Draw distance, number of max particles, max avatar complexity, number of non imposter avatars, LOD-factor sliders,.. all of them but mostly those... -
Thoughts on the Town Hall meeting?

Do you funny guys have any idea how many creators there are without Premium accounts? I really doubt the Lindens would try to pull that marketing desaster stunt. -

Maybe your graphics are set to high, try reducing graphics settings. PS try logging in to location "Suduffco", that is a pretty empty water sim between Heterocea and Sansara... -

Show and Hide and Prim Count
Fionalein replied to FairreLilette's topic in Building and Texturing Forum
The system I have requires the rezzed objects to be copy and mod... I think most will do that (something to keep in mind when shopping for rezzers) -
Yes really demo first, most of those shops have a posestand you can switch the animations through... you can buy the single animation from the posestand or the whole AO set from the sign behind it (at least at those 4 stores). I never found one bento AO where all animations fit, but usually the bundle prize is so cheap I keep buying whole AOs and dropping the ones that don't work.

Just a stupid techie question... what happens if the middle of a megaprim is out of drawing range... is it even visible then?
-
No, it's not you, you would not believe how often I head to hear "Your avi is really onyl x weeks/month old, and this is your first?"...
-
And silly me had the impression they wanted to screw something ...
-
Sorry to hear that, at least you didn't run away screaming "They are all mad in there!" yet

None of the methods above are smooth in the most simple implementation, you will have to add intermediate steps for them and animate through those to make it a smooth appearance

I already imagine you pulling the boat in with a battlecry: "FOR SCIENCE!!!"

Did you try human ones? Or is the kemono rigging so far off you need your own?

So it's an indoor set in disguise?

Your viewer can only render a certain number of triangles... if you are busy calculating the fine structure of you neighbour's carpet you might miss the vase in your own room...

I hope you don't regret that gadget, they might all turn up with naked mole avatars or worse =^.^= PS: because I would if I had one

I'm not sure if physical vehicles can move underground... does anyone know about this? Might be the first limitation you run into.

Sounds like something you can easily test yourself...
