Gambling just makes it difficult for people in the moment... Letting people buy and sell them simply ruins the entire thing forever and watch half of it become an overpriced rental area owned by about 2 or 3 people who already own most of Bay City or Nautilus or Horizons... Great try though!

No it becomes another version of the hugely failed Horizons... you should never have to pay for a Linden home otherwise it's just another form of mainland... except mainland people really wants and therefore the selling price gets jacked up... go check out how much a lot in Bay City or Horizons costs... i guarantee Belli lots would be on the market for at least that much probably more since they are so coveted right now... then you tell me if selling Belli houses is a good idea

Actually it wouldnt... that would immediately be pirated by land barons finding a creative way of selling a Linden home... it would utterly ruin Bellisseria as we know it

Actually you don't... you are not required to use the 1024 of built in tier on a Linden Home... you can use that on regular mainland... And if you stick all 8 of your alts in a group and buy the land through a group now you get 1 big lot

And THIS is why you are drawing such heat... you HAD a Bellisserian home... you DISCARDED it... and now you want that to be the Linden's fault... Here is a tiny violin for you...

No she is coming at you because you HAD a Linden home but chose to give it up and STILL came here to complain. Unlike the vast majority of people here who are frustrated because they NEVER had a Linden home.

Fantastic I'll definitely join up later when I'm home... Also by making your group safe more people can see it... the way flickr is set up now you have to be logged in with an email on Flickr to view any content over safe

Just a suggestion... looked at the group and might have joined it... but with all the Flickr groups I am in the ONLY remote chance I have to remember 1 or 2 groups wants no nudity is when that group sets itself for safe photos only... when you flag as moderate it makes it confusing because flickr would ordinarily allow lite nudity on moderate... when a group Mark's themselves as safe only then when I mistakenly try to add a photo with nudity flick wont allow it provided I rated my photo correctly... My suggestion would be to choose a rating for your group that better reflects the rules you are opting for... it will save your users from having to remember 100s of different sets of rules... and it will probably save you some time in the photo moderation process.

I think a lot of people already touched on many of the great things that I see in Bellisseria from awesome homes, to greater community to interaction with Linden and Moles... I echo all of that... Something else that is positive for me is a big picture thing. This is the first time in many years where I truly have felt that Linden Labs was doing something proactive and positive for the longevity of Second Life... My Second Life is a much needed escape from reality... but it is also something that helps me to allow a part of me to blossom that I don't have the opportunity to in RL. So when all of the sudden Bellisseria comes along and injects a whole new sign of life in our beautiful world it gives me hope that SL will be here for a long time to come. So I am grateful for Bellisseria for something that it represents in the big picture for me.

The issue in question (although somehow since my first mention of it the wording has slightly changed) when the current paper came out it first had the "Julyfest" listed as the 1st event at the fairgrounds when it was technically the 2nd.

This was an approved event by the Lindens... it was a celebration of a country not of a particular party or politician. And the Lindens even provided fireworks and came and partied with us. To my knowledge we had a number of folks that came to celebrate with us from other countries including our DJ.

While you wouldn't know it from the latest edition of the Bellisserian... The FIRST event that occurred at the Bellisseria Fairgrounds was our really fun 4th of July Event. We had a fantastic event that day with some awesome music, and fireworks! But I'm definitely looking forward to some future events there and excited to see other folks starting to get events on the calendar. attached a photo of the area I helped build for it

I saw this earlier too... I really love how the Moles just keep getting better at making these little public areas... I can't wait to see what they come up with next

Why not we also take all new threads of this kind from folks who did not bother to read the million other threads of this kind and dump them into one big thread called... "Flush your great idea down the toilet here"
