    Last time I visited a skill gaming area, I set aside 50$L and once that was gone --- I was gone! I played mainly for entertainment, not to win big. The odds are always in the house's favour.

    I believe that stuff could be done internally without being displayed on the profiles. If a land owner sets up the PIOF and/or PIU, the system will permit that avi to proceed.

    I wish they would remove it. Serves no purpose. That box should be change to only indicate if the avatar is a Linden Staff or Resident. Nothing else.

    Set your security orb to allow at least 30 seconds or more to get your rear out of your land. Don't set your store where only those in the group can enter. I have actually ran into that. If you're new in world and still learning to walk, etc and plowing into things ask for help. Most will assist new people onboarding.

    Peeve: Someone getting mad at me for having very little in my profile. I wiped most of it when I gave up my clubs and cut my in world time to almost zilch.

    I've been married since I was 18 to my childhood sweetheart! Over 4 decades. But my daughter recently got married and she just hit 40. Never too late to get hitched!

    Those were high tech in my day. Yet we didn't have to worry about them crash and burn unless you ripped off the film! I see some young generation thinking "I can't control those from my phone."

    When I closed a group last year I shot off notice that I was nuking it in one 1 week and one more before tossing everyone. Anyone that PMed me I told them I turfed the group.

    There's a performer in world that his manager ejects people that don't go to his shows anymore. You think they want more to be in it. It's also the same performer that bugged me many times to play in my club and even got pushy. I just kept turning him down since he does karaoke or plays mp3s.

    That takes me to a peeve for a friend who joined SL. She went to a freebie place to get some stuff and someone somehow took control of her avi and she can't seem to break from it.

    When I stayed at my sister's house a few times --- her man in the early morning would sing "Gooooood Morning! Goood Morning! It's a beautiful day! I wanted to PK him so fast! haha

    I encountered that from some stupid DJ that scraped some music group list and send unwanted PMs. When I PMed him, he told me something not suitable for posting on this board. Actually happened twice --- also the PMed spam from some creator who made threats to those who spoke against gachas awhile back.

    My man played a game called Rappelz for about 6 months and that game is definitely P2W. It has more bugs then a hotel room in North Korea and he said recently some stuff in it's game store went up. Guess the whales there still buying like crazy.

    I think there's an option on the IPB platform which this board runs on to auto close threads after a certain time to avoid necros like this.

    The first paragraph of that article cracked me up... The metaverse is here! Listen to Mark Zuckerberg long enough and you'd be convinced we're about to embark on a bold, new virtual frontier—an unexplored realm of digital avatars wearing garish NFT sneakers, holding business meetings on the surface of the moon using AR glasses. Doesn't Freakbook use "Half-a-tars?" No where to put the sneakers unless they do what SL did in the early days --- installed into the bum!

    Me and my man did retire and moved up here to a small town of 30k. We got bored of retirement --- bought a bar!
