SO...It's ok for you to skirt the rules but not other people? It's kind of hard to ask LL to uphold the TOS when you are violating it yourself. How would everyone feel if LL actually policed that and (poof) all your avatars that were created after five suddenly disappeared?

My guess is that because we no longer can talk about politics, religion or anything unrelated to SL that some people, that love to debate and argue, have taken to now giving LL what they asked for .

OMG, thank you. All I see from about 5 forum members are negative things. SL won't fix this. It's been this way since the beginning. LL is greedy. The forum sucks now. I'm not going to give my free time to help other people so LL can save money. Creators suck, The platform sucks. On and on and on. If you don't like it then just go.

Yet people don't hesitate to pay upwards of $2000 US for a fake piece of land. I think $200 is a steal. At least you get something for it.

Next time offer to pay a deposit with the remaining to be paid once you get the photos. If the photographer won't do that then find another that will. It won't prevent you from losing $L's but it will reduce the amount you lose if they end up being a scammer.

As a Caucasian person I have never, ever used this word. It has always been offensive to me. Who decided that this word was acceptable for people of color to use? I don't care who is using it, I still find it offensive. How black do you have to be for it to be "ok" to use? What if you look white but are 50% African American? If a word is offensive it's offensive, I don't care who is using it.

This is beyond ridiculous. For the complainers @belindacarson@Sid Nagy @Paul Hexemon this thread about how 24/7 Live support is essential to you please describe what issue you had during this time and the financial impact that it has had on you. Not something that potential could happen but an actual example of something that happened this weekend that caused you to lose money or not be able to access Second Life. I haven't seen one thread on here, besides this one of needless complaining, that anyone has had a life or death issue that they needed Live support and it couldn't wait until tomorrow.

I actually think that post should have not been added to. It confused me because I thought it was about the free heads given out in 2020. If you didn't know they were again doing it it is confusing since no additional information about the free head for 2022 was actually given when the post was resurrected. This one though is just a fun, lighthearted thread and I don't see any reason not to add to the post.

Very true statement right here...which was what a lot of forum members were doing before the changes. It's a more peaceful environment now to say the least.

Why would someone do this for free? You've had how many sims or ideas for a RPing sim and now want other to just give you services for nothing? I'm speechless.

You don't know that is not something unique unless you've actually contacted him. That's a huge leap saying that he wants to play SL with other peoples money without knowing anything about it.

It happens when people don't have permission to control the doors and windows. Add them to the access list and they can operate the doors/windows and the knocking will go away. It's in the control panel under "doors" I believe.

I doubt he's going to lay out his business plan here on the forum. That would be rather stupid if you ask me. Maybe just contact him In World.

It's only been 14 days since you posted the OP on the forum. I'm not sure why you are considering it a failure after so little time. As you found out people are not going to flock to a relatively unknown place. ADVERTISE! ADVERTISE! ADVERTISE! Get a Facebook account, Flickr account and swarm these platforms with what you've created. Someone is bound to see it eventually. You talk about what you spent and the sacrifices you made yet you are giving it all away for free so I'm not understanding this part. As far as wasting your free time I don't get it. Did you enjoy building it? Did you have fun having a vision and creating it and making it what you wanted it to be? How is that wasted time? I've built numerous things that only my eyes every saw and then deleted it and started over. Months spent on a RP sim that gained no interest BUT I had fun creating it and never considered it wasted time at all. Each time I improved my skills just a bit and I have had a blast doing it.

I think they have the backdrops but not the poses or props. Trying to avoid buying them.

Does anyone know of a photography region that has props or poses for Boudoir photos?

The problem with this is that if a person has harassed or offended a person enough to warrant a pretend restraining order then that should be a bannable offense which is dealt with with an AR report. There is no need for a middle ground approach at all. These tools are already in place. The OP has never said whether the person has been rude and abusive enough to warrant an AR report and if she has done that already.

They absolutely have a right to see you. You signed up for SL and that is part of the mechanics of the platform. The ability to prevent others from seeing you is not controlling your SL it's controlling their SL. I'm beginning to think that "they" are not the rude and malicious people in this story just by the way you respond.

Plus the resources that it takes to run two viewers at once. Before this new update I was able to do so easily. I now crash more often than not even just using one instance of the viewer.

He is obviously trying to be funny. If you want to be very sure contact support and ask them what you should do. You'd at least have record of you questioning it should something end up being "off". Also, you don't accept money from people as you know that it just goes into your account. How could they find you a party to this unless they can connect the dots back to you in some way.
