There are Karaoke bars in SL, but you need to have your own music stream since the music stream and voice chat are sometimes out of sync.  And they are fun.

It is originally a classical piece John Cage wrote for piano.
Several world famous pianists have recorded and played this work life on stage in music halls in the past.
I like the way these guys arranged it for a death metal performance. And life, mind you!!!

I never used the voice morpher SL offers but I think it might pair well with a commercial karaoke / DJ system SL could offer? Prolly be trippy with the Philip Rosedale sound technology with multiple singers at the same time at different distances of venue.
