    My man who plays a few MMOs says one of them has a physical security token they send you and use it to access the game. They are unique up to 10 accounts and generates a # on it's screen you input onto the website. Some banks use them and I did a mock-up of one what a SL version could look like. This version of the token currently does not exist for SL.

    At least it's an option. For the casual SLer --- the current tried and true way of logging in will suffice. For those who merchant and run stores and such, this will help secure their things. I think the bugs are still getting worked out. Remember, we're guinea pigs as the developers really don't find out bugs until something is release to the masses.

    And watching that video --- Linden staff saying a lot of "Sorry, we can't disclose this or that" regarding the AR thing. Translation they are covering their rears and many other companies do the same. Don't need secret griefers landing there and learning the Lab's tricks.

    At least it's opt-in --- especially for the 34 of us that don't have smart phones.

    Since Twitch is owned by Amazon --- they are touchy about adult stuff. So far AWS already kicked off a couple of MMORPGs from their servers since some action show adult matter.

    I noticed on the Knowledge Base page it says this: "Multi-factor authentication is currently available on your SecondLife.com Dashboard only. It's opt-in and not required, though it is an excellent addition to your account's security." So they give you a choice to use it or not. So for those who do heavy business they can engage the MFA to protect their accounts. For casual members who just sign in to check out music or whatever they can proceed as normal.

    The phone crap getting to rediculos. They are depending too much on the stupid smart phone --- like PaySuck. Sadly some governments may require IDs for everything on the web. As for SL on Twitch, Twitch should allow non-adult regions on it. Roblox is more for kids while SL is more for adults.

    Trying to update some information and you can only do some on their app. I don't have a smart phone and no plans to buy one --- but I did lodge a ticket to them. If they can't help me I'm done with them. There are many other methods now that are like PP.

    The club owner that was racist to me was one where me and my man DJed at (since fired). She didn't believe racism exist when my man was telling a story of us going to the south long ago and almost getting chased out of a few places since we are a mixed couple. She said in local chat that don't happen no more and got annoyed at my man. She didn't want to believe racism is still around. I think she might be cooped in her house all day. Sadly this club been around for 14 plus years. I remember posting this in an older thread on the board regarding racism in SL.

    Same with racial stuff. Been called names, etc in world including a club owner.

    Another board I'm on uses Xenforo and it's far better then IB.

    Did you report the thread? That would alert the Mod Squad to take a look at it and take appropriate action if needed or they find it against the rules.

    And the latest --- major price increase from a forum software publisher. I mboard I help admin that place and we just got a notice the renewal is jumping a fair chunk of change and the board owner is moving to a different forum package. The software in question is the same one that is used here --- Invision and the new board we're migrating to is from XF (Xenforo).

    I've seen in some rare cases where a parcel owner will split their parcel and make a small part of it near water or a road passable and the remainder off limits. I've seen one orb pop up a message that it's owner modified saying "You are not authorised in this area. Maybe the SL gremlins pushed you here or using an old TP - you have 120 seconds to kindly move on."

    It's actually 70 groups now. Think for the last couple years. It went to 70 shortly before I fired my premie level!

    While on the DJ --- when a club says the song titles need to be turned off. My man checked a club for a DJ gig and was told that. When he said he couldn't do that due to that due to the terms of our licence, the staff person said "sorry no tltles or no gig." My man warped out.
