You could grab an older LL Home as well. Though if you are looking for mainland, there are a lot of nice places. This is how I shop for mainland - it is the fastest, most efficient way to do it. Decide what size you want before hand and how much you're willing to spend for it. Open map and look around the continent you're interested in for the yellow For-Sale indicators. Click the tiny price tag that appears on each yellow overlay - That shows size and price and price-per-meter. If the price and size are right, TP to that parcel and have a GOOD look around. Check for nearby ban lines, unsightly neighbors, sky junk, etc. Cam from FAR away to see what the surrounds look like. Turn on World->View->Show Property Lines - so you can see the shape of the parcel. Take a free Lag Meter with you so you can see region performance (https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Lag-Meter-with-Land-Info-and-other-functions-MESH-Uses-1-prim-only/2263471) If the parcel looks interesting and meets your quality criteria - create a landmark. For these I sale my LM like so: LAND-Region Name (This way all those LMs stay together and easy to delete when done) Build a list of maybe up to 10 locations. Then bounce between them, process of elimination. Good luck!

Do this: Start up in RECOVERY MODE. Then run Disk Utility on your SSD or Hard Drive. Click the repair button and let it finish. Then do it again. I always do it three times just to be sure. Restart and try agin. If the problem persists, go to Mac App Store and grab a free Uninstaller app ( I use APP ZAP: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/app-zap/id499259282?mt=12) - Uninstall Firestorm with it (Uninstaller app cleans *everything*) - the download and reinstall. Things should be working as expected at that point.

I still can't see why they choose the word "Necro" - and if it's a meme then I feel it makes sense why the other word pops into my head, possibly an intended effect because meme. LOL

Who the heck came up with the "necro" description for posts or threads, anyway> Every time I see the word necro, the word philia pops into my head. Okay - this is major. That is NOT Heterocera nor Sansara or any other existing RR. It also cannot be the existing Bellisseria because the only RR we know of is still in progress and that is definitely Bellisseria decoration in the rocks. For some, maybe, for a majority, not really. Or, at least, not by very much at all. By the time most humans reach the ages of 14-16 bone structure is pretty close to being set and it is the soft tissue that begins it's change-spurt. What @Wulfie Reanimator says will be the most profound effect as far as SL Avatars go: it will be the shape of facial features (in the soft, fleshy bit) that helps determine age in a visual way. A couple examples are the Catwa Steffi head and one from Ca/Eg <?> - but also with the right skin, one that does not add a lot of shadow under the cheek or create a squarish jaw-line as most teens still have a relatively softer-looking face. I don't claim to be an expert in the subject, other than to say I deal with human imagery in my day job a lot and have studied human proportions in-depth (there is actually a mathematical relation to "within normal natural limits" and so on.).

Thank you! I read that a long time ago, but that one is hard to remember. My favorite alphabet history is the ampersand (&) - it was actually the last letter of the alphabet, meaning "and". And when we sang our ABCs we would get to the end and sing "X, Y, Z, and per se AND" - then we slopped it up (as we usually do) and slurred it to "ampersand" and then it was removed from the official alphabet! That was already announce as a definitive YES. Yes it was. On the DVD Mel Brooks intro (and warning) says that movie cannot be made today and that it's purpose was to take all the racism out from the hush-hush under the table and drop it into everyones lap in the open. I have read numerous times that it is that movie that started the open discussion, and be effect, the largest societal change of attitudes about the subject. So, in short, it did its job. And that's a good thing, because sometimes truth hurts. And one thing I appreciated: He tried to offend *everyone* - by race, religion, culture, all of it. If you can sit through that entire movie without feeling a slap in the face at least once, something is wrong with you.

I am willing to bet real legal tender cash that they will be here before the promised official Linen Lab open-source simulator software that was promised so you could run your own officially Linden Lab-sanctioned estate of regions from your own computer and share your SL world with the rest of the SL community by plugging into the SL grid. PROTIP: If you quote anyone who misspells a word or uses the wrong word, you can add [sic] just behind that word. For your own intentional misspelling, you can use parenthesis to denote it. You make great points and I'm not saying it's the victim is at fault, rather I am saying that whatever happens to them is on them. I concur that they are still a victim and it is unfortunate that something like such has happened. In the same vain, my purview is and always has been: accountability. Own your actions, good or bad, seek responsibility, good or bad, never pass the buck when it's your buck to embrace. Sometimes truth hurts, I've felt that sting many times myself, in-world and here. As painful as it is, I will admit when any counterpoint or comment convinces me that I am mistaken at best and wrong at worst. Otherwise, I will press my point uo to where I feel that point is as clear as I can make it (which, unfortunately, may take more than one comment post.) So my counter-points (and that's all they are, I'm not saying you're wrong) are: A very recent newcomer to SL, unfamiliar with the L$ economy and not yet wary of the seriousness of risks like this. As a newcomer, I tend to read everything because I am still in learning mode. if I see a dialog that looks vastly different from all others, it will get my attention. Non-English speaking, and unsure of what the words mean Non-english speaking should be using a system that is set to their native language, so even the dialog should be presented in their native language. Medically or psychologically impaired. This is a fair point, though I would presume that they are under supervision of some kind, or, if they are cognitive enough to earn or buy Linden Dollars, they will be cognitive enough to know when the system is asking permission to spend those Linden Dollars. Distracted by screaming children, barking dogs, telemarketers ... Which makes my exact point: haphazardly dismissing the dialog by clicking the "Approve" option, rather than saying NO or IGNORE. (And to be clear - they could just leave it there, it will stay there until an option is elected and even just logging out will cancel it and then ask again when logging back in.) So we can either agree to disagree or agree that we can both be correct.

This is the one and only, singular possible method of actually "harming" another person in SL that I have ever heard of in all my time in SL and I've been here for a few days. Even with $L-stealing objects, you still have to *approve* it happening. If you have a trigger-click-finger and don't read dialog boxes before dismissing them, then whatever happens is on you and only you. Just saying.

The horrific shopping experience at TMP makes all others feel tame. Now I'm curious of your impression: More than a "pet peeve" or not? LOL That is because, based on the overwhelming majority of sentiments recorded enthuse these forums about anything TMP, I have come to the conclusion that they have declared any and all visitors to their premises to be an enemy of evil proportions, as it would seem they try their absolute best to discourage having any contact with them whatsoever, thereby ensuring that those who actually suffer the horrific shopping experience and make their way through to actually literally purchase their product at unheard-of prices for comparable product across the entire grid, are, in their minds, imbecile and masochist enough to actually pay for the privilege of being emotionally, intellectually, cognitively, and financially heavily-abused. ~Takes a deep breath and nods, nods~ (That long sentence is known as "verbose", sorry to everyone, it's literally opposite of my usual attempt at pithy communication.
