at our necks very close, so the slightly visible seam should not be a big problem.) - - - - - I have exactly the same skin on my mesh body and mesh head. Even so, in some lighting the seam is slightly visible, in some not. So, we just have to accept it and live with it. By the way, I have seen the neck seam on some of those full mesh bodies (having body, feet, hands and head) too. - - - - -
