  1. Ditto, I noticed it on the map just yesterday afternoon. On the world map it looks like the original Torley Forums Avatar (the watermelon color circles). ~Sighs~ I miss Torley, He was SO POSITIVE and upbeat. A shining light amidst all the toxic SL angst in-world these days.
  2. Definitely will have to visit. SL-Leica in-hand and at the ready, thank you for sharing this!
  3. I believe it shows as being "online" for about five or, maybe ten minutes after any activity like posting, changing pages, etc. Also, if you notice in anyone's profile, it will tell you which thread they're "looking at right now" - which also will have a time-delay on it until you either change threads or the timer cooks-oof.
  4. Agreed. My own "risk threshold" is L$50 - and I have to admit I am surprised that about 30-40% of those risks were really good ones. That's when I recommend to the creator ro create a demo because they'd make more sales (as opposed to a low-quality item that would likely decrease sales).
  5. This is how people absolutely create drama: they take their own meaning of what someone else says rather than reading and failing to *comprehend* the meaning as written. You are twisting the meaning of what the OP wrote. The OP never said "she wants a single mesh body" as you wrongly state that she says. Then you insert your unfounded, ridiculous prediction: "that she will be back here suggesting..." Well, cowboy here's a pro-tip: passive-aggressiveness speaks volumes about you. Hahahaha. Your cute little quip in the "date night locations" thread wreaks of conceit as well. But, I digress. You have my permission to plonk me in whatever quippy reply you can conjure up. I'll not waste my time in recursive discussion or debate on it as I have very clearly made my point. ~Blows a sharp kiss~
  6. On most mesh bodies, including Belleza (I have the full pack since before the separated them) - when boobs pop through clothing you have to make the boobs *larger* not smaller in order to get the clothing to cover them. I know it's counter-intuitive, but what it really happening is that the creators did not rig the breast area properly; they made it either not influenced enough in weight-painting, or simply got sloppy. No matter which mesh body you use, my sincerest, highest recommendation is always: Never, EVER purchase anything from any creator (no matter how great their previous stuff is) without a demo. Try that demo and scrutinize it thoroughly first. Test it with your wildest-movement AO. When you find a consistently "great-fit" creator, stick with them (and ALWAYS grab demos first), if you find a creator that is 50/50% or less consistent: cut your losses of time and frustration and move on.
  7. You give the impression you haven't been around long or out very much. Long before mesh and except for the first few minutes after creating your account and logging in: face and body sliders allowed you to look very different from anyone else in SL. As for the poseballs/dancepads (and dance poles) in music venues? Based on what I always see: most people don't have a clue there is such a thing as a personal dance HUD. LOL @OP Really good point about that. *any* animation that does both body and face is epic-fail for exactly the reasons you state.
  8. Yes, yes - I sail (or motorboat) there a lot, fly, too. Your map did show up - the train I purchased also have that HUD (or one like it) that shows all tracks of the SLRR line and even with names of each stop. Though it just shows (in red lines, like yours) the RR tracks. Roads are easy to spot on the world map, etc. I was just with the impression there also is some kind of "trail" there, too. (I live in the U.S. Northwest, and we do have miles-long "public nature trails" here). Oh, and your maps are showing up (I remove them from quoting to make my post more efficient and easier to read) - though they aren't really large enough to look that closely at. Though I can use the SLRR HUD and World Map to get the idea when I get in world again.
  9. Hey, that is a really pretty head (hair, too). Is that 'tribal' mark removable, etc? (if not then it's an odd, but fascinating look to see a (appears to be) Native American face with eyeliner rockin' along LOL)
  10. Other than shopping, I've just recently "discovered" this oldest of all SL continents. And going for a train ride is another fun activity (I just bought myself a train for GTFO) - and it's great because you just set the speed and let it go while you chat away while sight-seeing. As for this 'trail' that @Ceka Cianci mentions: I'm not familiar (some kind of general SLURL or "Places" search words would be helpful.)
  11. Yes, yes, this. 'Tis why I don't do the deep relationship thing. But if you just stay close friends then a booty-call isn't out of the question when the mood strikes and no one ever has hard feelings after. ~cough, cough, wink, wink~
  12. Not only hyperlinks, but also avatar and place profiles; landmarks. For landmarks, just place the SLURL there. For an avatar profile, click the "gear" icon and choose "Copy URI" and paste that. Though keep in mind that the longer the hyperlink, the worse because all those characters count against your character limit, so you may want to use an URL shortener.
  13. I do believe this ability is now built-into most, if not all viewers, including LL viewer. Catznip uses this exact interface with the same services.

    Mrs, Sir

I've been a Firestorm user since it was Phoenix and before that: Emerald. But these days I've been having issues with it also. Though I've recently made the switch to Catzip and love it, much better performance (for me) and far better features (because shopping and inventory stuffs). I would recommend that you try other viewers, including the official LL viewer, just to see if it's actually a viewer problem or something going awry on your computer. Start here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory (I very-highly recommend you give Catznip a go. Everyone I've talked to say they immediately notice a performance boost, though it's interface is very much like the LL viewer and it may or may not meet your tastes.) If you still have similar issues that you are experiencing in Firestorm, then you may need to look into computer maintenance or clean-up.
  15. RAR is a common compression format used by "warez pirates". That it comes packaged in RAR format is enough that I won't touch it, myself. The third-party viewers page also places a "caution" on the listing for Black Dragon that it does not give accurate ARC score ("misleading" - LL's words,) either intentionally or not.
  16. Force TP doesn't matter. Only "Mastah" can dress me" doesn't matter. "My inventory is blocked" doesn't matter. No matter how much control one gives to another and no matter how restrictive RLV can be, no one and no gadget or tool, or RLV has any control over huds, other than locking them in place. I'm willing to bet a dime to a dollar the OP is wearing a mesh body. Most mesh bodies that I'm aware of have this nifty little feature they call "Alpha". If the rules are about "showing genitalia" it's only a couple clicks to turn that genitalia off entirely.
  17. Not really if you always err on the safer side. Was I in that situation (and I have been a few times before) - when contacted I always apologize and ask for a moment to comply (though I use an outfit manager so it's easier and faster for me now). It never hurts to be polite or, at the very least, indifferent or stoic without a word other than acknowledgment then compliance. After all, they had the courtesy to contact her and give the opportunity to correct herself to be in-line with their rules. That's better than the (hopefully rare) ones who eject first and IM later. I always try to be on my "best behavior" when entering a sim (by any means) that I am not immediately familiar with. Then look around. If there are others there ask yourself "How are they dressed, acting, etc.". because when in Rome....
  18. I suspected the other side of the story was along these lines. I find it amazing how people are 'wronged' and then come post about it and always frame the story to make themselves into some kind of victim. Except for unprovoked physical harm, all "victims" are whiners, the way I see it. You can be the victim hoping for sympathy (which doesn't do anything for you, by the way, about as much as any apology does) OR you can chalk it up to experience, which is what you got when you didn't get what you wanted. To which I can only say is: If you're a "victim" in SL of ANYTHING, then MAN-THE-F*C*-UP and move-on. (Yes, you ladies, too). Bahahaha /me breaks out her micro-violin and begins playing the ever-popular "Boo-hoo for Snowflakes" theme song.
  19. There always are two sides to every story and you're describing only one of them. Even with all the perpetual angst in SL, most people don;t go berating others unless they feel (rightly or wrongly) that they have a reason. With that said, you've already done about all you can do: file an AR. Good luck with that.
  20. Actually, they didn't because you have stated several times "why would I spend {that much money} for no reason?" - which says you wouldn't have spent that much. Which means it's not lost to LL because it wasn't going to be there in the first place. You also should look at the LindeX activity. Tens of thousands (RL U.S. $) a day is common. Not sure they'd notice your withheld couple thousand a year. Things that make you go "Hmmm".
  21. Agreed. Now let's make it simple for those who still don't understand: "It are it betterz fo all now."
  22. No worries. Though you should understand other apps may break also, not just Second Life Viewer. And every time they update the beta (every three or four days) you really *NEED* to update it. Good luck with it. I'm looking forward to the release of that version also. @Klytyna Your comment is mostly spot-on, though your sarcastic way of using (what you apparently suppose is) an insulting word in place of the company name totally un-validates everything you say as fact and turns into nothing more than "angry opinion". //JustSaying.
  23. No, my point is that it is beta, so you should *expect* things to break. What you are reporting should be reported to Apple, not Linden Lab since Lind Lab cannot do anything about it at this point.
  24. You describe this one perfectly: "Super Sweet", L$600, Daiz Papp. 57 Bento Animations, 60-second stands, sits, and ground-sits. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/AX-046-Super-Sweet-AO-Bento/7440699
  25. I recommend trying another viewer. Have you tried with the LL Viewer to see if the same is happening? Catznip is an excellent alternative to Firestorm. (http://catznip.com/)
