When my man DJs, he just enjoy spinning the tunes, didn't care for how many L$ he got. Many DJs do think they're prima donnas.

My man does the same although when he does, he's already playing in our RL bar and just turns on the encoders and logs his avi in. He loves to share too since at the bar we have a server with a few hundred thousand tunes.

When I had mine --- it was for live music and operating on Mondays only. No gimmicks, just a place to listen to live music.

I've seen it sometimes. When I had my club, I didn't worry about as I ran it for fun. I had seen one club have a tip jar that would name avatars that didn't tip yet about every 20 minutes. I put that place on my crap list.

Think my man's avatar has less then 3000 in the inventory. There are those I encountered that had over 200k in their storage. I think I have about 15k. Recently I turfed any items named "object" and when I build, I usually keep the last version of whatever I'm building and chuck the rest.

We have a couple of ThinkPads and those are very durable machines. Had one for 8 years with no issues. Plus we have a docking station for it hooked to a dual monitor setup and external SSD drive.

The railway mboard my man is an admin on has people posting IBTL when for example one thread about the Union Pacific Big Boy being pushed by a diesel and turns into political trolling. And he then slaps a lock on it!

Getting a "Your operating system is not supported" message. Got that on a couple of websites.

I remember recently helping someone at the bus lot with her computer. She didn't have much of a clue since she only operated a phone. When the supervisor asked me later if I figured out the issue, I said it was an ID 10. He looked at me funny although the head manager busted a gut. He used to be an IT person.

Ditto. And we get told a few times our bar is not "instantgramable" or something like that. It's classic 60s interior and was like that when we bought the place a few years back and will stay like that.
