  1. Premium Plus Sandbox? Maybe P+ are getting their own.
  2. They would have to be unregistered, otherwise the club would not be at/near the top of Search. If the bots were legitimately registered then the traffic figures in the club would be much lower. The traffic figures themselves will prove that the bots are unregistered.
  3. I see Lindens sometimes at Bellisseria events, most recently the opening of Bellihub, and again at the opening of the Merrymount community centre. Patch is a regular at that sort of thing, Strawberry was at one of them, Kiera and Whitney are often a regular in Bellisseria too. I've seen more Lindens in 4 years of Bellisseria than in the previus 10 combined. I never ask them for their bears though. It seems rude somehow.
  4. I would only consider Premium Plus if it was cheaper, either in overall outlay or because of extra stipend, than two regular premium accounts. But it's not. Free uploads looks tempting on the surface but it actually isn't: I'd need to upload 3750 textures a year, or 72 per week, to make it pay for the difference. There's no way I would ever upload that many, even if it was free.
  5. Its very commom for an avatar face to look distorted after removing a furry head (and sometimes other furry parts) because they often use deformers to make the head fit properly. This isnt anything to do with your shape, and if you change shapes, or edit your shape, the deformation will persist. It's closer in function to an animation than a shape (though, not quite the same). Re-logging works because it re-sets your avatar skeleton and animations when you do that. But you can also re-set without re-logging, by going to the "Avatar" menu, then "Avatar Health" then ""Undeform avatar" (this is on the Firestorm viewer, maybe someone else can help with the menu options on the official viewer?)
  6. For me, it needs to be original, not just stuff found on Google Images and uploaded (if it's that, it better be on sale for less than L$10). It needs to be made by you, the seller. There's plenty of SL and RL photography in SL already but I think there's a shortage of RL fine art media; real watercolour, oil paintings, illustrations, even textiles (tapestries, embroideries), as oposed to SL and digital art, of which there's plenty. And I can understand why; I've tried to scan or photograph my own RL pieces for upload into SL and it's hard, especially when they are larger than 8"x 11". Beyond that, it needs to be mod, so I can resize it and take off the darn Full-Bright that everyone who sells art seems to think an art piece must have. (Hint - don't. It looks dreadful in any light that isn't Mid-day or CALWL). It needs a nice frame. As for theme and style; what I need there will vary because it needs to match my room in style and colour palette, and I change my home and decor about once every 3 months, and my needs for each one will be very different. Generally though, I prefer art that is, or looks like, traditional RL fine art. Landscapes and the like, maybe abstract for a more modern room. The styles I'm currently looking for are classic Victorian-style oil-painted landscapes, and cottagecore-style illustrations (e.g. delicate ink-and-wash botanical or bird illustrations and the like). But in the past I've had many other themes; including traditional Japanese (woodcut prints and textiles), medieval (again, textiles, tapestries), nautical themes, modern abstract with bold splashes of colour, boho psychedelic art, and more. What I particularly like though, is matched sets of three or four images on a single theme, in the same style, with the same frame, that can be hung together.
  7. I've always been less-than-keen on Houseboats (though I love the idea of being near/on water), but I thought I'd give the new styles a try for the first time. And... I really like this one. It reminds me of the Williamsburg trailer, except much bigger. Still a work in progress, needs more pretty decor, but I'm happy with it so far.
  8. That's nonsense. Virtiually no clubs offer salary for hosts/DJs, they are almost ALL tips-only. That's the normal business model for these roles in SL now.
  9. Your dogs will be ok as long as you don't pick them up to inventory, at least until their food runs out. Once the food HAS run out, I'm not sure what will happen then - with the servers down, it may be the case that they won't need more food and won't get sick. But if they do, they're done.
  10. Apparently she hates SL so much she wants it to close down.
  11. I think this is a genius move and if they have any brains at all, they'll make Zero a permanent freebie (or at least, price it at no more than L$10) because of all the people who try it out and then decide that they want to buy the fully-functioning version.
  12. Word of caution - the creator of Krankhous left SL and multiplied all their Marketprice prices by 500% upon doing so.
  13. This is the teleporter I use. Super-simple and works great. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Auto-Configuring-Teleporter/4531189
  14. Its beautiful. I think maybe my second favourite community area after the Eyrie.
  15. In the years since I switched to a feminine avatar in SL... no I can't say that I ever felt particularly vulnerable. But then again my avatar is not typical of feminine women and I'm open about my RL gender so maybe that gets me a free pass out of situations that might make cis-women feel vulnerable?
  16. This happened to me the other day, with every single shape I own, and happened again when I tried to make a new shape from scratch. I gave up, logged out, and it was all fine the next day.
  17. I've won twice on Magika's Flickr giveaway (once for my main account and once for my alt) and neither of us are friends or alts of Sabina Gully. Nor are we bloggers" or "influencers". So that one at least, is genuine. Magika is the only one I enter cos I must have everything she makes. 😁
  18. You're probably not looking far enough back in the stream. They get hundreds of submissions per hour and they sometimes take a few hours to approve a batch at a time, so by the time yours gets approved, it's probably 1000 to 2000 images back. At least 5 pages.
  19. I think its just something thats catching on and spreading as stores are getting more and more desperate to attract new customers. A few, like Magika, have been doing it for years, a few others are seeing that they are successful and, like a virus, it spreads and becomes more popular as it gets more visibility on social media. As for "what's happened" I think the answer is "global economic recession".
  20. That image looks like it's been heavily edited in photoshop. It's unlikely you'd ever get anything looking exactly like that in-world.
  21. They could still make "HopelessHeineken Resident" or "CardboardMcDonalds Resident" etc now. Not much difference, except for an extra space..

    Alt

My alt started as an experiment to have a totally free account, using only freebies. That didnt last long, and now my alt regularly demands shopping funds from me. This is the biggest risk with having alts.
