  1. I think my alt is the first resident of Whistling Weasel.
  2. I love discovering these gems from the old neighborhoods. Congrats, Sylvia!
  3. I feel your pain, but I also spent much of my career working in some form of customer service. It ain’t easy. I do believe that covid has impacted their support team. There are more people in SL, because they’re stuck at home. More people, more usage, more problems. I really do hope your ticket gets resolved soon. I want to echo @Sylvia Tamalyn ‘s sentiment. There’s an even better spot awaiting you than the one you originally hoped for.
  4. On a happier note, my alt got her camper back in Antelope Lake, that she abandoned about a week ago. Fireflies on the lake!
  5. There were two of us stalking that location. I went to take some muffins out of the oven and came back and saw the new owner. That's a lovely location.
  6. It didn't stay in maintenance long. It was gone within seconds, which is why I rarely post my releases. By the time you read the post, it's gone.
  7. I'll be releasing a Vic in Quixote with a backyard view of the water at 10:45 a.m. Here's the location if you want to check it out. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Quixote/28/48/24
  8. The Wallower is my favorite houseboat style! We even have some of the same add-ons. How in the world did you decorate so fast?
  9. Even if there’s a tropical theme in the works, I wish there were palm trees in the outlying sandy regions. The campers on the western side of Bellisseria always looked so barren to me.
  10. It really is pure luck. I gave up my houseboat that I had since August when the log homes came out at the beginning of April. It was a beautiful location, but I wanted to try for something else. Since then, I've managed to land several houseboats by just logging into the land page. I usually throw them back, because they don't compare to the first one I got. Today's was a keeper. You'll probably get a houseboat sooner than I did (3 months) even though there's only a few showing up on the land page. Good luck!
  11. You inspired me to try for a houseboat. I have some sea turtles that I love to see swimming in the water.
  12. @Jon Ree in the Bellisseria Citizens group maintains an incredibly thorough landmark collection. He usually updates it twice a month.
  13. I know your intent was of genuine inquiry. It’s easy for threads to get quickly out of hand. Thank you @Sylvia Tamalyn for citing the post I was thinking of.
  14. Oh, oh, watch out sailors! You might have to dodge Sylvia on a waterway near you. 😉
  15. Since you are new to the forums, you wouldn’t have seen the thread from January about “those crazy neighbors.” I wanted to find the post where either a Linden or Mole states that it was not in good form to name and shame residents for their covenant violations or design choices. Of course, I couldn’t find the exact post I was thinking of. @Patch Linden eventually locked that one with an explanation. Maybe it needs to be reiterated here, since there’s been an influx of new residents.
  16. I’m not one to hang around once I abandon a home, but one time I saw the name change, just seconds after I abandoned.
  17. I’m surprised at how effective live chat is in resolving issues. There was a snow covered Linden winter cabin near my camper this week. I told Vix Linden it would be low priority, considering how busy the Moles and Lindens are. He passed the info on to the Moles. The snow was gone the next day. Yay for live chat!
  18. I thought you were going to mention Effing Parade or Wazoo. I was hoping to never land a house in either region. My alt just got a Vic in Effing Parade. Oh well And the irony is that I just landed a lovely home under my own account in Quaker Meeting.
  19. I agree they would be a wonderful addition to the content pack. I'm fortunate to have them in my backyard in the summer in RL. Yesterday I stumbled into an abandoned camper in Antelope Lake. That's where I noticed the fireflies on the lake.
  20. I wish we could have two campers, since I won”t use the other 512 on Mainland. Ideally I would love to have a camper on a 1024 parcel (which has already been wished for by a previous poster). It’s not that I even need the 351 prims . It’s the space between campers that I crave. @Beth Macbain there are fireflies in the camper regions, too.
  21. It looks like my alt might have stumbled into the release of Jarka. I usually doubt myself until Hendrix Portal reports it.
  22. You know everyone's waiting for you to do it. You had such great success with this one. 😃
  23. I wondered if the rational for limiting the rotation to one home was an experiment to see how residents would respond to that option. You know how things went awry with the double homes rezzing on top of each other at the start of the release. Could you imagine the problems that might have arisen if all the houses had that rotation option from the start? I would like to see 90 degree increments-- 90, 180, 270, 360.
  24. Speaking of Scranton Woods, my alt got a log home that is kitty corner to the river. The Grand View faces in the right direction. I/She will be giving it up. This is the landmark if you want to check it out. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Scranton Woods/227/79/52 You may message me here or inworld to attempt a hand off. 😄 When it rains, it pours. I've got a Trad in Le Prince, where the backyard abuts houseboats. It's from the original April 15, 2019. A charming neighborhood. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Le Prince/14/126/29 And another riverside log home in Driveby: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Driveby/218/94/53 These will be released around 10:00 a.m. SLT (Sunday, April 26)
  25. Yes, but one can always dream. ❤️
