  1. While on the DJ --- when a club says the song titles need to be turned off. My man checked a club for a DJ gig and was told that. When he said he couldn't do that due to that due to the terms of our licence, the staff person said "sorry no tltles or no gig." My man warped out.
  2. The TV Licence in the UK goes back a long time. I had a co-worker from there who told me about the licence thing and I was surprised. But she said some countries use them to support their version of public broadcasting like the BBC. I got a feeling it's possible it my go away due to the way the viewing habits has changed. Wikipedia has a good article about TV licences and some areas also have a radio one too: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Television_licence
  3. That means that although the various clients such as FS or Sing are 64-bit, the back-end stuff is still running in 32-bit?
  4. And I think I only saw 1 or 2 Zehetbauer's around. Most common name I've seen in world was "Voom."
  5. Since I rarely change my avi's clothes (maybe since I rarely go in world nowadays), she might reek enough to melt the region's server. Sorry AWS!
  6. And they get pissed if you call them by their system name if you can't read the gobbledy***** .
  7. I did have SL clear half my friend's list more then once......
  8. I encountered that a year back when a performer wanted to add me to his friend's list and it didn't take.
  9. My man worked in this club for like half a shift. They jumped on him for not talking constantly --- even over songs, not disabling the song titles and finally a song that was on the club's ban list. During that song he got fired and 86ed from the island. Funny thing at the same time the manager crashed out of SL and couldn't change the stream and someone still at the club PMed my man. He decided to have fun and dedicated the song after the Fox song to the club's owners - Take This Job and Shove It. Btw the song that got my man banned was Ylvis - The Fox song.
  10. I think San Francisco and a few others actually removed some cans --- made the streets too cluttered. What nonsense.
  11. And I been writing more Canadian English since I moved up here a few years back due to my man's family being here. Now I need to think of a new colour for my bar's party room!
  12. The components from cell phone towers and render of those mobiles useless. That's if one wears panties!
  13. Take the loos from the local police precinct. Then it will be in the news --- "Toilets stolen from local police station, the cops have nothing to go on - film at 11!"
  14. Sadly if I heard the song Dancing Queen one more time a prim in world will be hurt! Radio and clubs have played that song too many times.
  15. I know! Too many and always cleaning those out of my inventory. The article did bring up some future stuff, like the Zenescope project and Upland using Tilia for handling the $$.
  16. One peeve my man just mentioned --- A MMORPG he plays just got booted off AWS (Amazon Web Services) about a week ago for having the characters do something that might look like an "adult act" when it was a special hug and dance when they win a round in a Citadel battle thing. This is tame compared to SL! The toons are not even naked although the female ones are kinda skimpy, which is the norm for most MMOs. The publisher did find non-AWS servers to host the game.
  17. Or those shooting pics with their phones shooting vertical instead of horizontal. Perfect examples are videos of trains on Youtube. I even made comments about that one one of the videos and got a snarky reply "I shoot for my phone, not for your ancient *** PC."
  18. I'm sure wording regarding gachas will get added to rule list.
  19. One region I used to have my former club on the estate owner loved these ugly ass dividers between the parcels which were a link of rocks and palm trees.
  20. I asked that in one of the groups and nearly got my head chopped off. She was very ticked off at the Lab for putting the kibosh on the gachas.
