    Will be interesting after the 1st of September. I'm sure a few shops that never check the mboards or even the SL website will be aware. Although I think a message appeared on the splash screen when logging in, most ignore what's there.

    I had some club scrape a list and sent me spam for an event. When I complained to them --- I got some not to nice wording. So I ARed them.

    Annoying club hosts that spam non-stop gestures in the chat to tip the DJ, dancers, club tip jar, etc.

    Or inheriting an Intan dance orb with the Chicken Dance in it and seeing avis using it. When I retired from my club-owning days I passed that Intan to someone else to deal with the chicken dancers!

    What was in the group chat the 3rd party script in it was used in other brands and one of his malfunctioned too. So he asked for take-downs since he can't fix the script.

    Yep. In my case I only have a flip phone --- but soon I'll have to find another one as 3G in our area is getting PKed in the middle of next year.

    From one of the groups that offered the X-Sploder. The groupowner put this - "after all the scripts of sploder isn't actually my creation...." and removed the item from his shop and asking clubs to take it down. So it looked like a few creators used a common script and put the thing in their shops.

    I'd delete SL if he bought it. I had someone in my bar show me on his phone "check this out, you can make living avatars on Freakbook now!" I said SL been around forever and even showed him on the computer that's in the DJ booth. He said FB was better since he could do it on his phone.

    A few decades ago you could go between the US and Canada sometimes without a check at the border. Not no more.

    If you sink through a chair in RL, better get a new chair! I sometimes forget to PK the AO when chairing.

    The Linden that told me about SL back in the 15th century did engineering of some kind. When he came to my former night club in the mod 2000s we would talk computers and he said "This company I work for I have crashed out more then once some test servers." Before we moved out of the US, we had a night club in South San Francisco, which was short freeway trip from the Lab's offices.

    Speaking of Steam, I'm sadden when the Pinball Arcade game stalled when the publisher lost rights to most of the pinball games in it.

    And a mboard I'm a Mod on had a thread that derailed real bad and I put the brakes on it --- even file 13ing it to the "Abyss" which is our boards toss threads bin. Some PMed me but that thread is not coming back and they find out I have a thick skin!

    IIRC there's a boat rezzer on an island on the L-Shaped lake that gives a free sailboat that you can put in your inventory.
