    That's my peeve --- the stupid phone (I know, wrong thread for peeves). In our house when we do dinners or such we ask for those to leave phones in the other room.     Many clothes in SL shops which we would never wear in RL --- and not easy to find "normal" type clothes in SL!

    Although the province hasn't required a total shutdown again --- We're only doing take-away to protect our staff. Peeve. Alexa. My daughter got one of those spy speakers and using the thing like mad, although she's aware some commands to it is used by it's maker for tweaking purpose. My man does like to torture the thing but asking it to plat flatulence noises. Hopefully it'll get her to toss it.

    As someone told me at my bar --- best thing for a NFT is to take it out back and shoot it. He overheard a group (probably millennials) chatting about NFTs and how a couple of them were selling them. One of them was complaining to one of the barkeeps on why we don't accept crypto. It's cash and carry baby. We take the cash --- you carry the booze!

    Speaking of land --- the person who bought my club was selling a small parcel in one of the original regions that was there when SL opened to the public and some land baron tried to talk her down. She refused and a few days later the same baron bought it and put it back up for sale for almost twice the cost.

    And sometimes a club will put out a Lindo camping thing. Those dumb things causes big time lag as the huds for them are poorly scripted.

    Maybe because I was in a group chat and saw someone (who unchecked me) talking with others. When I typed in it I was going to relog since I think the client was glitching and someone wasn't appearing online to me when he is alive in the group chat, he said "I meant to block you *****." So I unfriended him.

    Singularity has a 2nd set of columns indicating if the person in your friend's list has you blocked or not. When I see that --- I'll relog to make sure it's not a glitch. If their box is still unticked, I remove them from the friend's list.

    Sadly many live on Freakbook. If anyone every watched The Social Dilemma on NetFlix, they talk about how FB minipulates people and ways to keep them hooked, line and sinker. Think I'm one of 23 that never did FreakBook and never will.

    That got me thinking. Maybe new names that are named after technical screw ups. Such as: Borked Crash Difficulties Error Failure Frozen Fubar <-- That would be a big seller! Glitch Hitch Lag Malfunction Problem I could think of some others --- but my brain is getting borked!

    There's a casino in our town that has a program that if you have gambling issue you can ask them to restrict you from the facility. It's called "Self-exclusion." Some information about it here: https://casinomoosejaw.com/gamesense/voluntary-self-exclusion This probably could be done in SL too.

    Last time I visited a skill gaming area, I set aside 50$L and once that was gone --- I was gone! I played mainly for entertainment, not to win big. The odds are always in the house's favour.
