  1. @Marianne Little While scrolling flickr, I saw these and thought of you. Some other places to check, Tetra and Stories & Co have some cute mid height shoes. Reign also has a set called Jael I think that has all the foot heights included.
  2. To correct something I was wrongly preaching for awhile, Evolution heads definitely can use older applier skins made for Lelutka (but I'd use caution with buying them because while they technically can be used they are not made for them - might look weird in certain areas) , but the older applier makeups do not work because they have those areas only for hd appliers now. I got a lot of thoughts on why BOM is difficult, but I will try not to derail this thread so we can help Daphne get her brows in order.
  3. Honestly sounds like a brow base and not an actual set of brows. Depending on how old the Pepe skin is, those skins often don’t come with brows built in. If you have one of her newer skins and are BOM enabled, there is usually more than one face skin tattoo layers. One of them will have brows and the other one will have none for people who like to wear separate third party brows. Now if you have a pair of bom tattoo brows it is possible that they could be hiding under the face tattoo layer. Right click yourself, edit your outfit. A window should appear with a list of things you are wearing. You can change the order of how the tattoo layers appear without attaching/detaching - a pair of arrows on the right hand side of a selected tattoo layer . Moving the layer up would effectively put it on top and make it visible again. Often creators will name their brow base “ brows”which only controls the shape but is not your actual brows. If you can share a screenshot of your worn folder, it will be easier to help.
  4. Ahhh thanks for head up about the update. I had no idea 2.0 came out. I am usually pretty good at following news about when new versions are available, but alas! Anyways it looks like a pretty extensive overhaul on the hud. Love the new eye poser, looks like it will give you finer control over them ala the Axis hud. They refined their animations again, added some new face poses too. And now it looks like we have ear piercings as well as a boat load of other kinds of piercings! The turn around and sheer amount of updates is mind boggling.
  5. Apologies for the wall of text! Everyone is offering really great advice. As someone who has struggled with anxiety and clinical depression for most of my life, I've definitely had to find ways to deal with anger in the short term and long term. Short term being when you are in you are in the moment and faced with a person or situation that causes distress, and the long term being how one chooses to think about what happened after the initial incident has occurred. Therapy work is great for the latter, you can unpack what happened and hopefully find a way to process it. The short term is a lot harder. I agree with Matt that if possible find a way to extract yourself, do that. But sometimes you can't, and that is the hardest of all. Stay present, focus on your breathing, and try not to immediately personalize. It's important to build a tool box for yourself of things that help you when you are not feeling angry. Whether in a phone or notebook you keep handy, write each one down and refer to it in times of crisis. Things on my list: 1. Journaling/writing. I call this getting the poison out. Sometimes I just need to type or write out exactly what is on my mind with all the venom. Be brutally honest with yourself if you can. However, this not meant to be seen by anyone other than you and maybe your therapist. It will help you organize your thoughts and take you out of the heat of the moment. At some later point when things aren't so intense, perhaps it can offer you some insight as to the real underlying issue. 2. Like Matt, physical exercise is godsend for my mental health. I like to trail run, but walking in nature is great too. Try anything you like that allows you to be present in the moment with yourself. 3. Making sure to take care of my needs. Am I getting enough sleep, water, good food? These have huge impacts on how I feel and in turn how I deal with the world around me. Other things like making sure that my personal spaces are clean and organized are huge for me personally to ward off agitation. Cleaning in general is a bit like meditating for me. 4. Talk with a friend and/or therapist. I've been blessed to have several people in my life that are willing to actively listen to me, but care enough to stop me and point out wrong thinking and detrimental behavior on my part. Sometimes it sucks to hear the truth, but knowing these people got my back and are only looking out for what is best for me has helped me greatly with curtailing anger. 5. Some inspirational quotes. Sometimes I just need a pithy quote from a book , song, poem, or whatever to center me. Here is one on anger I randomly searched up. "Being angry is like holding a piece of burning coal in your hand and hoping the other person feels pain." - Wendy Merron. Your mileage may vary on this one, but it works for me! I think its wonderful that you opened up this way Gopi. It takes a great sense of character to take ownership of your issues, and honestly the admission of this is often the hardest part. I wish you good luck in learning to deal with these emotions in a healthy way.
  6. @Gabriele Graves I stand corrected! I think that idea got stuck in my head because applier skins were not put into the hud so I just assumed you couldn't use them , and that there were only areas that allowed for it were eyes and lips. Regardless that is good to know.
  7. Other way around actually. You can wear HD appliers made for Lelutka Evolution line on top of BOM on your Lelutka Evolution head, but you cannot wear BOM on top of appliers. Applier skins will not work on Evolution heads.
  8. So I had this issue years ago when I bought a vista walk separately because I have always made my own ao. You walk and when you stop moving the animation continues to play for several seconds before ending. Basically the priority on the walk was too high. Contact Vista, they should be able to get you straightened out.
  9. For moving hands I know I have some animations from Go & See and I think Oracul that are typing overrides. My absolute fave is the one that comes with vista animations body animators that is unfortunately not sold seperately I don't think. If you are looking for facial animators, Vista makes one that is just for the face that you can demo . It's expensive (I don't own it), but it seems well made. I do have the Happy Dispatch hud as well that has a face ao and also pretty great for making pictures. It also can be demo'd in world. I know a few of Vista's newer bento aos also include a bit of facial movement too so check those out too.
  10. Are you getting errors, like your shape being corrupted? One thing that sometimes works is changing groups . Not even sure why, but worth a shot!
  11. I'd recommend trying Glam Affair, they've made a ton of skins for the new Lelutka heads and are all bom . For further research the best thing to do is have a look at Flickr, most designers will post up ads. Search "Lelutka" itself there and it should give you a group that exclusively shows products made to work with Lelutka Heads. Good luck!
  12. @Annie Nova When I demoed it, I think they said to make sure you are wearing the new hud that comes with the petite mod and then the new chest should appear instead of the normal one. I think you can take off the hud after that though. I don't have the full version though so I can't say for sure.
  13. For me, I've owned quite a few heads over the years, and was never really happy until I found Lelutka Lake. About BOM make up and skins, I personally never entertained the idea of wearing my old skins and tattoo makeups on a regular basis. My system stuff is incredibly old (2007!), and the skill and technique of creators is so much better now. Stores like Izzies and AlaskaMetro who have offered system layers for as long as I can remember do have some older stuff that I can wear , but it really is mixed bag especially with lips. I can wear some stuff made for different heads but you generally want to wear stuff that is made with your head in mind, but this goes for any head really no matter the brand. If I were to put something on made for Catwa, the nose, corners of the mouth, and eyes would have shadows in all the wrong places. Some of that you can correct with fixes from stores like Izzies, but you'd be better off just finding something that was made for it instead. Old Lelutka appliers for lipstick and shadow do not work on the evolution heads. The only appliers that do work are new HD ones, and the creators are usually pretty good at stating this, but if its HD applier for Evolution, it definitely won't work on older heads either. Hd lips included in the hud can definitely be made to look better by playing with opacity as well as adding 4 different materials that add shiny and texture to them (remember to turn on Advanced Lighting to see it!) TL;DR of this : Some old stuff works, some doesn't. Experiment. Old lelutka appliers made for the older heads do not work on the new heads, just the HD ones. Should you buy? I'd say no if you are really attached to your old Lelutka appliers and look. That being said, its been an overwhelmingly great experience for me transitioning from Genus. I definitely understand the frustration some might have if they are not well versed in how BOM works. With all that said, I am happy to help anyone who is trying to figure it out. Feel free to give me a holler in world via IM or notecard.
  14. What Wulfie said is correct! Currently the genus head and legacy body are rigged slightly differently at the neck . I believe the Genus creator was working on fix for this but the store is currently shutdown due to another DMCA notice. The only thing you can really do is hide it with a choker necklace. I wore a simple black one for really long time before Lelutka implemented their own fix.
  15. @Un33 Yay, Lelutka :D. I love Mila and Tres Beau, but my current fave in skins is Pepe Skins. She released a beautiful dark skin called Aquarius a couple of months ago.
  16. Hey Un33! What kind of head do you have?
  17. The one I am wearing is the one Claire linked! https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/suPPort-Cleavage-Enhancer/1889905
  18. I'd definitely recommend going BOM if you can. It will give you a lot more freedom in customization which as someone who is very particular about every detail of their avatar I find this essential in the avatar customization game. Tough thing about cleavage add-ons is that unless they are made by the same creator of your skin, they will more than likely not match perfectly. I second checking out Izzies for possible solutions! Also I did check out that freebie BOM addon Claire posted, and in my opinion it is pretty decent. I am sure it would look even better on someone with larger breasts. https://gyazo.com/1f0da9acdacdeac65bf7b4d6a6386d56 First picture is me with no addon on, and the second one is obviously with it. These are modifiable so you can tint them which is a nice plus. My only concern is that I am not sure how these will look on darker skin tones even with the ability to tint.
  19. The (Juniper Blazer) top and jacket are from the Secret Store from 2016 so make sure to look towards the back of the store! The skirt is a separate as this set was shown with shorts on their flickr. They may have a skirt there too, but not sure. Tres Blah has a lovely pencil skirt that might work.
  20. I did some more digging, they created omega for clothing appliers, but none for skin or tattoos which is boggling. I found this resource, and I hope its okay to post. It's a fairly comprehensive table of male skin creators. It probably won't find you exactly what you are looking for since there is not a lot support for the Aesthetic body, but it can at least give you some names of skins in general to help him research and pick what would be best for him. I removed the link just because I wasn't sure if it was considered advertising or not since it had links to stores/mp. If anyone wants it, please hit me up in world. I am not online right now due to RL work, but I am pretty diligent with responding.
  21. @Alicendre BoisselTake a look at Not Found . I just had a look at their Flickr, and they have tons of Lelutka Evo bom skins for guys, and it looks like their bodies are bom/omega compatible. Worth a look!
  22. Hey Jennifer, the only store I can think of off the top of my head that has bom skins for Lelutka that are all in one is Amara Beauty. I am not sure how big of collection it is, but I do remember seeing a few the last time I was there. As for having an issue with the neck seams, many of the brands that have the face layer on tattoo, often have another tattoo layer to wear on top of head tattoo that will cover that neck seam. If it is not working, there are few things that could be going on. Bodies and heads will have a seam that cannot be fixed if one of the body parts has had the materials turned up too much. Even just a hair over can make it look weird. The next thing that could be an issue is that the head and neck are set at different sizes thus creating a line. I wear one of the newer Lelutka heads, in one of the more recent updates, they added a second head size with (SL) as an affix at the end. That head was to only be used with Legacy bodies and I think the Ruth one too. The head without "SL" at the end was for Maitreya and other bodies that it had previously worked with. I hope this was helpful. Good luck!
