Bree Giffen Posted August 19, 2022 Share Posted August 19, 2022 Do They Know It's Christmas released in December of 1984 The first singer is Paul Young who had the song Come Back and Stay in 1984 He was followed by Boy George of the Culture Club which came out with several songs in 1984 including Karma Chameleon It cuts to Phil Collins drumming, which is odd because had a number one hit Against All Odds in 1984 as a singer The next singer is George Michael of Wham! who hit the big time in 1984 with Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. And Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran which had released Union of the Snake that same year Sting of The Police appears next to Le Bon. The Police were on a break in 1984 but had many hits in 1983 including Every Breath You Take. Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet sings briefly. The band came out with True in 1983.
