I don't think LL cares. The BBB doesn't seem to carry as much weight as it once did.

And is another reason a lot of people don't want anything to do with SL. It's one of the most ignorant policies I've ever seen in 60 years. It's no different from punishing a child and not telling them what they did wrong. How the hell are they supposed to do anything about it if they don't know what is wrong? You can NOT expect someone to change their behavior if you do not inform them what the offending behavior is. That's like crapping in one hand, wishing in the other and expecting the one you are wishing into to fill up first.

You should turn that into a forum game.... somehow.

I'm still waiting for an answer to my question. Which just happens to be the very first one in the thread. Why are we being forced to agree, in order to remain a resident of SL, to having a financial account that most of us are never going to use because we never cash out? That is coercion and will be causing people to agree under duress. Why would a company do such a thing to it's customers? Why isn't it opt in? Why isn't there at least an opt out with the ability to opt in later if we change our minds? Why is Tilia trying to cover up their legal responsibility for any USD amounts or personal information that gets stolen should the database ever be accessed illegally? Why won't LL answer these questions?

There could be 100 threads covering the same topic but you might not find them if they don't have any tags or if you don't know the right tags to use to find it through search.

The ability to buy good furnishings for my home and do the needed repairs and remodeling for pennies on the dollar. Build tools would make arranging things so much easier and cleaning behind and under the stove and other heavy furniture. Texture change HUDs so I can re-upholster or paint or wallpaper at will. Derendering all the noisy neighbors and their yappy little dogs that never stfu. Flower beds you don't have to weed or water. Never having to clean the toilet!

There used to be places set up by residents for other residents to set as home and use as log in spots. There's bound to be a few still around.

Problem is LL doesn't want to he held accountable. They never have. They've proven that time and time again.

No, it isn't. It's a huge turn off to SL as a whole. My method of communication is my choice, not yours, not LL's, not anyone else's. And you didn't give a single thought to the people in SL who have partial or full hearing loss. How is voice going to be a carrot for us? I choose how, when, where and with whom to be social, not you, not LL, not anyone else. So much for win/win.

Because you probably aren't the only woman in their SL lives and they are not just friends. The wife probably either doesn't know they mess around or does and the guys are trying to hide it. Been there, done that. He knows what will happen if I ever catch him doing that again.

What good will that do those of us who have hearing loss? Are not these "meetings" conducting in voice?

I think what is being said is that most game devs 'publish' what the plan is so that players are informed. Basically all it is, is posting what projects they plan on releasing during the month/year. Lots of them do it. Empyrion: Galactic Survival does it, Planet Nomads, to name two that I play myself from Steam. You just have to look at the forums once in a while and read those posts to know what is going on. Keeping players/customers informed is an important part of developing now because players are demanding transparency in that regard.
