  1. For the "snowy" mountain theme.. It doesn't have to all be snow.. there could gradually be more snow as you go up the mountain. That would give lots of homes without snow and a few homes with snow for those who want them. Just a thought.
  2. I would love to see a snowy (or not) mountain theme where the homes are on tiered levels of hills so that each one has an obstructed view from the backyard. The ones on the ground tier could have a view of a lake/pond/stream.
  3. If there were to be a new upcoming theme, I would like to see one with both 2048 and 1024 parcels mixed... similar to the Sakura and Newbrooke themes which have 1024s and 512s. It would offer something for everyone.
  4. The fortune teller predicts a happy 5th anniversary celebration for Bellisseria!
  5. I've worn both bodies, Legacy Classic and now Reborn, and while I like Legacy, I prefer Reborn. It is a much simpler body and hud. I prefer a slimmer shape and was able to find deformers that helped reduce the large behind. I am wearing the rvn - my body reflection - reborn version deformers (middle body form - v4 and butt form - v6 linked together as one attachment) and the eBODY - REBORN Deformer - Nadu knee fix. I don't use any other Reborn attachments like the waifus as I prefer a smaller chest. I really like this body because it can be slim with just a bit of curve to it. I recommend Reborn if you like a slightly curvy slim shape.
  6. I have been following this thread and was not previously aware of all of the issues and people being discussed here. I am not familiar with who is in the Bellisserian Bureau of Bureaucracy (BBB). I am a Bellisseria resident who loves to take photographs for my Flickr account. For this reason I wanted to join the BBB Users Group because I wanted to check out the passport locations for photo ops. I followed the instructions to join, and it was pretty easy to do. I am commenting here in case anyone interested in joining it knows that it is not a hard thing to do for anyone who is a Bellisseria resident.
  7. I've been trying to decorate my new Mediterranean home in between holiday gatherings and activities, and while I still have more to do, I am pretty close to getting it there just in time to celebrate NYE at my favorite music joint this fine evening. Happy New Year, everyone!
  8. As far as rolling your preferred location, here is how I see it. When the Mediterranean theme opened, there were some GREAT Ranch locations that opened up as some folks abandoned good spots to get ones in the new theme. At that point, people were able to put in tickets to get really choice Ranch spots some even on coastal regions. I watched several great Ranch locations be claimed this way. Also, the best is yet to come if you are looking for a water location. They will add more Med regions that will have great lake/river/coastal locations AFTER the date you can open a ticket to claim one, and they will eventually create coast lines around both the Mediterranean and Ranch regions giving some parcels ocean views if that is what you are seeking. If there is one message that has become clear to me watching these 2 themes unfold, it is: PATIENCE, GRASSHOPPA!
  9. I, for one, am loving the new LaraX! I am into the slim girl avatar but with some curves! I tend to spend a lot of time putting together each of my outfits so I save my faves in the outfit gallery. I use Firestorm so I am not sure if this functionality is available in other viewers. My plan is to use both Lara 5.3 for my old outfits and LaraX for new outfits and add links for the appropriate body and shape for either one to the outfit based on what the clothing requires. This way the body is part of the outfit and when I am doing a quick change, I don't have to think about it much. Just change and go! Happy shoppping, everyone!
  10. Stormy Surfing with Sharks and Shipwrecks... You never know what you are going to find at the bottom of the ocean right off the coast of Rigamarole in Bellisseria. The cave behind the waterfall is cool too.
  11. Here at my ranch setting up a lemonade stand... well sort of. Limited to one small cup per customer.. and we'll need to see some ID.
  12. If you are looking for a nice Vic on water check this out. I upped a few alts to PP+ during the most recent LH Great Land Grab to get a nice Ranch parcel. After the mission was accomplished, I rolled for some Trads and Vics and found some great ones. I can't keep them as I have to downgrade my alts so I can afford to eat something more than peanut butter and jelly for dinner every night so I thought I would post some nice Vic locations here that I will be giving up tonight at 7 pm SLT. Here they are: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Neville/107/176/32 - located on the coast of a cute little island facing the new Vic Island that has yet to be released. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bridesmere/68/176/23 - located on a small island with 3 sides water. (I've had this one for quite a while but found another l like better. I hate to give it up, but... peanut butter and jelly.. just saying.) If interested, feel free to check them out. No security and doors are open. If you really like one, please let me know and I can see about releasing one when you can try for it.
  13. I will be releasing a trad on water with a little park in front tonight 5pm SLT in case you are interested. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sweetmarsh/176/172/26
  14. One of my favorite memories of visiting those places as a kid was how mad my dad got when they put bumper stickers on our car while we were in the attractions that were very difficult to remove. Good times! 😆
  15. @Patch Linden Are you referring to Ruby Falls?
  16. I chose the Spring View Model which has one really big open space off the the left as you walk in. I used the big open space as a living/dining room and the smaller space at the back of the house as a kitchen. For the living/dining room, I centered the furniture off a centrally located feature (a fireplace in this case) with a grand piano towards the front of the room and a dining table towards the back of the room. I used area rugs to delineate the spaces. This style may not be for everyone, but I love wide open loft-like spaces and enjoy the challenge of trying to make them more livable/cosy. Living/Dining Kitchen/Breakfast
  17. I, for one, am loving this ranch theme! I'm born and raised in TN and spent many years in TX, and I have to say the Moles did a great job of capturing the whole rural (ranch/farm) concept. Walking around the ranch regions really gives me the whole vibe of the calm beauty of a country rural setting that I grew up with. Many thanks and kudos from me to LL and Moles!
  18. The whole thing is so well done! It's probably lucky for me that this wasn't around 15 years ago when I first joined SL, because I would have probably never logged off. This is excellent marketing for Second Life and fun for SL avatars old and young alike!
  19. In the new WelcomeHubLindenHomes region, there are demos of each Linden home theme and 2 vacant 2048 parcels, one (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/WelcomeHubLindenHomes/168/117/26) that looks like it is for the anticipated, not-yet-released ranch theme home, and another one (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/WelcomeHubLindenHomes/99/163/28) that has a big sign in it that says "More coming soon. Watch this space!" Could there be another 2048 theme coming soon after the ranch theme?
  20. I had an alt that had this parcel and abandoned it. Just to see what would happen, as the alt I tried to get it back to see if I could, and I did after about 3 or 4 tries. Then I put it out on this thread to alert anyone who might be interested. It could have been total luck to be able to get it back, but it at least proved it didn't go to the bottom of the queue. I wanted to make sure it was possible for someone to get it before I put it out here.
  21. I have a log on the coast in a sim with only 10 houses that I am putting back at 6 pm SLT tomorrow. It has 2 sides on the coast, and right now it has the Grandview set up with the tall windows facing water. Here is the link: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Piney Trail/167/103/52 If you want to check it out, please feel free to visit.. the door is open. If you are interested, you might want to have all your rolls saved up because it might take a few tries to get it.
  22. Perhaps this one is alien speak for "Happy Indictment Day"? It would not surprise me.
