One of my biggest pet peeves of today (9-12-2020):

Since I work in the fast food/retail industry, I will say that some people are hella rude towards us workers. If people are just not one bit considerate towards the workers (such as myself), it kinda ticks me off cause people just do not seem to have the common kindness that they should.

Like many others, a wall of text (where the poster seems to forget what a paragraph break is) can be difficult to read.

Worse is when that wall of text doesn't even have much in the way of proper capitalization or punctuation marks.  It does not take me very many words into that type of posting for me to just skip it all.

Agreed in some circumstances. If people are just typing short sentences and don't want complete proper capitalization or marks, I get that.

Common kindness in general seems to have gone by the wayside for many over the last decade or so....... at least here in the US, IMO.

Along this line, I also never understood people that would take a cooking problem out on the waiter/waitress at a restaurant.  The server is not the one that messed up the cooking of the food.  One should not take that out on the server, nor should one reduce their tip for the server based on the cooking of the meal.

Scyll, you'll laugh at me, but I was actually trying to read the Latin. I took it in highschool for three years, but so much is gone, I can't make sense of it anymore!!! Or were these random words.? I couldn't pick up on an actual sentence..

They are real words, but the text is mostly gibberish. I grabbed it from a Lorem Ipsem generator. Lorem ipsem was originally a passage of prose from an obscure work by Cicero that was used as "dummy text" by printers trying to determine, among other things, how much text would fit onto a page, formatting, how to lay out a book and its gatherings for printing, and so on. It's still used today.

I knew they were real words, but I couldn't follow any sort of meaning in a sentence. And it makes me feel better knowing that there was no meaning in random words. I haven't forgotten as much as I thought!!!

Hungarian translations also show up as total nonsense. So I don't trust google translator very much. Both English and Hungarian were my first languages. i do understand your point though. There is always some sort of continuity.

Well, when I am translating a post here on the forums, I typically paste the foreign text into a couple of translators to give me the best chance of understanding it.  A majority of the time, Google does as well as any other translator.

In this case, she truly did type nonsense, so that is what translated.

I think Lorem Ipsum was my Latin teacher in my senior year in high school.  He had us translate all sorts of useful text into Latin as entries for a regional Latin Club contest (yes, there were such things when I was in high school) .  I could have used a generator like that, if it had been available at the time.  The result would have been an improvement on my recipe for a Caesar salad, which did not win a prize.
