I was getting that vibe too, pretty cool having a mainland membership, seems like there will be people making tickets I can't my home. Well well you can't get a home unless you pay more! Brilliant plan. This is apparently mainly for existing customers not new. I seriously feel sorry for the billing and care department, they have to put up with this bs.

Someone who can't place a mesh sofa in their home is expected to search for this and then attempting to try to understand how to get to the about land and release property and then cancel annual subscription after 1 day of frustration be billed for a year and when they click the cancel subscription for the next year it glitches out and continues to bill at 1 time annual rate. Yah that seems ethical to me.

I don't know what department is in charge but they need serious QA and Legal review and approval process. I only took a few business law classes and i'm pretty sure this is a liability.

I can understand the difference, I always try to put myself in the position of someone who has zero experience with second life, with all thing mentioned here, and then realize after I get to my free house I don't actually get a free house I get to use a free house for however long my membership is and then have to give it back. It makes SL LL look slimy non professional non transparent liers misleaders. Because our motto is you're likely not going to stick around long enough to understand how to use it and quit while we continue to bill you for it until you die because we know how to take advantage of elders.

true, but in the end it's not free because someone has to pay for it. the * could be like *free if someone gifts it to you but must return after the gift period, or be responsible for maintaining the payments on the free linden home land usage blah. *free as long as your preimum membership payment clears our bank. I'm going to borrow the screen shot too. Getting a "free linden home" makes it sound like users are getting a free linden home to keep in their inventory to rez where they wish. would prolly stick a *next to that and provide clarity or change it to access to linden home or something other than free.

If I get plus will that be like a sub preimum type account and I could get a 512 linden home for 65.99$USD* per year? More resources need to be allocated to making premium memebership/subscription and land ownership easier to understand and less frustrating. If membership and addons require a knowledge base it's bad.

The hyperline would usually look like Monthly Land Use Fee* with a link to the information, not a link to the preimum membership knowledge base page. Seriously...

I'm confused as usual. This appears to be not geared to helping new users understand the pricing. +=+ ? Way too many plus imo. Most people are in the process of cancelling all the plus services maybe wise to come up with something more original and easy to understand vs what's currently trending. If I want to own my dream mainland parcel which is under 1000 m2 for 225,000L/approx 936.00USD I would have to get premium membership @ best value 99.00 per year. which gives me 1024 worth of "ability to use land" I purchased for 936.00USD thinking I owned it but I can not use it without this membership/subscription to second life, the land I purchase in world would be useless without membership/subscription. Assuming If I do not pay my membership I lose the land I paid directly for / be locked out of my second life account until I can afford to deal with land I see no need of having anyways so if I want to keep my account I have to sell the land I thought I owned? And say I wanted to add on the "plus" without going "premium plus" it would an extra: @ best value 65.99 per year gets me 12,500L (currently valued @ approx $55.30USD) If I desired to have the additional 512 parcel size of land and 50 groups would be some value there I suppose. Unsure if the + is an add on to premium or if users have to have premium plus to add the plus.... I don't use groups and would rather pay for my L when I need it. The graph below is almost useless to me because I do not see what the prices used to be on it or normal preimum membership ( which is a required prerequisite ) I'm not seeing the entire picture when it comes to value. If a region has 40 people on it and a troll blocks 39 people the 40th person is a new user, totally clueless of virtual street smarts, and the troll starts just talking crazy in local chat to drive away new people would that be be worth enabling? I try not to block anyone because, if I do I can't see them but they can see me and troll my avatar, maybe put adult stuff on it and report me for adult content in a G region. I'm pretty sure there are ways of users to know if they have been blocked, I don't go there. I've learned to ignore, it's more powerful than any block button.

This would not work if the UI was changed in preferences, when I changed mine I just remember I could not see any menu options everything was funked up. I'm pretty sure I installed the second life program again to fix it. It might have even goofed up my login screen, not sure if accessing preferences from there would be possible either. I know never mess with the UI settings because they do not auto revert after so many seconds, once it's messed up it stayed messed up and could not click any thing because there was nothing to click. There should be a pop up after change, are you sure you want to keep this UI setting? vs if that is the problem. Hello, You're looking for a manual for how to change the size of your text also known as UI. Which viewer are you using? Instructions differ from viewer to viewer. I remember one time I was goofing with the preference settings and I could not figure out how to fix it, I understand how frustrating it is having everything go poof and how upsetting it can be trying to find answers, nothing in this world is ever simple. I can not locate instructions or anything UI related in the knowledge base, hmm I think when this happened to me I had to uninstall the viewer and reinstall it. You may be able to install the program again and it will install over the messed up program, without uninstalling it. If you need more help please let us know.

Well, there will be mirrors at some point using Screen Space Reflections (those are currently worked on. Probably in the next GLTF viewer build). Mirrors with just cube maps do look OK for static things, but due to their low resolution, somewhat blurry and scewed if the probe isn't perfectly cubic. Neat, so if the cube/manual reflection probe is not a perfect cube shape it will stretch the PBR resulting in sort of a carnival mirror look. Sometimes blurry stuff looks cool, Be interesting to experiement with different manual reflection probe shapes, if that is even possible, or wonders if that is only going to be a feature that cube will unlock. Wondering what happens when a large group of people are in a social setting outdoors with their reflective clothing and accessories and then someone comes along with a warped reflection probe attached to their avatar. Is ARing reflection probes going to be a thing of the future? Is there a reflection probe priorty? Like if outdoors use the over ride manual reflection probes. Same with inside if someone is throwing an event with manual reflection probes can an avatar wear a manual warped reflection probe in the same place?
