Pretty sure this would not pass the smell test on the covenant... Plus you are essentially creating a system that not only creates ban lines but creates banlines the entire height of the parcel for EVERYONE who enters or lives in that region... nobody would ever be able to fly a plane again, it would essentially look like an entire region of skyscraper sized banlines... I'm just going to take a wild guess something like this would immediately trigger yet another refinement of the Linden Home covenant to prevent that sort of system.

You cannot put up general banlines that bans everyone, you CAN however ban an individual... this is a FACT

You see ban lines because they banned YOU The only way you can put ban lines out is to personally ban an individual... So if you see ban lines they banned you... If you go to the ABOUT LAND on their parcel... then click the access tab you can confirm this if your name is on the list of banned avatars

Go to the marketplace, Animals section, then under that Linden Bears... there are like 14 or 15 of them there

Dude... if you took actual photos of a person through their window in RL that would make you a CREEPER This is just the virtual version of being a CREEPER Why? Because taking a candid shot of someone through the window of their own home is CREEPY

Thank God you guys give us the ability to hide view on our parcels... And people wonder why we opt to use that option. Carry on Tommy Linden I'm sorry your privacy was trampled on by creeper

Just some constructive criticism here for the venters... As someone who originally came to the forums and decided to vent... I also took a pause to listen and actually try to learn how people were indeed coming by such scarce houses and having some success at doing it. Rather then turning your venting into a sparing match with people who have homes, you could actually listen to some of the advice... its not all that bad... For example... you do NOT have to sit around and hit F5 all day there is a handy tool on google called Auto Refresh... At first I turned up my nose to using it... then finally after some persuasion by people who had used it and found success I tried it... and yes it worked... i still had to be patient... i still had to keep that thing running for a few days but it paid off and I got a house Vent if you must... But as a former venter... maybe do some listening too... that listening may be the thing that helps you get a house.

I wanna echo this too... Second Life has been my home for 12+ years... that is LONGER then I have lived in any one RL location my whole life.... when I log into Second Life I feel like I'm home... And if it were not for these wonderful people who make this place tick i would not have my home... Thank you to ALL of our Lindens and ALL of our Moles!!! ❤️ Eva

Doubtful its landscaping if it disappears when she changes it to another house... I still think it has something to do with that particular house, perhaps a defect in that particular version of that model in that particular rezzer.

Hmmm then it does sound like it's related to that particular house, this might be something you will need to put a ticket in for. The Moles are freaking awesome about trouble shooting a problem like that and they fixed my houseboat when it was rezzing out double copies of every houseboat

Alright I had a nice discussion the other day with @Beth Macbain I'm gonna pitch this idea for a continent right here... How about an ADULT rated continent with a New Orleans theme... We could have our own french quarter and maybe some backwater type swamp houses. I can see it happening already we will have naked air boat rides... Mardigras parades in the street every day... Beads... OH the beads!!!! and River boat cruises and the *Insert Continent Name here* Alligator will likely show up on day 1 🤣

just a thought... try switching to another house type first... then switch back and see if that removes the ghost physics there

Things I'm Thankful for in Second Life * 12+ years of having a safe place to express my gender * The massive amounts of friends I have made over the years... those that stuck around... those that I miss... but especially my loving wife Bella * On opportunity to be creative whether it be with building, creating a new interesting land, or doing beautiful photography * STRESS RELIEF... OMG my RL would suck far worse then it already does if I did not have Second Life to relieve my stress... THANK YOU Second Life and Linden Labs * ADULT fun... do I need to elaborate? * I get to be the Bellisseria Squirrel how cool is that!!! * Inexpensive entertainment... yes I said INEXPENSIVE... think how much more you would spend in RL if you went to a club every single night or bought 10 outfits a day or bought 5 cars and a yacht... My virtual entertainment is cost effective for the amount of happiness I personally get out of it. * Live Music... it never ceases to amaze me the talents of other people in SL and what they share with us here... So there it is... I can probably think of a lot more then that. I have been part of so many things over the years... even got to meet one of my favorite real life authors and one of my favorite real life musicians in Second Life... just SOOO much going on here...
