Even with the Alt transfer use case, I still wouldn't use this unless I had written it (that could even be a fun little thing to play around with). Simply because, even if the debits were not a problem (very feasible as I have written a couple for friends so no problem there, full source and line by line explanation supplied for them natch) I still would not be comfortable with the info being passed on without me being aware.

We can quote Mr. M but you have to explain pounds shillings and pence to those who never had to suffer them. Also Farthings =^^=

You would have to run tests to see how much faster as a lot of other factors involved (amount of data to process etc). In this case as its a one second timer my gut instinct as ever would be to go with the clearer version - but my LSL ninja skills are no match for others (I did all that back in my Mcode days ta=^^= ) so I prefer to make it easier for me to read later. Inventory Question BETA/Real Server
mikka Luik replied to Ted Burt's topic in Building and Texturing Forum
Apart from a very odd instance last week of items made on beta showing up in Agni inventory (they were there but could not be rezzed and a rare cache clean shifted them and think there were general asset problems either at the time or about to break) I have never had much issue with the inv being replicated. However, unless there was a very compelling reason I think I would avoid making massive deletions for 24 hours or so on Beta. What I have got in to the habit of is being strict about keeping beta inv apart from main in its own set of folders. Tedious but still. Plus can be as messy as I like there, because we all keep our main in totally sane order after all .... -
Try the LSL wiki for 'visitor counter' or similar heres one http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Visit_Monitor or use llGetAgentList with AGENT_LIST_PARCEL and a trigger or timer.

Lets see now I have: 8000/wk for 5000 LI = 1.6 L$/Prim (equiv) Homestead - bargain! 299/wk for 351 LI = 0.852 L$/Prim (equiv) Mainland - even more bargain! And love them both, enough to pick up another mainland parcelette. Because roads =^^= Am I following the money right here? Or is there some of that 'new mathematics' I heard about, which thankfully I am old enough to have missed.

The 32 bit TPV I use for OS seems to handle physics well enough - was playing with some doorframes/windows this evening and no problem walking through. To be on the safe side, all thats destined for SL is uploaded with the SL viewer of course.

The fact that if you can't handle lists within LSL then JSON is erm pointless? Also not sure what 'kick' means mate.

Race bending in Second Life

Sorry Pam but Dunkirk was a loss. I really do not care for a US re-imagining. As my wide spread family also has those who did not come back. Oh mea culpa - bits (my immediate) did BEF and DD and homeguard. I should have said. -

I forgot, it was December and anything that is armoured and swimming has my respect. Hell, the sparrows up here run in squadrons. Dawn, I have the urge to hum something along the lines of the RAF etc every dawn.. now there was a multi wossname effort. Sorry, honourary uncle was a wingco then. Dead now. and still trying to get my partner a flight in either a Viggen (drool) or a Spit for their birthday. -

Two good points. The first - 'nuff said. The second - Yes but it rather frames the whole in a US only view. As much as I might give a thumbs up to Doctor King, outside it seems nothing has changed much. The groups shift but.. On a personal note, my rather mongrel family can agree on one shared experience - Agicourt Day. As records show we were present on at least four sides. Also some of my Thai side are rather involved in - things. World is a big place. My SL is too. Oh yes - here I self identify as a Siam/Coon cross but always wanted to be ginger (ref Greebo). On Turtles - shocked me to bits to find one MidWinter in an outdoor pool in Lund, Sweden.... I almost dropped my felefel. -
Really Linden ? 3rd Party viewer name restriction
mikka Luik replied to Monti Messmer's topic in Second Life Viewer
Once upon a time (probably trademarked) it was known as the 'Silly Season'. Halcyon times when nothing happened because the press took its holidays. Seems like a century ago. -

Odd really. In all my travels I have never met a 'white' person. A few albinos, a few bleached skin (beautiful too) but nope. Lots of skin colours but never that. In balance, the 'blackest' people I have known were from the Sudan and they were beautiful too. The 'olive tone' from certain parts - well fan my face .... As a kitten I was subjected to some very Victorian tracts on race and worked out (to me - hey I was young) that it was more to do with the colour of ink available. Probably wrong on that too. Euro Mongrel and probably out of the Rift (interesting research on that too) and as can breed with others extant then - hey. If I had ever wanted to of course. Do understand the turmoil that comes out from over the pond. Lived there for a while. Oz too. Part and parcel of an empire that never was (ducks), As a Brit (ha) looking on as divide and mis-rule have always worked. -
