  1. I can handle spiders. Now if it had looked like a snake well that's the horse of another color. The waiter/waitress would have ended up wearing the plate. lol I'm just saying. I don't do snakes. It's safe to say I have a healthy Indiana Jones style fear of snakes. In fact we'll just call it the rope from here on out. lol
  2. Don't you worry about a thing. This is SL somebody will keep that wife company while your gone. They'll be all up in that naughty box keeping things warm until you get back. Lmao!!!!😜😂 P.S. In the future try asking for help. You might actually get it. In the mean time try Singularity's Nightly build and see if you have a better time with that. Hurry up now. Might find yourself divorced by the time you get logged in if the box gets to naughty. lol I'm just saying. Lmao!!!!😜🤣
  3. What viewer you using? Also how big is your inventory? Asking because Firestorm ever since I updated won't load me in unless I clear cache and I have over half of SL in my inventory. lol I get loaded in and it freezes up on me. lol Is that roughly about the same thing going on with you? If so try clearing cache and loading in fresh and see if that helps.
  4. Ya. Don't do it. Run Forest!!!! Run!!!!! Lmao!!!! 😜 Make sure ya both ain't broke and it should work. lol Otherwise you gonna have to give more information then that mate. lol
  5. I am sorry. Had to be done. Lmao!!!! 😜
  6. The reality is the population of Second Life is dying if we compare it to what it once was. That being said and speaking from my personal experience with Star Wars Galaxies the die hard fans and user base of Second Life won't be going any where anytime soon. It still has a dedicate player base. So that alone will keep an mmo up and running for many years to come now. Only two things will kill SL and that is if LL really makes some serious bad business decisions regarding it or they wake up one day and someone in charge decides they are not generating enough cash flow out of this cash cow anymore to make maintaining it worth it and up and decide to pull the plug and close up shop. Which if and when the day and time that happens people have one of three choices after the big hurt wears off. They can move to another grid, find another VR mmo to join, or end their online VR journey once the doors close shut. My advice is to enjoy the ride while you can and build as many memories as you can. Worry about about all that other nonsense if the time comes that it ever happens.
  7. Sad to say all the big name vintage creators I use to get my stuff from before I went mesh is no longer in business from what it seems. I logged in briefly to pull some names for you and none of them seem to have either a market place or an in world store I can even recommend. Unless you come across something out there on market it I dare say finding items for system/legacy avatars is becoming increasingly harder now days due to the mesh trend. Now that is not to say there are not any good creators out there. I would definitely search a bit on market place. You may even still find some decent free vintage cloths for free even out there at some of the freebie places and role play sims. As far as mesh goes I have not come across a mesh designer that has made anything vintage specific per say as of yet that I am aware of. However one that comes to mind makes mainly male cloths last time I checked and is a bit on the pricey side. The store I would recommend for you being I know for sure they sell female clothing wear is Utopia. If I recall correctly they have a fairly decent selection of vintage wear among their clothing items selection. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/53622 That is their market place. I would tp to the in world store and take a browse around and see if you find anything to your liking. Some of their stuff can be a bit on the pricey side as well too, but the quality is well worth it. They may even very well still sell some system/legacy items if they have not done like a lot of other content creators have sadly done and phased all those item options out of existence using level of quality as the excuse. Given my own personal opinion I still think there are some system/legacy designs out there that still look better then the mesh items sold to this very day. In any case I hope this helps and good luck in your search.
  8. Your welcome mate. It didn't bother me any. lol Thank you for posting the fix for us all mate. True, but a lot of times people will do a forum search in order to try and find a solution and save up some time they may not exactly have at the moment. Sometimes you might actually find information not available on the wiki. It's still a good source of information to have so thank you for posting that mate.
  9. No worries mate. I've done it myself on Steam before. lol I'll necro a thread in a heartbeat if I feel it's useful. lol
  10. I never heard The Shelter myself. Ya'll make me want to go check it out. lol To the OP the only place I usually feel safe in recommending is Franks Place, but it has a group joining fee of 1k lindens. It's formal, but well worth the money. I've never had no chick randomly ask me for a shag when I went there and I've never heard any complaints from any of the ladies I am friends with who go and they do a lot of events and stuff as well as host live acts. So if ya don't mind the join fee and the formal scene I'd say give it a go. I met a lot of nice people that go there mate.
  11. I want to add old married women to this. In my experiences I have ran in to a lot more of them then I have the guys on here looking for some of that tang. lol Some of them even travel in packs. lol We most certainly can't leave them out. Not if we are going to be fair about it. Lmao!!!!
  12. That's actually the best attitude to have being honest. That's an outstanding attitude in fact. More often then not I have to let stuff wash off the side of my shoulder because it's not even worth it to even bother. I do agree [Second] Life does go on. I love that saying. lol Down the road this will just be another in a long line of those messed up situations you can both shake your head at and laugh about. lol I will leave you this piece of advice on what I found works best for me on staying on the chillax side of things. When people call themselves doing what ever with my chat logs I generally laugh in their face. Never let them see your bothered as they will take it for a sign of weakness. I am also a big fan of that block and mute feature SL has. It's magic girlfriend because it's an instant drama killer. lol I've used it more times then I can count over the years with an auto message for block saying something to effect of like don't go way mad. Just go away. You go poofy now. Poof!!!! lol Then again I am a gamer so I tend to have that mentality on here that if people really wanted to mess with me and they had some type of real actual skill then they'd play one of a dozen other games I play like Rust for example and try to raid my base so they could feed my saralac pit. My sarlacc is hungry. lol We can talk about the stages of death even so that I may bring them in to acceptance. Lmao!!!! 😜 I wouldn't worry to much about anything becoming a legal matter on here. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders and a handle on things. I think you will be all right. You rock so don't let anybody get you down. Good luck.
  13. I did and I stand corrected. I am sorry about that. I was speed reading last night while trying to give advice at the same time. Feel free to give me crap as the Guy code and the Governance team of Man Law demands mate. lol They did change it. That's all you really had to say. lol Technically and correct me if I am wrong on this, but based on my interpretation of it this still looks like it is still part of the ToS and the Community Standards is just a sub-section of that main ToS as with any contract. Maybe I am just not understanding why your saying it is not part of the ToS. If you don't mind will you elaborate more on your thoughts regarding that please? I'll yield to your expert tutelage on this one mate. lol What it is also backs up is what I said as well too. With in the confines of Second Life LL absolutely can and WILL do something about it. I never once said or implied that outside of Second Life they could do anything about it. That's the horse of an entirely different color. If it seemed or appeared that way then I am most definitely sorry about that. On that point your absolutely correct. Which is exactly why I gave the advice that I did in order to ensure a greater probability of success when filing an abuse report. That Free Speech only extends so far with in the confines of this virtual world. Seen a lot of bans because of exercising that Free Speech the absolute wrong way on here. Don't take my word for it though. Ask any long time Resident of any reputable anti-griefing group out there and they will tell you the same exact thing I did mate. I am really and truly very sorry. I am at a loss for words. It really makes absolutely no type of sense what so ever as to why they can not explain their own terms of service to customers that they themselves have written out for the services in which they provide. I've just never seen a situation quite like this before until now. To be entirely honest if this had been an experience I personally had when I first joined years ago then for me it would have sent up red flags to me not to invest my time and money in to their mmo and I very more then likely would not have stayed a member of this community for very long had I been aware of this as a new member starting fresh out of the gate. I mean being real about it that's just a very bad sign. lol I'm just saying. lol Any other company/mmo community would be more then happy to offer up a clear explanation to their customers. It really does speak volumes to the extreme low quality of service LL provides to it's customers.
  14. First I want to point out the fact that you explained and elaborated more then what was done in that support email validated everything I just said mate. Thank you. You just made my exact point for me. I bet it wasn't even that hard to do. So why would it be so hard and difficult for that to have been explained in that email? I personally couldn't remember if it was or wasn't covered in it, but I could have swore it was covered in there as well too. In either case mate they didn't even tell her that much. They need to toss you a check or at the very least some lindens because you just did their job for them brother. lol On the statement of it being MY lawyers job to interrupt a mmos ToS for me rather then it being their responsibility to clearly define their own ToS and as for the excuse for them being unable to. I will respond on that note with this simple question. They serving ice cream in hell yet? lol Because that'll be the day when that happens. lol I can't believe I even read that. I usually agree with most everything I've seen you say on these forums, but I guess there is a first time for everything and today is that day. I am sorry, but that just doesn't even make no type of sense. Now I am sure your just pointing out how it is and all, but I am saying the way it is set up makes absolutely no type of sense at all what so ever. I mean let's get real here. No one in their right mind hires a lawyer for a ToS break down let alone community guidelines. lol If someone told me they did I would more then likely ask them what in the heck is your major malfunction? Lmao!!!! 😂 And makes it even funnier is both really falls under their responsibility to explain to folks. EVERY mmo company/community knows this and what? Some how LL is magically exempt from this bit of common sense. If ya ask me common sense left the building years ago when everyone accepted this practice as the norm rather then question it. It's on the same level of people accepting what Alpha games were originally vs what is considered to be the norm. today. You are right on that last statement though more then likely nothing will come of it. You are wrong though that nothing can be done about it. Last I checked though this was in the ToS. Did it change from the time of my last post? lol 1.Disclosure Residents are entitled to a reasonable level of privacy with regard to their Second Life experience. Sharing personal information about your fellow Residents without their consent -- including gender, religion, age, marital status, race, sexual preference, alternate account names, and real-world location beyond what is provided by them in their Resident profile -- is not allowed. Remotely monitoring conversations in Second Life, posting conversation logs, or sharing conversation logs without the participants' consent are all prohibited. This older wiki is probably more explicit about that: Disclosing private Second Life conversations Sharing or posting a conversation inworld or in the Second Life forums without consent of all involved Residents is a violation of the Terms of Service. NOTE: This does not include posting of chat to social media sites or other websites. Posting such logs on web pages, emailing them, or printing them out and posting them on utility poles in the "real world" -- are all actions beyond the scope of the Second Life Terms of Service. ; while that might be illegal, but those laws must be enforced by the proper law enforcement agencies. "Conversation" means text that originally came from Second Life chat or Second Life instant messages. If it's totally unattributed, then it isn't considered disclosure. Additionally, Residents are not punished for sharing or posting a comment such as "Bob Resident said, 'You're the greatest!'" Might want to double check on that one mate. I don't want them to fire ya. Lmao!!!!
  15. I do not entirely agree with my respected counterparts. Far be it for me to dispute their points as I do agree on some of what they said, but and keep in mind it's been ages since I even bothered to file a support ticket because my feelings on support is that they'd have to work extremely hard for me to even have a low opinion about their services in the first place. That being said the last time I filed on you had individual departments you could sent the ticket to. Now depending on what you put in your ticket I know if I were to file a ticket in any of a dozen mmo communities I have been a member of and asked for a blanket break down explanation of their ToS then that is what I would receive. I would get one because they want to make sure you have a clear understanding of the rules and guidelines of their terms of service. I mean otherwise people will just have the attitude of oh your not going to clarify your own ToS? Ah well I don't have to follow it then. I mean that's just stupid every which way you paint it. I find it interesting anyone would even defend that type of moronic thinking. That's just funny to me. lol If that was all you asked them for then it baffles me they were unable to provide this. That is pathetic by any standard and there really is no justification for it. People can say what they want, but there just really is no excuse for not being able to do that one simple thing. Come on people it's not rocket science. I honestly would have to agree with the ladies on this point though in this specific case and say having worked tech support for XBox myself in the past that poor Rockos hands are tied with some stupid rule preventing him from discussing it. Still there should have been someone that ticket could have been forwarded to in order to provide you with the assistance you needed. Side note, loving his name btw. He makes me want to go watch Rocky movies now. Lmao!!!! 😜 That being said every now and again you do get a good CSR experience. It's just rare for most people I have spoken with personally. More often then not policy is to blame rather then lack of competence of the person. Like they said they won't discuss specific cases and situations with you with the one exception I do want to add which is unless it is about you specifically. Depending on the situation is depending on what they will and will not discuss. They do have to cover themselves and make sure they do things the right way and not the wrong way. Also I get why you'd feel doing a report is a waste of time. That's one of the reasons why I emphasized picture proof earlier. As long as your covered on that front you should if they are properly doing their jobs that day you should see some type of results. You won't hear back from them usually, but if someone is committing a bannable offense they generally do not last very long. Just make sure you dot your I's and cross your T's and you should be fine. It's a coin toss really as if you will see results or not though. I woke up to IM's where I have had someone threaten to murder me in RL and shook my head and I reported it and kept it moving which interestingly enough they are still around to this very day. Nothing ever came of it. The other side of that coin is I've reported people for ***** and griefing huds and laggers being used to attack residents on sims and those cases were handled. Which also let me point out those are generally the only offenses I'll get out of bed for. Keep in mind people report on some of the stupidest stuff on here. So in their defense too they have to work threw and weed out all the big dummy reports before they can even get to and touch the real ones. I am really very sorry you had such a bad experience with them. I read that and all I could say was wow. lol I am still shaking my head on that one. I don't know if they still do this or not, but if they still offer phone support then you might be better off ringing them up and getting somebody on the horn and see if they can explain and answer any questions and concerns you have regarding the ToS. I've had better luck with their phone support then I have ever had using that ticket system. Back in the day their phone support was awesome. So if they still have and offer that then I'd might consider trying them. Good luck.
  16. Indeed it would mate. lol That is actually an excellent suggestion neither myself or anyone else had even thought to mention and recommend for everyone to do mate. Very good idea. Thanks for pointing that out. I actually want to test it some more myself personally before I say or do anything further. That's just my experiences with my first preliminary test run out. Enough to validate the OP's concerns and confirm that there is in fact an issue. For myself I generally test software for at least a good one to two weeks worth of a trial run. I'd like to see if I can ascertain the cause of the lag from the user stand point. So I intend to repeat a lot of the same steps I did using various settings to see the effect. I'll probably even stress test the viewer in over crowded and high mesh builds places knowing me just to see how it holds up under pressure in comparison to it's predecessor. Mostly because I am curious and also if I come across something I think is useful if not helpful it'll be more accurate with a complete over all test. That's just a habit I have from testing Alpha games on Steam and as I said my SL wife and I have similar system specs with the exception of her having a better video card to operate with. I want to put up my settings and see if I have the same effect she did or worse or the same. I would have actually liked to have tested it some more today if I'd had the time, but I actually had some Non-SL projects I needed to focus my time on that I had already obligated myself to. If nothing else my curiosity has been sparked about it though. Anyway that's where I am personally at with it at the moment as far as I am concerned. Like I said good that is a very suggestion though. The more people that give them information regarding the viewers performance and their experiences the more of an increased chance of them being able to look in to it and possibly narrow down the issue. I would like to think that they read them otherwise it'd be pretty pointless to have it all set up in the first place. Anyway thanks again mate. Good call.
  17. Awesome attitude and thinking on your part and eventually when that happens LL will close up shop and shut everything down there by all the money everyone's invested over the years goes poofy now, but hey at least there was no lag. lol So keep having that attitude pal. You were first in your class weren't you? lol Brilliant. Bloodly brilliant. Lmao!!!!
  18. First I was to say thank you for elaborating on that and making sure we in fact have the correct information out there. In my earlier post the information I posted which perhaps it is possible I may have misinterpreted was information I had read stated on Firestorms very own web site in fact which was an older FS blog and as the reason I stated earlier it was stated that it was done so in order to give people a longer grace period and at the time of the post your web site was currently hosting 5 active versions of the viewer software which further validated my statements of course in which I am sure you all would provide support for if need be. To do so otherwise at least in this one mans opinion would not reflect well on the positive image the Firestorm teams has built. However that being said I am noticing the negative trend in SL with that type of thinking in regards to support offered and more often then not residents who have felt the direct result of it have not been left with a positive out look up on those experiences. Whether you choose to use the term phased out as I did or blocked as you preferred it essentially boils down to the same exact meaning given the frame of reference and context of which it was used in. While I, myself have not ever had a reason to generally bother anyone from the support team I have no doubt things get a bit hectic for you all on that side of the house. It's good to know there are only 3 available versions of FS even though your web site was clearly hosting 5 working viewers at the time of my post. And I do appreciate you clearing that up for us all though as I do not want to provide incorrect information. So thank you very much again for that. As Steeljane42 previously stated there are a lot for reasons why people do not update. For me personally it is performance reasons. If I find a version of a viewer that performs exceptionally well for me I tend to stick with it until it is naturally phased out over the course of time or I read over the patch notes and see if it is worth it to me to upgrade. I've just always done it that way. I am old school like that. lol Bering a long time gamer I value performance and play ability over all. Those are my first things I grade on with any new viewer I install. If the viewer doesn't perform well the fixes are pointless. It would be like testing an Alpha game. If the game does not run well then the added features of the game and big fixes are lost in poor play ability performance. On the matter of the auto updater I am not going to chime in on that because I could actually argue both of your points of which you are both valid on and at the end of the day it really depends on what peace of software we are referring to and/or game if we are keeping it game specific. I've seen some mmos where you have to download the update manually and others if not most actually do use a patcher in order to update the client. And in all honesty when comparing this particular mmo to other in my opinion it is very much like comparing apples and oranges. lol Now on to the review which is why I originally logged in to the forums today while on my first cup of coffee as well too. Yayyy us!!!! lol First ladies and gentlemen I want to start off by saying I am a big fan of this viewer. The Firestorm team has time and time again in the past done superb work in the production of their viewer in order to provide us with the most positive SL experience we could hope to wish for. It offers a lot of features you'd be hard pressed to find in any other viewer. One might even say I am at borderline fanboy status of their work and that is ok too. lol However I would be remiss if I did not give a fair and accurate account of my experiences the first night out testing the Firestorm BoM version. Now I waited until the end of the day before logging out of my old version until my SL wife came home so we could play test the viewer together. I'll give an account of what we have experienced so far. Now both of our machines are geared towards high end gaming even more so hers and while by any means I do not have a potato machine myself and my SL wife definitely has the better gaming rig between the two of us which I consistently pick on her and give her heck. Especially when she makes it a point to let me know when playing some of our higher end games where I may have to run medium for better fps on games with graphic levels equaled to that of Ark Survival Evolved how beautiful things look on maxed/ultra graphics. lol I'll pick on her and call her bragger, but I do enjoy listening to her because for her this is her very first actual gaming rig specifically designed to run high end stuff and she more then anyone I know deserves to have and enjoy that experience for the very first time as she has worked really hard to get where she is at and I am extremely and exceptionally proud of her for that among many other things. Anyway getting back on point. lol We had no issues during the install process. Everything went smoothly. First log in everything went smoothly and as with any new viewer you wait for your inventory to load. Now my inventory is exceptionally large and twice if not three times the size of hers. We joke and say I have acquired half of SL in my inventory. lol My experience my inventory loaded with out an issue. Her experience hers loaded without issue however that being said hers took longer for some reason to fully load then mine which I found odd because she has the better internet speed between us both as well. At this point once we fully loaded we did a relog as we usually do in order to lessen inventory load times. I have yet to be able to get logged back in. In the past when this has happened I have always been able to sort it out without having to clear cache each time I want to log in. So far this time I have not been able to accomplish this. Contributing factors in this could be internet speed as with anything faster internet always equal faster log in's in SL. That being said it has been ages since I have experienced this issue on this level. So after about 20 unsuccessful attempts I decided to log in and old alt which is basically a fresh toon. So now that I am sorted on a fresh toon we decide to tp out and see how it feels to us. For her regardless of what sim we were on she was frequently mentioning it seemed a lot laggier for her when she walked around in comparison to the old viewer that was just phased out. Trying to be fair I told her it is possible it could a server side issue with the grid as I have had those moments even on our original version of the viewer. It is really hard to tell if it is being caused by the viewer or by the grid and at some points because of SL being a mmo famous for lag issues in the first place it may not be as noticeable. However despite the various lag issues we proceeded on and enjoyed our evening. By the time the evening came to an end we proceeded home and turned in for the night leaving our avatars logged in with each other as we sometimes do. I, myself put a movie on last that I started off watching and eventually over the course of time it ended up watching me. lol 😜 Now I have done this many times in the past and never had much of an issue with it before. However this time when I woke up my rig was lagged out entirely with resources eaten up to such a degree it was as if I was play testing a bad Alpha game with extremely poor optimization and server memory leak issues. It took me close to 30 minutes of fighting to even be able to perform a simple shut down of the viewer. I've only ever once experience a lag out on one of my machines this bad and it was when I attempted to run Ark Survival Evolved on a laptop in which sadly the processor was not up to par with the video card on it. So one could very well imagine my surprise when I have awoke to this experience re-emulated on my main gaming machine.😲 On the other side of that coin my SL wife upon rushing out in the morning for work did not notice any issues promptly and was able to shut down quickly as usual. Since both our rigs operate on similar specs with the video card being the only major difference I contribute this to her having a new card with more video ram to play around with. We both tested this on a Windows 10 platform with her running between Ultra to High specs in the settings. I tweaked mine down in order to test it on the lowest settings possible leaving only Basic Shaders enabled as not to have distorted looking avatars. Other things we've noticed is Discord seemed to red line a lot. It's hard to say if this was an issue on their end or an issue with the viewer. Over all so far with what we've personally tested I would say the OP has a valid claim. While I can't narrow down the exact cause of the lag as of just yet the viewer feels very much like playing an Alpha game with a memory leak issue and very bad optimization. It saddens me to say that so far it has not lived up to the expectations of greatness that is Firestorm. Recommendations on this version of the viewer would be to run it on a machine with a minimum of 8 gigs of ram and a video card with at least 4 gigs on ram for semi-decent performance in order to compensate for any potential issues. If you made it this far ladies and gentlemen thank you for reading my review.
  19. As a guy I am one of those I don't really look at that stuff to often. I actually don't think about it personally. I might actually pay more attention to script count if anything at all. I also have the attitude though that LL should design their game to be able to handle this to where it is a non-issue for residents. When I go out I don't really want to hear the first thing out someones mouth being about complexity and/or script counts. So usually if I do chances are I leave that sim and don't return. lol
  20. This comment caught my attention. While I agree with what your saying one problem that has been a constant over the years in SL with no actual real rules or guidelines regarding that is it sadly opens the door to shady land owners renting to residents. I've even caught so called reputable land agencies pull some shady stuff. I've actually seen an entire sim set up as a residential neighborhood sold right out from under everyone with out so much as a moments notice and the new owners come in and return everyone's stuff and start kicking and banning people with out so much as a word or explanation. It definitely if nothing else has opened my eyes to seeing peoples ignorant side. lol 🙄
  21. Ok I just wanted to do an update on this thread. After I thought more on it and I had some time freed up I decided to look further in to this. I went to Fallen Gods and spoke with a very nice lady there who confirmed for me that both the Hybrid Fur skin and shape as well as the Wasabi Pills Werewolf Hair are no longer being offered for sale as it has not been updated. I even inquired about purchasing the original versions and from my understanding of the conversation the creator is particular about selling older works and creations and sadly not really open to doing it at this time. I don't run in to that very often as usually most content creators I have personally dealt with are happy that you've taken an interest in their work and quiet willing to sell you the product you are inquiring about. And as I said sadly this just was not the case this time around. So I left it on the note of should that ever change I'd be more then interested in purchasing it because even by today's standards this creators work is still superb in every way. I provided the link to this thread explaining why I originally inquired in hopes perhaps the creator at some point will take a renewed interest in updating that particular product and making it available again to the public. I always find it sad when great works get lost over the course of time because there has been a lot of great content created out there in SL that is just sadly no longer available today. More often then not because someone left the game and never bothered to list any of their creations on the market. I can say it has happened more often then I care for that I have felt bad for someone new to the game asking me about where I acquired a certain item and I have to tell them I am sorry, but it is no longer available. lol 🥺 Over all after having finished my conversation I decided to look around the store while I still had some time and I did look at the Feather skins they had available and while it may not be exactly what the OP is looking for I must say I did find the Raven version of the Feathers skin the closest to what I would personally use for my wolfman/teen wolf avatar. At the very least it is worth grabbing the demo up in order to see how it actually looks on your avatar before making a purchase. As I said I did provide them with the link to this thread so if enough people are interested then maybe perhaps the creator will update and renew that series making it available again. One can only hope. It's a wait and see game at this point. In any case this is where I am at with it. If I come across anything additional that I think will make the grade I will definitely post it. Thank you all for your time. Have a safe, awesome, and blessed day everyone.
  22. Your welcome. Worse case scenario you may have to rotate between viewers as a temporary solution based on what your activities are until you can narrow down the problem. The reason I personally like Singularity myself is because every machine I've tested it on I've not had an issue and found a gain in performance better then any other viewer I've tested and it actually has a lot of the same basic features I use that Firestorm does such as outfit management. It's just harder to find them if you don't know what to look for. I am sorry I could not really be much more of help. Without really knowing how your system is set up, what your exact settings are, and what type of rig your running it's really hard for me to say one way or the other what could be causing it. I hope you get it sorted out. Thank you for clarifying that for me. I appreciate it. That's actually not entirely accurate, Firestorm maintains 5 releases and when a new release is set out they phase the oldest one out. They are set up on their own thing entirely separate of LL's so one really has nothing to do with the other except that they give you a longer grace period before phasing your viewer out. They don't actually have to do it that way, but they have their reasons they do and even though I may not like that it is done that way as I am sure there are those who feel as I do I can respect it. I mean it's their viewer. They made it. So I really don't got any say in the matter. lol
  23. Sadly that store was the only place I found that offered the best wolfman option out there, but I am not sure they even sell it any more. Last time I went to look for the skin and shape though they didn't have the exact skin available for it sadly. Which was the Hybrid Fur skin that was designed to go with the Hybrid Fur Original shape and went with their Wasabi Pills Werewolf Hair which can be modded to fit any shape that they sold at the time. That would be the skin and stuff I would look for and see if they are selling it again. I would actually go back and purchase it from them if they did. That being said I ended up using this skin because I was going for a teen wolf look and it managed to not look so bad. I just would have preferred the Hybrid. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/BATMAN-BEYOND-SKIN-BARON-SALAMANDER/5880359 I have a system head and my av was fully clothed so this fix worked. I would check the store and see if they have the Hybrid Fur skin back up for sale. Good luck.
  24. Free places I am not entirely sure. I haven't been out in ages. I think the reason a lot of places charge is to detour griefers. If you like dancing and music I would say give Frank's Place Elite Club a shot. They are a formal club and play jazz and all sorts of music there and have live singer acts and stuff. It's a very classy place. They do not allow gesture spamming there and I have always had decent conversations when I have attended events. People are respectful, the ladies act like ladies and the gentlemen act like gentlemen, and it's to be honest one of the very few on an extremely short list of places I'd go to and the only place I can think of where they don't spam gestures. Some times they have their quiet moments though, but that's usually when it's late. It's also my first place of choice when I want my SL wife to dress up and go dancing with me so I can remind her what a classy lady she is and ain't got to take crap off nobody. Even if sometimes that means including me. lol It is 1k to join and I know that's not what your looking for, but you seem like a really sweet person and it's your first time out and I'd rather you have a positive experience and also you caught me in a giving mood. So if money is the issue just get at me in PM and let me know when your online and I'll hook you up. I am lycan so that kind of makes me half furry in a sense so ya got me in the soft spot today cousin. lol P.S. Before anybody posts it because I know on these forums there is a good strong chance that somebody will. Let me stop you now. Don't even ask. I ain't Daddy Warbucks over here. Lmao!!!!
