  1. Try pressing the "Nearby Chat" button. That should get it back.
  2. There was that roleplay in 18th century france. *goes looking for it*
  3. There is a cost. You need to pay the lab US$9.95 to recover a deleted account. Additionally, depending on how long it was disabled, and the phase of the moon, some of the inventory might be missing. This account I am using is a previously deleted account. I was lucky, nothing was lost.
  4. Well, after his studies are up he could enjoy being an SL dominant and having a bevy of submissives. He'd likely make an better dom then many of the SL-Dumbinants about. But, he'd need to be collared first to learn it. Now that would be interesting. heh.
  5. Did you look at your statistics panel at the number of scripts running? If you have a pile of people, they will bring in a pile of scripts. The more scripts the less events can be run. This means contest boards will lag. A lot of people wearing collars or not removing their unneeded HUDS can really bog a region down. There are a few ways to deal with that. If the club is on a staff-only group, and on ground level, then turn off non-group scripts. You can also have a script meter hidden somewhere and have your officers discuss trimming people down in IM. It might not be all of it, but it's a good start.
  6. You shouldn't put too much faith in the MBTI. It's a bit of populust psychobable that sells well in magazines aimed at teenagers. One of it's biggest failures is that the MBTI tries to pigeon hole people bases on a rigid set of Jungian stereotypes, when people's traits are - in fact - a wide spectrum. Take the first letter; I/E... the MBTI only sees someone as an Extrovert or an Introvert, a simple binary choice, when in fact there is a whole rainbow of greys between the two extremes. Use it for self-reflection - especially to quell some of your clearly obvious narcisistic thoughts - but don't put too much weight in it.
  7. It's fun to talk about. I love the planning stage. I love the building stage. After a month or two, the finished product - to me - is ripe to be swept away, like a mandala. So, I often delete, or pack it away in a builder box to start the next. When I do a new sim-wide layout, I flesh out the entire design in huge primary coloured prims, almost a freehand sketch. I've found it helps with scale - but that could be because I have a real disconnect between scale in Blender and scale in the region as I see it when I walk around. I find it's good to also get the terrain roughly done at that point. When it's almost finalised, terrain can be exported as a raw, run through pimstar and seen in Blender too. Depending on what I am then trying to do, often I will then import the huge prims into Blender and use them as placeholders to mark position and scale for the mesh I make. As I do each piece I finesse it on the beta grid, then import it into the region properly.
  8. Don't forget you can buy directly from the Lab, delivery is within a few minutes. https://land.secondlife.com/en-US/private-regions.php Cost is US$349, which includes the first months teir, US$249 each month after that. So a setup cost of US$100. You can pick up secondhand regions on the forums and in some groups in world, but be aware there is a transfer fee to be paid in all cases of US$100 for a non-grandfather and US$600 for a grandfather. Grandfather regions have a cheaper ongoing monthly fee (US$195) but they are only available second hand.
  9. SMB Tweenster Toddledoo and many others
  10. I know there is one bot army travelling around mainland gathering up all the abandoned parcels (likely so the owner can put in a ticket for the best of them, and make money). These don't need to rotate and can be rather fast. There is also a fairly sneaky one within the Gay community that visits all the common hangout places to see "who is where" at any one time. These also don't need to rotate and can be quite fast. There is also one that travels around the blake sea a lot that does rotate as it scans all the objects in the region. I have a feeling these are some sort of license/copyright validation bot, looking for copybotted objects. (but that's just my own imagination as to what they are looking for) - They might also be some form of CoastGuard bot looking for crashed boats I guess, or even a copybot bot that "archives" everything.
  11. I know the creative process well. I have sat for months with a project half done waiting for the inspiration, then it appears with the most unlikely connection. It's worth it.
  12. It was only 1.5 inches too. But this makes sense based on his personality
  13. Not nervous the first time. My first was in 2007, and I've had them ever since.
  14. Glad you found a solution. I will mention this so it helps others who stumble over the thread in the next 10 years. While it is limited to only 7 languages, which means no Portuguese, Deepl is free to use. It's biggest advantage at the moment is the quality of translation is better then what pops out of Google or Bing. Still laughable compared to a fluent speaker, but if you are not fluent and don't mind copy/paste it's a good solution.
  15. HPMD has 2 awesome huge rabbits. Sittable too. or do you want animals that have been stuffed with rabbits?
  16. There are a few people who roleplay counselling. Largely they will be laypeople, unqualified and little better then talking to a stranger on the street. I believe there would be substantial issues around professional indemnity for anyone to offer genuine medical advice inside Second Life, especially in such an international setting. If you are seeking a roleplay psychologist then the roleplay forums would be a better place to ask as they do come and go. Search in world will bring up a few if anyone is roleplaying a clinic right now.
  17. User Rank. By default 1 dot = 0 posts to 10 posts, 2 dots = 10 posts to 30 posts, 3 dots = 31+ posts. Not sure about the levels the Lab have set them. https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/how-to-use-ips-community-suite/member-preferences-and-features/user-ranks-r246/
