These large 2 LI decorative wall panels by Driftwood (associated with Apple Fall) are on sale for $75 each, $68 if you wear an Apple Fall tag.

Wow, thanks..Wasn't aware of Driftwood before. But even though it's connected to Apple Fall, I needed the Driftwood Update group to get the discount.

Thanks for the correction - I just saw the 2 prices and assumed it was the AF tag that was required as I didn’t see a sign to join Driftwood.

If you are exploring the Newbrookes or just like sleek, modern, dark furnishings, hurry over to WRONG and grab their $L60 Weekend deals:  (sorry, I should have zoomed in but neglected to; the sale items are kitchen, bed, jacuzzi and pergola)

The kitchen is regularly part of Happy Weekend, each time with a new color. I already own beige and black. Wrong also has a one-wall kitchen (as opposed to this corner one) which has only 3Li and it's also sometimes on offer.
The jacuzzi & pergola were also already on offer at least once. I guess the light wood version will be soon.

http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Dreamworld Reef/111/18/28  Here you go!  I visit often; as Emma mentioned above, their differing wood choices come up fairly regularly on popular items.

Thank you! (sorry to be slow to reply ... I have been caught up in building a region for an upcoming event and am just now catching up on the forums.)

As a quick heads up to anyone getting the WRONG sets - the kitchen is fantastic and I love it, but the jacuzzi patio set has some struggles. Namely, the LOD is such that literally the table won't look right unless you're literally in the pergola, and the pergola itself turns into a mass of lines at any distance at all. Also, the deck has baked on shadows from the jacuzzi, which may make resizing/adjusting trickier.

All that said, it's a great looking set if you can deal with the oddities. I just personally ended up giving up and just keeping the kitchen set. :)

Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking about getting the light wood version of the jacuzzi patio set but now I'll reconsider. I hate it when shadows are baked into the texture.

Sadly, that is true; I was wrestling with that set early this morning.  I left it in place but the LOD and baked on shadows are disappointing.

A note on (insert store name in discussion) items as well as others with no obvious demo.  Most often you can use area search to find the product. I have done that often at this store and other shops.  Again, the no demo - no buy rule comes into play.  I sometimes break it but not on furniture unless I know the builder is always good with LODs and triangle counts :D.

There have been some new to event folks with JUST vendor photos of items on display and while the vendors looked great, there was no way I was going to buy what could be "primmy" stuff that fell apart at a short distance.  I hope they figure out that people want to SEE things before buying.  If there is no room, a "landmark to demo" sign can always be added. That's what I do.

Ariskea has this sofa out for FLF - some color-change options for the fabric and pillows. I just wish it weren't so deep - even my virtual back hurts at the thought of sitting on it without back support! (Feeling particularly sensitive about that right now as I have a large bolster pillow between me and the back of my desk chair - hoping the Ibuprofen gel starts working soon...) Anyway - only 6 LI, PG or A for $50.

Floorplan are selling their 4 LI texture-change wicker corner shelf unit in the soft-gray Cloud color for $50.  (Black, white, dark and light wood versions have been on sale previously, so check you inventory! Those colors can still be found above the sale kiosk, for $125 each.) Also on sale for $50 is the "Ducky" set, but even though I have a home called Mallard Cottage I won't be buying it because, as you can see from both photos, the LODs on the bowl - which I'd love to use -  are terrible. :(

Warning!  :D

Out this weekend on sale at a pose shop, an office set.  No demo but I bought anyway so I'd know *wink*. When unpacked it was 43 land impact, huge, no mod and some items had horrid LODs.   Basically useless.

So while it looks good in the vendor photo ...

Just saving folks some angst.

:SwingingFriends:

Zerkalo has a nicely made (guessing older gacha set) casino.  So far, that's all I got this week :D.

I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of sales events I found on Seraphim SL and other sites for this weekend. This set of Knicknacks at Hilted caught my eye. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/HILTED/159/128/24. The $L60 Happy Weekend set comes with each of the 14 different pets separately, or on a stand, or with just the empty stand.

Full stand, if I'm reading things right, is 8 land impact

The empty stand is 2 land impact.

The pets are 1 land impact each; however, I was able to stretch Snooty Snoot to one meter and he came out at 4 land impact.

With my graphics set to maximum distance but using default settings, there were some degradation of image at about 7 meters away for the smaller items, but the shelves and the enlarged pet were viewable at 10m.

For myself, I see using the enlarged knickknacks as individual accent pieces, or small sculptures.

I didn't have time to look at everything for sale this weekend, but whole area around Hilted was full of interesting shops and builds.

This 13 LI gazebo is on sale now at Apple Fall - available in 4 wood tones, each for $75, $68 if you wear an Apple Fall tag.

LOL Frigga... with my dyslexia.. when I saw the two prices without a space in-between, my brain processed it as $75,568L. I thought that was a tad pricey for a gazebo. I did a double take and realized it was 75L or 68L with tag.

Anyhow, I do appreciate you working so hard to bring us info about all these great sales every week. Thank you.
