    When I fly I usually have it pretty high (320 but that is still low compared to what others might use)... but i mostly use map for orientation (and have all other LOD sliders but objects at minimum, as well as all avatars impostered)

    shh A FAIK (was way before my time) the Linden homes were user generated contest entries back form the 10*10 prim days... would like to see that repeated with the new homes ... LL can still design their own (or leave it to the moles) if the entries are not good enough (which I doubt)...

    AFAIK catwa uses thw SLUV map... so you might be off best learning how to do classic makeup, and then learn how to do Omega or Catwa appliers out of them... and be sure to check out those appliers in betagrid where you do not loose real Linden money for uploading textures for testing...

    Even limiting those without PIOF might be hard for some of us who simply cannot provide payment info. The only way I could see them do it is by charging different upload and cashout fees or closing the realms to us. Prohibit creation in total? Yeah that will make the newbies stay ... Limit adult access? Hurray, that will most likely kill of all of those adult clubs in one move as most unskilled jobs there are taken by? You guess it, ... no PIOF avis... We're already at a point where the Lab decided to penalize non premium designers who cannot enter the event sims their own shops are represented at, ... limiting them even more might be that last straw for some of them.

    Not so long, 465 days, so don't say it isn't interesting to newcomers anymore because that simply isn't true.

    The free project Ruth 2.0 almost uses the old avi. I played around with her but must test her against some classic Linden stuff more seriously (my guess though as it's based on the Linden avi is: it will most likely fit.)

    Yeah might be me, but does Matthew 7.3 say something to you? No, you miss the whole point... the objective was to show up this is a bad idea, this can be achieved in 2 ways: explain why (we did) show the poster has no idea on this topic (we all did, thanks for helping us on that one)

    The problems I see with premium is the perks: Premium areas ... yeah sure, who goes there again? If I cannot share it with my friends it's useless to most Premium gifts ... I get better gifts by top designers for free on my basic account... Ability to hold mainland ... have you ever visited that one? There is a reason Klytyna calls it the madlands... Linden homes ... now finanlly a good thing, but look a bit 2007-ish right now, don't they? Weekly stipends ... to be fair they seem OK. Oh I have a great marketing idea: how about penalizing people who do not buy into this great offer, so those who do will feel better? Sorry when I'm on the side with Klytyna here, but I sense some Premium Entitlement Syndrome... Come on how stupid do you take us? "marketplace fees" brought forward by people who are either selling big enough to not care or those not selling at all, "Basic Account penalities" brought forward by premium owners, "higher cashout fees" brought forward mostly by people wo do not cash out. It all boils down to "Lindens, I see you must increase your income but please look over there and don't you dare to hurt me because I'm superimportant, you know?"

    Prevent the plebs form creating items in SL? Rezzing vehicles to drive? Living in cheap small houses the landowners rent out to them? Yeah sure, they will nail that coffin lid why don't people think through stuff like that? You would only do that if you want to kill off the plattform, as that would create the biggest exodus SL ever saw...
