    A necro is a thread that's been here since the ice age. I think 30 days or less is fine. Another annoying thing which causes a lot of lag is clubs using those stupid Lindo kiosks. Those are basically campers and the people surrounding them never tip anything in the club.

    Before I migrated to a mesh body --- I had someone ask what body I had. Told them it was a system one but it was dressed up. They went "wow." That was a PM.

    With the mesh SL avis have come a long way. The half-a-tars on Freakbook are totally cartoons.

    One of the patrons in our RL bar had that happened when he was in his early 20s. He was telling his story on how he met his longtime partner. He was sitting in the park zoning out and didn't realize he was staring at guy on the bench across from him. When the guy bought it up he thought he was going to get pounced on. Instead something clicked and they started chatting. But in SL, it is weird to get in a huff since it was a cartoon being looked at.

    And there was one venue I went to long ago had a hostest would PM people that was in her club if they hadn't tipped and also put it in local chat saying "So far avi101 Resident, avi102 Resident, and so on" hasn't tipped us tonight. Let's encourage them as we need that Linden love!" When she PMed me I told her that sounded like someone on a street corner begging and was promptly banned. Glad to say that place is gone. Another place I avoid is a long time running club who would PM you if you weren't dancing and would sometimes eject you. I went there a few times and once I got told "you need to dance or be removed, we want a lively experience here" and then got ejected, I never returned. Aren't clubs supposed to be fun --- not to toss people? Shocking that club is still around though.

    Some mboards make a person wait 24 hours to 3 days before they can post. And one board I'm on --- a new member first 15 posts are moderated before they have free reign.

    Another Peeve: When I drove transit coaches long ago --- I hate when I relieved another operator and found out he hit a skunk shortly before, resulting in a stinky bus! I had to radio in for a coach exchange and let some poor person from the bus lot deal with it!

    I dealt with influencers coming into my bar. Wanting free drinks to promote the bar, etc. I told them take a hike. They're shocked when we tell them we avoid social-media and such.

    It's bad enough in world when some clubs or people spawn flashing crap on the screen. Don't know how many times I had to bail due to that.

    Maybe report the link in a review or PM the owner in world? As for shopping --- I rarely go as a couple times I went to a shop to see a pretty dress I was interested in (via a notice in one of the groups) only to find out it's in one of those stupid conveyor systems and it's # is not even visible yet. Miepon or something I think.

    Me and my man was exposed to Covid a couple times --- once from a doctor's office and another not sure where. I had no symptoms and my man felt like he had a bad cold. I think it's in one DNA if they get it full blown or skate by it. One of my cousins who live in a rural area and hadn't gone to town got it. She thinks she got it when a neighbour in the house 40 metres away had a big party and was windy going in her direction. Possible the Covid hitched a ride.

    I just log off when I feel like it --- no matter where the avi is parked. But recently I've parking her on a sky platform on a friend's parcel when logging.

    Another one, #284: A mboard I'm on that helps people with diabetes (my man has that) is when you hit the Submit button --- you get a plop-up saying "Share with Freakbook" which I find annoying. I did send a PM to one of the admins about that told them not everyone does FB, the reply was like "we thought everyone is on there."
