.. to have a personal flag where it is possible to not have to wade through vast walls of text from previously quoted text in the form of he said (oh tab == enter i see then he said then he said ad infinitum....) ..so it is possible to see a response with out a wall of (repeated) text. With the link back to the original post I don't see the point of multiple re posts. Or failing that a limit (possibly a line?) sorry. I refuse to believe I am the only one capable of following a link back. Or is that not possible in this format?

Are you sure you didn't import an XML model? Not sure what the various viewers call the process but if you do then all textures/sculpt maps will import as new (and be 10L a pop) and will have UUID/keys as names (its because you mentioned them all being letterd and nubers - like this? 80000507-de00-0018-b000-1e0862670000 )

Quick response, as it can't use channel 0 (public channel) its not open for the usual local spam..... Apart from that, its really to talk to script listeners so the usual play nice on resources I guess and don't throttle out debug channel? I can see a way to try to get response from scripts but scanners use the other forms already so all thats changed is range. If you want to be a bit cleaner use the llRegionSayTo variant

Yes I would follow Tari Landars advice. I was also happy to see that your second post was taken away - the one that still showed your email address? I know you blanked out the body of it but... I forget the quote but something about vigilance. Its actually applicable in our day to day activities in any case. -
We already have the ability to show a combination of real log in account or display name. Or neither I think...

I have now completed your survey a total of 37 times (+/- 3.2 for sampling error) in various previously requested formats. Is that enough data or shall I make up some more?

Why do some houses suffer from gigantism?

Yes. Indeed. It was the use of 'gigantism' I was referring too. -
Why do some houses suffer from gigantism?

As SL is a place where all can express themselves then yes some times others tastes can seem odd. As SL is also a world where all can shape their world then yes - they do. Others sense or comfort with size may not suit yours. And as always - you can modify what you take (within creators wishes) or make your own. Because of that - passing judgement on preferred personal environment is - odd. After all, some one elses ideas of comfort do not have to match yours do they =^^= ETA from wikipedia ... Gigantism, also known as giantism (from Greek γίγας gigas, "giant", plural γίγαντες gigantes), is a condition characterized by excessive growth and height significantly above average. In humans, this condition is caused by over-production of growth hormone[1] in childhood resulting in persons between 2.13 m (7 feet or 84 inches) and 2.74 m (9 feet or 108 inches) in height. Feel free to relate this to a virtual environment. It should be fun. -
Tricky this - who is your market, what is your genre, what do you want to make? For any full stuff I did in the past I asked whoever wanted and built to that. For me personally I scale to whatever I might be when I wish to use it (anywhere from my base approx 1m95 to my rl 1 m.something smaller =^^= to if I am in full erm ship size). For all else (and its mostly not absolute size dependant) I make it mod. Customer can tweak as they wish.

How do I find out my total dollars spent since starting SL?
mikka Luik replied to Segue007 Abbot's question in Account
Can you define invested? Your L$ spend is available in many places - how you bought is your problem? -
When is LL going to realize how to improve SL?
mikka Luik replied to Dominic Damiano's topic in General Discussion Forum

Odd really. Only posted to say yay Science as it cheered me up. If I have to justify it costing me lets see.. a pack of smokes a week for ten years then I still say yay Science and yay Future and.. and ... but hey it was just me i suppose. Sorry my meagre EU individual contribution is seen as a waste of funds that could have been better spent. Next time I will buy a lotto ticket eh? And finance my own astonishing ... whatever.

Same as ever. Cold start on machine, fired up sing, logged to erm another place, out, logged back inworld to pay a bill, out, fired up firefox and opened forum, read this, signed in to check transactions (dashboard?) opened tab to MP, checked listings..and came back and answered this. So LL wise only signed in once and my box is set to not ever remember anything...which is why i have my trusty pen and pad nearby.
