    Going back to the Halfatars FB uses -- I had someone come into my bar the other night and he bought his laptop in. After he got on he was showing a friend the FB "metaverse" aka Horizon Workplace. They were doing some oohs and ahhs about that halfatars and showing what they can do. Being the devious one I decided to go to the DJ booth and logged onto SL and sent the video to one of our big screens. Our barkeep told them to look at the big screen and their mouths dropped. She said one of them said "wow, they have whole bodies, that must be new!!" The Barkeep said no, it was Second Life and it's been around for about 2 decades. The guy with the laptop quietly closed his laptop.

    One peeve, logging in and finding out some of your stuff --- including some that you are wearing --- get moved to Lost & Found folder for some strange reason. Glad my house is the dumbest one on Earth. No smart crap in it.

    I was logged in yesterday and someone in a group were saying how the new machines with few exceptions were very manipulating. Someone was accusing a creator of one of them and that person said he was gonna AR any complainers of slander and stuff. Time to ban them.

    Something similar but would more be the peeve of the cable guy that came late to fix the cable drop to our house. Reason he was late was due to him pulling coax through the crawl space of a customer's house and discovering a busted sewage pipe and falling into the nasty puddle. He had to go home and clean up before coming to our appointment.

    I took a rare log in other day and at a store saw that thing. The shop owner replaced all his vendors with that and to get complete outfits cost a lot more. Greed.

    So no way to restore animations back to the avi? Or is that something you might need to lodge a ticket for.....

    One not mentioned --- someone impersonating Linden staff. I had a fresh newb approach me and said in these exact words "I'm the new accounting manager for Linden Labs and I need your credentials to verify some things." I said nope and muted and ARed him. One red flag was his use of the Lab's name. It's always Linden Lab, not Labs. Another flag is the username, like Linden07930950 or something, not Username Linden. Hopefully he was removed.

    And hopefully some ARs against them were lodged. I remember recently when I jumped in world --- one of the MM groups a creator was calling names to people that were against gachas and related ilk. I 'm sure he/she got ARed more then once. You'd think they let the dead horse lie and move on.

    Forgot to say it was another entity. If Linden Lab or Tilia started that there will be a lot of moans going on and Mods putting out fires left and right.

    On a board I'm a Mod on --- we call threads that are being monitored "PTW" which is Possible Train Wreck. Threads that fall under that are usually political, religion and other sensitive matter.

    Those "Next-up" are a cash cow for some creators who still refuse to put their stuff in a normal, everyday, tried and true vendor.
