The Christmas lights (unisex model even): :matte-motes-big-grin: And the matching slaves: :matte-motes-big-grin-wink: You're good to go rocking. Enjoy. :smileywink:
  3. Avatars attention! Please stop using facelights. You are giving very bad influence to real people! The SL facelight fad is spreading already to RL. The proof, look: :smileysurprised: What is this supposed to do? The ad states proudly: The Facial Light is a safe and portable palm-sized rechargable cosmetic device equipped with (36) red light 660nm LED's. The multi-light device is intended to improve: • Reduction in wrinkles and smoothes fine lines • Produces a healthy and radiant glow • Painlessly rejuvenates and firms skin for youthful appearance See, just the same thing what avat

Live and let live and recognize that people have a right to look the way they want to. I agree to that people do have the right to look the way they want to. That is perfectly all right. The problem with facelights is that the wearer does not change only how they themselves look. They affect also the environment near them, and they affect also how other avatars look who are near them. Even if I turn worn lights off
  7. Raven1 Short wrote: I see the need for butt lights maybe. I've seen this problem more than once where the person's bum looks....infected. This is why we need more vertices on our bums. And crotch too. :smileylol: We cannot wear Brazilian type bikinis with bums like this. Linden Lab, do you read? :matte-motes-angry:

  9. Caitlin Tobias wrote: Heh, I do not mind the 'look at me' message, after all I want ppl to look at me too - I spend a lot of time dressing Caity up and make her look good! Then again, a VERY bright facelight makes my eyes water and makes it hard to look at them - so they reach the opposite effect. Oh yes. I find it a compliment too if somebody stares at me for some length of time. We indeed can look great without the aid of those beacons shining at our faces. :matte-motes-big-grin: Wow!
  10. Yesterday I saw one female avatar burning the ground textures (and her textures) with super strong light. I was was wondering where the light came from as there were no balls orbiting her. Further inspection revealed this: • Both earrings had light • The necklace had light • The hair had light :smileysurprised: :smileyfrustrated: Personally I have never understood the use of facelights. They take off the effects of environmental lighting effects. To me facelight sends a message "look at me". :smileywink:

  12. Hiding "Show Look At" from other has one, in my opinion, bad side effect. Let's say in your AO you have animations where the neck is free (i.e. your head follows the mouse, your head turns to the direction where you are looking at). Now, let's say that you are chatting with somebody and you want to look at their face. When you zoom to the face, normally your head turns there (if your animation has free neck, not locked one). Now if you hide "Show Look At" from others your head does not follow the mouse anymore. Instead of turning the head towards the other avatar you are chatting with, yo

It would be cool to sit at my computer in SL and look around my room. So I measured out the walls, the table, my chair, etc. and converted everything to meters and started building. Let's just say that my avatar could not fit through the door, my eye level was above the ceiling, I could not sit on such a tiny chair and table! It was a real eye opening moment. I imagined if my avatar were real and in my room. She would not be a tall person but
