Favorite things to do with Second Life water?

All I can personally think of is swimming around as an aquatic animal avatar.

Floating in an inner tube

Using the natural water level for ponds or swimming pools

Linden-interactive items such as clothing that changes textures to look wet

Whatever you do , don't search water sports on the MP.. I made that mistake.

But there is surfing and was gonna look up things like knee boarding and water skiing, then thought, why not just search water sports.. Corrupted search term!!  I'm blinded but cannot unsee!! \o/

one of the most relaxing experiences for me is paddling out beyond the wave formation point under a setting sun. Just sit the board and see the sunset across the sea and listen to the music. Some boards are made with sit up paddle animations, both forward and back when go slowly. Can go round in lazy circles. Is pretty cool

Sailing, but possibly more than that is just idling on a patio watching the way the water shimmers. The best views in SL normally involve water. Something about it that is almost medatative, relaxing.

Wind based sailing with persistent wind directions (the various wind based scripts that you set wind for, rather than SL wind which randomly changes direction every few seconds).

Physics based mermaid system (near as I can tell there's only 1 maker of this, the Tala AO - basically mermaid movement that works like an SL vehicle, giving a system radically different in feel from a 'swim HUD').
