According to Google, Quote The name has nothing to to do with 'rams' in any form, the derivation being from the pre 7th century Olde English word 'hramsa' meaning garlic and 'bopm', which strictly speaking means land at the bottom of a valley suitable for agriculture. https://www.surnamedb.com/Surname/Ramsbottom It's not that uncommon a surname in Lancashire and west Yorkshire. 1

Then, add the difference of the language spoken by A Neko Lion. 😁

Interesting new turn of events in terms of typical use and landscaping in Bellisseria, and indeed in LH land. Maybe those 3×3 region cluster centered around http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/WelcomeHub/128/128 are not really Bellisseria, in spite of their location on the grid?

I think that the HUB is a 9 region area in its own merit meant to be a social/activity center for all sl residents (old and new). It consists of 9 regions and tries to represent many aspects of second life. There is a gaming area, a casino a social area, a laser tag area, a shopping area, a sandbox, the music/entertainment area (Motown), a demo of belli homes, and other stuff too. I have visited it and think it is very well done.

I don't think we ever thought they were going to be Linden Home regions, but they're close and might end up connected, so it's still relevant to people living in the homes. Much like the Galaxy isn't, but is attached.

Polenth Yue
So, I ran around, and the welcome hub is connected now to the logs. In-progress ocean regions at the moment, but there's the start of a coast and it looks like the log rail will connect to the station in the welcome hub area. Those who really wanted that coast, it's begun and you can stop holding your breath! The skill games are on freeplay, so I don't think it's an official skill games region. Just showing you how the games work. The shops are real brands and there are gifts in the shops. You can fire yourself out of cannons. There are giant tentacles. I think that answers the main questions people had. Overall, looks a lot nicer and more useful than previous new player experiences I've been through. Thea Amethyst
In the new WelcomeHubLindenHomes region, there are demos of each Linden home theme and 2 vacant 2048 parcels, one (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/WelcomeHubLindenHomes/168/117/26) that looks like it is for the anticipated, not-yet-released ranch theme home, and another one (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/WelcomeHubLindenHomes/99/163/28) that has a big sign in it that says "More coming soon. Watch this space!" Could there be another 2048 theme coming soon after the ranch theme? 2

LL is either dropping big hints or totally messing with us (or BOTH!!) The parcel says in the Land Tool that it is 2048 yet has a "Parcel Border" line across the middle. I am not sure how to interpret that. Oh, and the parcel name is "LH Demo???"; LL is so coy it hurts!
