it's not so long ago, it was only in 2020.

but that was her, in her early days of starting her rental biz cos she realized she could not stop building and decorating, out of rl depression in facing the early stage of pandemic.

things are better now, but she's glad she found ways to manage the rl issues through creative means in sl.

still in 2020, she built her own club structure from scratch. she had fun with prims building, putting right textures, right colors, right lightings and all the details.

there were weekly moments where she had fun with her club's djs and visitors. the club is no longer exist, yet the fun of dancing with friends remains to be a good memory for her.

Sometime in 2011 there was this dance club that I forget the name of that I would go to often to hang out and take photos.

 

2011 was also when I changed over to an an anime avatar

I've been here nearly seven months thus far (since early April 2021).

This happened about two weeks after I signed on. Logged on one night from a random spot and this is what I witnessed. I don't think the couple noticed me, I ran out of there very quickly! LOL

2013 was when I got the <UTILIZATOR> M3 Mesh Anime Head

 

I guess it was at the end of 2013 that I tried on a demo hair that happened to start off on pink and I ended up liking how it looked. I switched over to having a pink hair anime avatar and have just stuck with it ever since.

My oldest pic of SL, September 2006.

The Korea sim was always crowded with newbees. When thinking back SL was more fun in those days. Most clubs were crowded 24/7 and the local chat was very busy.

The Korea sims still look exactly the same and are deserted now.

Anyone remembers Grendell's children ?

4 beautyfull rp sims and a shop in the air with fantasy avatars. The shop is still there but only 1 sim left now.

In 2007 when I first started playing Second Life I went through a phase where I was trying to be a model. Didn't lead anywhere, but the class I took was fun and I did learn a lot about Second Life photography

 

When we were practicing on the runway and how to do quick changes between different outfits one of the outfits I swapped into was a Robbie from Silent Hill 3 costume, which was pretty hilarious to see on the runway 😆

I absolutely remember Grendel's Children! I managed to put an old Grendel outfit called Rage (it was part of a series of the 7 deadly sins, Rage representing wrath) on my mesh body, and it looks better than I expected. I have other Grendel outfits, but they are more risqué and I don't want to get in trouble with the forum police.

The Korea sims used to always be so populated. I still pop back from time to time, and still feel the same butterflies in the pit of my stomach as I always used to have in those early days. I wonder where everybody went to, there used to be bunches of wildly-dressed people talking in open chat. And bots. Lots of bots that had auto-relogged but landed in Korea because their usual sim wasn't available. 

Those initial avatars were rather grim though. I had purple hair with eyebrows to match, made my own clothes using the leopard print texture in the inventory library folders. I thought I looked the bees knees. Obviously I did not.
