  1. Are they African Seagulls or European Seagulls?
  2. The rotatiopn is done with llSetTargetOmega. This is a viewer side effect. Each time you log in the seagulls will move to their starting position. To fix this, select each object and change the Z rotation. I'd suggest 120 degrees, 240 degrees, and 0 - so that they are evenly spaced.
  3. And one thing OP, you don't get to change your "display name" at 500 posts. With all my posts, it's still locked. What you can change is the text under your name; your's is currently "Resident", that will grow to advanced member, then at 500 unlock fo something freeform.
  4. This account is June 14, 2007. As that's before 2010 I get a last name. Your account is 7 July 2017, compare this to your join date. As 2017 is after 2010, you don't get a last name. Although the lab will soon allow people to buy them.
  5. ^ sorry, that view of the world is a bit Naïve. While it might clearly be seen as the grid's Lingua Franca, I'm not sure that English is the main language. There are a huge number of people who speak Spanish/Potuguese, an even larger number of people who speak German, and quite a sizable community of Japanese speakers. As for language dictating the look, nope. Not even in the slightest. You will find that more likely to be the preferences and abilities of those who make the skins. Nothing to do with language.
  6. We don't have display names, these are our account names. Those with space - like me - are "entitled lastnamers", so people who joined prior to 2010.
  7. You can also just paste in the link to the .gif and the forums will display it inline. But when doing that make sure you click the share button, then the direct link line, select gif and copy the link. Pasting the main page won't work. This requires you keep the original up forever so people can still see it in 10 years. (It also take a moment for it to appear.)
  8. A lovely photo and a good collection of kitties too!
  9. Copyright. They would need to pay MS for a license to use their intellectual property. At a few cents a copy it could cost millions of dollars.
  10. You can choose a few shapes. This is safe to look at and shows the choices: https://land.secondlife.com/en-US/private-regions.php
  11. For some even funnier ones watch Trump's twists and turns after the UN laughs *at* him.
  12. You describe the heterosexual Males pretty well, although you forget to mention the height arms race. From me, the aircraft carrier. She has set her butt slider to 100, her hips slider to 100, her saddle bags to 100, and her boobs to 100. You could land a plane on that butt. Her settings have broken her mesh and as a result she is the sort of woman with a thigh gap so wide it looks like she is riding an invisible pony. Invariably she has an overdone Display Name and her group title is "Hubby's Honeybobo" or along those lines. She stands in the landing zone at events and wears one of those "sigh" attachments. Her husband is wearing a dark thug-like skin with dreads pulled up into a man bun. He has more tattoos then a sailor's grandma and wears only deep crotch tracksuit pants and sneakers with a huge blingy necklace. He carries a flick knife in one hand and a joint in the other. He has the same curly display name matching Mrs Huge Hips, and his group title is Wifey's Honeybunbun" He doesn't have a "sigh" attachment, but he does love gestures and uses them almost as much as a toddler. And of course that brings me to that other group. The Toddlers. *run screaming, these guys are gesture annoying* Failed baby girls these chubby little runts waddle around with bling pacifiers (invariably labelled Princess) and frilly pink dresses with a lot of flowers. They spam gestures about how much they love their sissy endlessly. Sacchirine sweet the toddler is the most prolific gesture player in SL, even more annoying than that blond in Dance Island who spams her spanker and "oh la la la I love this DJ" the toddler will have you reaching for the parcel ban button faster then you can move.
  13. Normally less than 2 minutes. Most of the delay is waiting for the email to come through GMail.
  14. An apology to Maddy, as I couldn't do it in the other thread, it was Jagix-Locked before I could write this in there. I am sorry I misunderstood the intent of the kitten/dog picture. Looking at it closer I see it was a puppy being playful. Sorry for thinking the worst of it and grabbing that in the wrong way completely. You are awesome... even if you carry a huge flamethrower.
  15. The Governance meeting covered the forums a little. Those guys are busy! They rely on people to flag forum posts. The porn from the sex joints is a huge issue, but it's so full of hardcore photos I don't even want to enter that forum to do the flagging.
  16. There is a lot of offensive words in this thread, and not just from that one person. It has turned into a place where people can take some pretty bad digs at others, like posting pictures of kittens being killed by dogs. Respect for Madeline dropped 100 points with that bit of nastiness. The use of Kali surprised me too (yes, I knew who she is), especially with the words used. Very much the left footed version. There are few warm blankets in thread, just people being very bitchy towards others. If ever a thread needed closing, it's this one.

  18. The first image looks like you have accidentally tinted your eyes. There is a setting on the duckwa hud to set the tint, make sure this is white. The second image looks like specular/normal map is applied to them. In different regions (different windlights) and even at different times of the day the effect can look weird. It's likely best to remove the eye's materials if this bothers you. No. It will be tinting, or materials. Lag can't do this.
