Hi I ran into a problem after trying to import my own creation into second life. While I am not new to 3D modelling with Blender and other programs, I have always only created things for fun. Now I have decided to import few of those creations into Second Life but the materials I have used do not display in the preview at all. I have used the Cycles Render and I would like to get some help from you people that have done it before. How do I solve my issue with Materials not displaying in Second Life after Exporting a Collada file from Blender Rendered in Cycles? Any help would be really appreciated and Thanks in Advance
Most all noobs (prefers "New Residents") start off with a system classic av. It was a month or so till I sprang for a Sig-Gianni / Catwa. To this day all I know about it is that I paid more for higher detail and a more realistic look, and with a decent human body-language animation-override (Oracul is my choice), you may have somethin. Would anyone want to explain for me in detail what the heck "MESH" really is and how it's made? Yes, I like particulars, especially how it's made. Did you ever watch HOW IT'S MADE on TV? I always loved that show. https://www.sciencechannel.com/tv-shows/how-its-made/
I have afew meshes. And those meshes have different materials on different faces like....a clock with metal material on case faces and glass material on glass faces. I join those meshes in Blender and upload to SL. But SL sees it as if one face/material. I want to make glass face transparent, but i can not select it separately since SL sees it as one face. All mesh goes transparent. What may cause it ? I joined different meshes with different materials in Blender and uploaded to SL before this happens for the first time.
