  1. I just was in the About Land settings for a new parcel and noticed a new-to-me option on the About Land -> Sound tab (using the most recent SL viewer). It is called "Obscure MOAP" and the hover tip for it says "Media on a prim located outside this parcel should not play automatically for an agent within this parcel and vice versa". To me, this sounds like it will restrict media streams in parcels which have this set from playing media streams from outside the parcel - and hopefully, may keep your media streams inside your parcel only (my interpretation of the 'and vice versa'). I don't know if it's made it to TPV viewers yet or not.

First, I would suggest checking your email that you use for your account to see if there are any emails from LL which might explain why the account is on hold. If you don't see anything from LL in your inbox, be sure to check your email's spam or junk folder. Are you able to login to your web dashboard (secondlife.com)? If so, check your account billing status to see if there is some type of issue with billing or your payment method. Most likely (especially if you don't find an email from LL explaining the issue) you will need to contact Support.
  3. If you are going to have restrictions on either the taking of photographs or what can be done (or not) with the photographs, I would suggest that in addition to putting the terms in the land covenant that you have a visible sign at the landing point stating to click for NC of photography restrictions or stating the land covenant tab should be read for photography restrictions. While I often read the "About Land" description when visiting other regions I usually only read the covenant tab if the parcel is a rental that I am interested in checking out. I would imagine that I am not the only one who does not routinely read the covenant tab, which is why I suggest a sign prominently displayed at the landing point.
  4. I think I remember you making that suggestion in one of the forum threads about the trick-or-treating last year. I hadn't tried it last year as I wasn't familiar with the BelliPins and that was all just a bit more than I wanted to figure out at that particular time. Sounds like a good idea though, if there's another organized hunt of some type this year - whether by LL or by residents.
  5. It worked fairly well. I didn't find a lot, but I did find some, plus I had fun wandering around - with a purpose, for a change Last October was a very hard month for me RL, so the looking for pumpkins was a welcome escape at that time.
  6. I enjoyed the Bellisseria trick-or-treating last year. I had a pumpkin out at my house and enjoyed wandering around random areas of Bellisseria when I had a chance keeping a lookout for other houses with the pumpkins out on their porch. I didn't worry about what others were doing in terms of sharing LM's etc., as I was just participating for the enjoyment of it, not the top prizes.
  7. I will probably do a little decorating, but not anything overboard or too scary. I probably should do most of it at my LH as my mainland home isn't on a road or waterway so unlikely to be seen by anyone, but my mainland parcel is my main home spot. I don't think I'll dress up in a costume though, unless I'm already dressed in an outfit from a prior time period for some other reason (and which I don't really consider the same as a 'halloween costume').
  8. If you have to edit your shape and change the Shape->Body->Hover value back to 50 each time you change an outfit, it would seem like the shape wasn't fully saved after you made the change? or you're wearing a different shape with each outfit? If you made the change in the shape settings and did a "save as" that saves a new version of the shape, and for the change to carry over to future outfits you'd need to be wearing the new version of the shape. You can replace the shape that is associated with existing outfits by right clicking on the old shape name and using the "replace links" option. (Replace links brings up a dialog window where you drag the old item and the new item into the appropriate fields in the dialog box and confirm you want to replace the links).
  9. I don't think Bellisseria needs any commercial lots at all. I have no problem with someone wanting to create a shopping area, or a residential area with a town square with shops or a downtown area, either on mainland or private estates, but not LL in the Linden Home areas. LL providing a basic home for residents who have paid for premium membership is one thing - but LL potentially providing a free shop space to a creator just for being a premium member is going too far, in my mind. If a creator decides to go premium but doesn't need (or want) a LH, they can use their free tier allowance on mainland for their shop and after the initial purchase cost they wouldn't have any monthly tier for their shop unless they expanded into a larger parcel size.
  10. I'm logged on my computer, but in SL (or as I generally think about it, in-world).
  11. The current release version is Release 6.6.3.574158 (64bit), and in that version clicking on the profile link in the search results is bringing up the new in-world profile. The version you are running looks like a release candidate version, so if you're experiencing something not working right, I would suggest filing a JIRA about it so that hopefully it can be resolved before that version is officially released.
  12. Which advertising specifically are you referring to? I didn't see any classifieds on your profile, so I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say you are unable to advertise your land to sell goods. Is it advertising specific to DFS that is a service provided by DFS? If so, you would need to contact the DFS support group. If it's an ad-board that you rented, then you would need to contact whoever owns the ad-board.
  13. I wouldn't worry about the Process Credit warning if you were not intending to request a process credit (and had completed the necessary steps to be able to do so). In terms of not being able to log in - what is the message that you get when you try to log in? Have you checked to see if you're using the latest version of the viewer?
  14. I was basically just trying to give some explanations and some troubleshooting tips - if not for him (if he decides to reinstate his premium membership and get another LH) - but others who may not be as knowledgeable about LH's and might read the thread.
  15. You might have been just outside the parcel boundaries if the options were grayed out. The options for allowing build, object entry and scripts should always be modifiable to you as the owner of the parcel. Also remember, as a premium member you have access to Live Chat, so that's a quick way to get help, especially regarding an issue with a LH. If you did the downgrade to basic account from premium account on the web dashboard, the premium benefits, with the exception of owning land or a LH, generally stay in effect until the premium membership term expires. I also think that if you change your mind, you can cancel the downgrade to basic yourself now on the web dashboard premium account section.
  16. I can commiserate with this peeve. It's 104 F in Rohnert Park right now, with an expected high of 108. Yesterday we hit 111, which is higher than I can remember in the last 50+ years that I've lived in this area. Normally our "heat waves" are just a few days here and there where it might get up to 102 F or so. Because it's not usually unbearably hot, we don't have air conditioning - just a few ceiling fans. We did have a power loss for a while yesterday late afternoon.
  17. @vanettda Lassard I'm so glad that you were able to beat the odds and are (I hope) recovering well. I had a health scare myself last year ending with a major surgery and longer than expected hospital stay, and the last week before the surgery I was feeling a bit frantic about "getting my affairs in order", though I mostly focused on RL issues, like making sure my husband and grown daughter living with us knew how to access all the bank and financial information on my computer in order to take over the bill paying and other financial stuff, if that became necessary. Looking back now, I can think of other things I should probably leave them some instructions about - and that would include my SL accounts, if for no other reason than to abandon my land and cancel my 2 premium subscriptions (and let a few close friends know what happened). I don't think I would delete anything from my accounts beforehand. Regarding the accounts you deleted - I believe you could have them reactivated if you desired, via a support ticket, especially being as it was relatively recent. I had deleted an account once and then decided I wanted it back and was able to have it reactivated after answering a few identifying questions. Most important though, is that your RL self is still around.
  18. Cloak of Invisibility sounds really cool and mysterious, but they're probably just wearing full body alphas. Possibly bots as mentioned above, or groups of alts for playing Tiny Empires (I think that's still around).
  19. I couldn't give your picture a 'like' because... wild fires. However, you did a wonderful job of conveying the sky and air close to a fire. I live in California, but we've been lucky in my area with not having any catostrophic wild fires the past few years. I do live not too far from where the Tubbs fire was in 2017 though, and that is something I won't forget.
  20. In terms of is Lara "done", I have a feeling it won't ever be "done" because of the large amount of people still wearing Lara - far above the numbers of any of the other bodies - and because of the large number of creators rigging for it. I'm still waiting for Slink Physique Original to be "done", yet there are creators still rigging for it. I just bought several outfits from an event this morning rigged for it, and another monthly event usually has at least one original mesh creator who rigs for it. So, I imagine it's going to take much, much longer for a body as popular as Lara to finally (if ever) reach a point where it could be considered "done".
  21. At the Slink store you can buy a body bundle which includes hands and feet (and includes them attached, according to the more info documentation from the store). If you own a prior version of the body and redelivery does not deliver a bundle version, if you own at least 4 of the feet styles or the deluxe feet set you can contact Slink Resident in order to be upgraded to the bundle version of the body with the attached hands and feet.
  22. I don't have any wait time at all for the video to start when I go to secondlife.com.
  23. I like the new video better than the one it replaced. Even if the animations are janky or faces don't move or the guitar player isn't strumming in the right place, at least it's SL avatars in SL, and it better represents what one will actually see in-world.
