Aren't you the same guy who asked what a viewer is and where to find the search in another thread?

Here's a  good tip, worth at least 500 L ... and I give it to you for FREE:

Learn how SL works and how to use it. Explore the grid, get a hobby, do fun stuff. You soon will see you don't really need any money to have a satisfying SL experience.

Okay, here's the real answer, the one easy to grasp for you:

nobody will give you 500 l just like that. SL is like RL in that regard. You gotta work for the money. But you don't have any skills so nobody will give you a job.

Nothing in life is 'free'...either RL or SL.  I like the suggestion to play 5-6 hours to 'earn' your lindens.  Do not expect anyone to give that to you.  If you go to busy places like clubs and IM people asking for money, you will be ejected and banned so quickly, you will not know what happened.

Buy some L$!

Come inworld and play the Linden Realms game that is operated by Linden Labs.  Just do a search for Linden Realms in places.  You can make 500L in one day if you play for 5 or 6 hours without any breaks.

Or you could buy L$ with real currency, and make 500L in a matter of minutes in a minimum wage job.

Did you find the Naruto games in Second Life of which you were very interested recently?

As everyone else has said, you can't get Lindens for 'free' without doing something in return, unless you have a really good friend in SL that doesn't mind paying for your entailment.  Don't beg , its considered rude and pathetic and you'll get yourself banned from most places if you do it in world to say nothing of the fact that you will find it hard to make any friends that way.

You can buy Lindens on the web site.  $500L is the equivalent of  $2.32 US. right now.   If you can afford a computer and internet, you can afford to buy Linden's.  If you can't, get a RL job and work a few minutes to earn it or give up buying something in RL to get it.  If you CHOOSE not to, then that's your choice and problem.  SL is not a life necessity. You may find a few places that will give a newb one or two Linden or as suggested games or clubs that will pay you a bit, but you'll spend days accumulating enough to get 500L.

Contrary to what you may think, heard, or have been told, you are not entitled to free entertainment in SL, just a free basic account.  After that, its up to you to provide for yourself.  There are plenty of generous creators that offer free things even enough to provide for most everything you need,  but you have to make an effort to find them.  If you need cash, learn a skill and get a job in SL if you don't want to put any of your RL money into it but don't be a freeloader.  No one respects that except other freeloaders.

It's not really all that hard to find lindens without that much work.  Look for groups on SL that deal with free lindens.  They award you with lindens if you do a series of surveys or trying out programs on the internet.

i would like to suggest not following  links to websites to do that though..because there are all kinds of scams out there on the grid that are meant to get account information from users..

be very careful..

The best way to get "free" lindens is to enter party contests with a couple of friends working together. Most will pay out several hundred lindens for 1st place and decreasing amounts for 2nd and 3rd. Also in most cases, the contests are based on votes by other guests at the party. With everyone voting for themselves or refraining from voting, a person can easily win with the help of 3-4 friends. In fact, the rule of thumb is you need 4 votes for every ten entries (people in the contest, NOT people at the party) to win 1st or 2nd place.

Contests are usually posted in the SL events section under either nightlife / entertainment or contests. My BF and I used to go to Orgy Island and win quite frequently with the help of another couple until we were accused of cheating. They have L$500 contests daily - sometimes more often - and there is no fee to enter. The last time we were there it was taking three votes - my BF and the couple we went with - to win 1st or 2nd. Good luck!

you on it

+

about getting accused of cheating. how dumb is that. the sim owners who run those kinda contests actual want you to do exactly what you said. teleport in your friends and vote

can only think the person who say you are a cheater is some other player in the contest

+

only time is cheating is if use bots or alts to pimp yourself. most contests tho are pretty on to that cheat and deal to people who try that one

I would say by working.

Places will want 2 weeks or a month in SL usually. If you are newer, spend the time putting together a decent avatar that is appropriate for the work. Hang out at a place where someone is doing what you are interested in. Who knows, they may even help you get started in some way.

If you are willing to spend a lot of time in SL basically doing nothing, I recommend cone jumping. Search for Bletaverse (yes, that is how it is spelled) and soon you will be able to make up to L$20 an hour. It is boring work, as you can't do much else while you are waiting for each cone. And you will need to keep an eye on your computer while you wait. But you can make decent L$ this way and you don't need any extra software (like a DJ needs) and you don't need to have any clue how to emote (like dancers and escorts need).

What's cone jumping? We had a long thread years ago (in the RA forum) about cones. I don't remember anything about them except that they were cones and were basically used by place owners to build traffic numbers. I've completely forgotten what benefit they were to the people who went from cone to cone.

Cones

"Explore Second Life and earn free Linden Dollars at the same time. Teleport from Traffic Cone to Traffic Cone and earn free Second Life Money at each place that you visit!"

That reads to me very much like they are fudging to get around the Traffic Rulees:

"After staying a while on the land around the cone,"

Could having to stay in that specific locaton be considered 'camping?'
