  1. I think I’m looking to put down roots. When I’ve rented from private estates, I bounced around constantly. My inventory has a lot of houses that I would trade out. It’s been interesting to see how my search for the perfect Bellisseria home has refined my goal. Even with the choices available within the themes, I’ve generally picked one style of home and stuck with it.
  2. I never thought that I would ever need or want more than one alt. Then Bellisseria came along. Of course it is my alts that have the keeper spots. I’m up to three now, and I’m starting to think of them as my sisters. Maybe I need one more, since I have four sisters in RL.
  3. I’ve been green with envy with some of the amazing spots @Alwin Alcott has landed. I’ve landed some lovely spots, too. But the keeper under my main account continues to elude me.
  4. I tried just now, because I was on timeout from last night, when I did land a camper in Hooten Holler. It had a lot of the elements that I like, but I just felt cramped in that location. It wasn't on a peninsula. Back in the pool it went. I'm on time out again.
  5. I’m like you, Chloe, I love green and sea. I never thought I could get into sand, especially with the camper regions. I was shocked that my alt landed a sand camper on Carnival, and I decided to try it out. Of course it helps that it’s a little island. The camper faces the endless sea. Very peaceful. I haven’t given up the dream of green and sea. The search continues.
  6. I’m one of those rare people that uses the standard SL viewer, but I’m also familiar with Firestorm. I’ve been able to get the RGB values from the color picker in the viewer. I mix the colors that I like and save a paint chip for future reference.
  7. When you first posted, I suspected that you had landed one of the old style Linden homes. I started to respond then, but decided against it for fear that I’d muddy the waters. I’m glad that you got the information you needed from a variety of sources. 😊
  8. I’m a little confused. My alt caught a Carnival camper a couple days ago. Maybe they’re trickling out, because a couple were still owned by Governor Linden when my alt got hers (or mine). You see, I am easily confused. 😊
  9. I am no longer homeless. As a tiny house fan, I like my homes to be small but on water. I got this camper in Lilac Grove yesterday. It's a perfect spot to launch my kayak.
  10. I landed a camper here, and I feel like it's calling out for palm trees. Since sand isn't quite my cup of tea, I abandoned it.
  11. Hi Tenly, I suggest checking out the Linden Homes category in the Land Forum. There are hundreds (or maybe thousands) of threads devoted to getting your premium home. I find it a helpful source of information. Thanks, @Alwin Alcott for mentioning this earlier.
  12. In my early days of SL, I had more interaction with my neighbors on private estates. I got to be friends with several people. It looked like it might be that way in Bellisseria, too. In my first Bellisseria neighborhood, no one was ever around when I was on. I keep bouncing around looking for that perfect Bellisseria location. At this point, I’m happy that people are hosting public events in Bellisseria. I might meet one of my neighbors there eventually.
  13. Thanks, Kitten! It kills me that I am homeless, while my two alts have the homes of my dreams. The only reason I play Game of Homes is that I want that keeper on my main. I would love this as a perk of Super Premium.
  14. Most of my trees are too big for my yard. I think the wisteria looks good. With the gorgeous landscaping the Lindens and Moles have done, I haven’t needed to add a tree. I’ve just been filling in flower beds around the house with the included flowers in the content packs. I have used Heart’s Wildwood maples with the Trads. I would use them with the Vics, since there are a variety of styles that are included.
  15. I just saw all four themes show up on the land page (7:05 p.m. SLT), and I'm in timeout. Good luck to those who are trying!
  16. That’s why I gave up my gorgeous sandy parcel in Granby Court, because I love lush green. Fortunately my alt landed a similar green spot up in Bertram; otherwise I would have been kicking myself for giving up such a lovely spot on my main account.
  17. His post is at the top of this thread. This is the first time I immediately took down my Christmas decorations in SL. This is one of those rare years where there was no snow in RL where I live in Michigan. I still have my decorations at home up and will probably take them down before the New Year. The guidelines Patch gave was no more than 30 days before a holiday. Decorations would need to come down 15 days after the holiday.
  18. Swap Maybe a perk with super premium that we would be able to trade homes between main and alt accounts, say once a quarter. For me, at least, my alts have gotten the primo spots, while I remain homeless. I got my first houseboat in August, after trying for months. It’s on an alt account. Then I invested in a third premium account to try for the Vics. Of course, the spot that ended up being a keeper is on the second alt account. This is such a first-world dilemma.
  19. They will show up if they are available. They were available all last week. All 4 themes showed up on the land page. No refreshing was necessary. I decided to invest in another alt. I got a beautiful Vic in Granby Court. I abandoned it today, so someone who loves sand could have it. They might be rolling out new regions with Vics after the holidays. Today they released more houseboats and traditionals. You’ll get one eventually, maybe sooner than you think. Good luck!
  20. When I've had a traditional, I've avoided the Winchester; because it seemed huge. The Vics seem massive (except for the Doyle). I got a traditional in Worth a little while ago. The Winchester seems cosy in comparison.
  21. Since the 67 Li are owned by others, you might have a squatter above you. That’s a lot of Li for the Lindens or Moles to leave behind. I’ll be interested in your update.
  22. I've seen lots of Vics (of course) and houseboats released, but were there regions of new traditionals released, too? I tried for a few trads and they were abandons. Just curious to where they might be.
  23. Kudos to @Patch Linden, the Lindens behind the scenes, and the Marvelous Moles. Thank you so much for your wonderful work. I know these end-of-year deadlines are tough. You folks outdid yourselves. I didn't think it would be possible to see all four themes available on the land page. You did it in 2019!!!! Best wishes for a relaxing holiday, merriest of Christmases, and happiest of Hannukahs and Kwanzaas! All the best for 2020!!!!
