Either way, it does work. I've received gifts from total strangers, and I mean from people who didn't't even chat with me. The reason for the amusement is that in Japanese culture, a feminized non-gay man( as in pretty, not necessarily in action or mannerism) is called a "Man-Princess" - and the amusement is the oxymoron (A "macho" man-princess? Like "Jumbo-Shrimp" LOL) Think of the Lord of the Rings Elves wearing bodies like Aesthetic.

This is the official policy stated in the FAQ. Whether it's true or works in an uneven manner is another story altogether.

Good that you've submitted the ticket. I don't know about this specific issue, though whenever I've submitted a ticket it usually takes at least a day or two or three. Depending of the problem, it was either fixed quickly, or I needed to provide additional information (which you can do by replying to the email). I can only say this: if they need more information, give it to them, be polite, remember that you are only one person and they deal with hundreds of people each day. I wish you good luck in resolving your case.

Neat'o idea, though I'm not sure it would work. With the predominant paranoia for security orbs throughout SL and very much so on Bellisseria, it would be more like "grief or ban" that "trick or treat". LOL

Ditto this. I will often decline a friendship request when asked and offer my calling card (yes, really) because it's like "letting them down softly"; likes it's not a "hard no". Calling cards are also useful to drop into notecards.

I rez the self-unpacking HUD and answer NO to animation and CANCEL the received folder dialog. Then commence to right-click, choose OPEN, and go about my merry way. I prefer complete and total control over my inventory and refuse to allow any script to dump anything in there. And as stated before: it's my system, just as you have your own system, and others will have theirs. For me the ideal world would be a simple box set to "open" on left-click. See how we all have different preferences? This is why the variety of methods is a good thing, I suppose. But a pet-peeve will alway be a pet-peeve to those who have them. LOL

You can easily edit the attached box and copy from the inventory window. Just saying. My pet-peeve would be the opposite, boxes with a die script when rezzed. Like you (and most people) I also have a system and that system requires rezzing then using the system "open" window where I manually drag the items I want to where I want them LOL The one about auto-subscribing should be listed first and again every other line just to emphasize how utterly evil those are. 👺

LAQ has an okay one (looks like Asian-mixed-race), so does Catwa (also Asian-mixed). I'm currently using Genus (Classic face) which can be made to look authentically Chinese pretty well (because it's not just the eyes, but the entire head) - I haven't tried Japanese or Korean on it, though - the *BEST* and most accurate Asian heads are at the Genesis Lab store, and the ironic thing is that you can choose any of the v3 Bento heads, the Asian look comes from the skin pack you get (their skins actually shape the head in 3D, not just textures, but depth as well) - and there are two excellent ones: one is Japanese/Korean looking (I forget the actual name of it) and the Fei skin is absolutely the most accurate Chinese face I've seen in all my time in SL up to the moment I write this. Nothing else even comes close. (I'll plop one of my Flickr pictures to who you - at the bottom) I recommend you grab the demo of all the heads and the demo of the Asian faces you're interested in. Then try those demo skins on each demo head because each combination creates a unique look (it's actually amazing they way they work). Good luck! The Genesis "Fei" skin on ...
