  1. That would open up the Lab to lots of liabilities and since gachas are now against the TOS, it would not be permitted at all.
  2. I do know a few in world that have met in RL and even got married. Unlike one of those dating sites --- a couple could get to know each other real well via their avis and voice chat before meeting up for real, especially if they're not that far from each other.
  3. Looks like it changed tracks! But we probably need to get back on the gacha track before it get's secured by a Mod.
  4. Like in some other mboards --- human nature. If that thread was on Freakbook, it'd be longer then distance from Earth to Pluto or Uranus!
  5. Even the new thing is a big money grab. I already head some creators in a couple groups saying they will only use the RipVeyor to put their products and not a normal vendor.
  6. The Miepon aka RipOffPon also needs to go. Still too much like a capcha.
  7. At least a car that implodes after it's time runs out won't leave you naked in the middle of a crowded shop!
  8. I had a demo implode and then the store owner ejected me for nudity. Epic fail. I PMed the owner and all I got "Sorry you need to lodge a ticket with my bot and you have a 30 day ban for indecent exposure."
  9. Gachas fall under the loot box rule that are in effect in some areas which prohibit games of chance. I got a feeling the skill regions might be targeted next. It's not the new owners. Anything using RNG is being looked at closely by the authorities. Which also helped the case of the ban was many complaints of some creators putting their items only in gachas instead of using the old school vendor.
  10. Wow --- someone sneaked a video out of Linden Lab's HQ of them training the new engineer! "This how we fix things!"
  11. What's bad is when navigating rivers on the mainland and you drift into a parcel protected by an orb and get sent flying. If I had a water parcel I wanted protected --- I would split the water part off as a passable zone and just protect the land area.
  12. You just don't know how that slave you just purchased going to act! 🤣 He/She could be nice and want to serve you or want to whack you hard with the largest cast iron frying pan available! The slave's brain might fall under the RNG/Gacha rule!
  13. One is those laggy Lindo board and their huds. One club my man played at the owner decided to plop her Lindo in the club. Boy did everything go slower then a glacier! No one was listening to the stream and my man signed off early.
  14. When we've gone to a casino --- we take a certain amount and stick to our limits. I consider playing the slots, tables, etc as entertainment, like going to the movies or a dinner. Any winnings we get we consider a bonus. The odds are always in the house's favour.
  15. While on dances --- I remember one club had a sign saying if you weren't dancing, you might be asked to leave. I got a screen shot of it somewhere, I need to find it. Last visit to that club the sign was gone.
  16. One club I went to long ago would name those in there that hadn't tipped yet - like having the DJ name them on mic. For giggles I pulled some names from this thread and used them in my example: "Please show some Linden Love to the club. So Kimmi, Patch, Silent, So, Strawberry hasn't shared their love yet. Tip please." I PMed the DJ saying that was uncool and moments later I got ejected. When I owned my club I never asked people to tip. If they found the tip jar and tipped that was fine by me. Then again I was a one-person owned club --- No hosts or managers or dancers, etc. The person that took it over works the same way.
  17. I was told by someone I used to work with who lives in Nevada --- which had legalized gambling for some time --- plays a popular MMO and RNG type loot boxes won't show up in the games cash shop. When she stayed in California with her kid, the loot boxes were there. Guess the NV casinos don't want competition from loots.
  18. Part of the blame on some creators that got greedy and put stuff only in a gacha instead of a vendor. But all this was covered in the original gacha thread.
  19. When I ran my club --- I did it for fun and to support the performers. But due to dealing with some illness and a performer whom I caught using a prerecorded set I decided to hand things over to someone else.
