  1. Plus the resources that it takes to run two viewers at once. Before this new update I was able to do so easily. I now crash more often than not even just using one instance of the viewer.
  2. He is obviously trying to be funny. If you want to be very sure contact support and ask them what you should do. You'd at least have record of you questioning it should something end up being "off". Also, you don't accept money from people as you know that it just goes into your account. How could they find you a party to this unless they can connect the dots back to you in some way.
  3. This happens when a friend of mine go to a club together. We will normally dance far away from each other. Whomever gets IM'd first will tell the other what they responded with and type it back to them word for word. They don't seem to notice LOL.
  4. I do like this outfit especially the shirt. Would you share where you got it?
  5. Ah, what a delightful person you are! I can't imagine anyone ever being rude and abusive toward you. Thank you for the grammar lesson but I used it in the way I intended.
  6. Yes, at Bray's she had the NPC bots but they were regular accounts and I think you had to pay $L to make them a bot account? She would rez them out and you could dance with them. Same premise I think just the avatar is standing there already. You could talk in local to them and they would say things back. The male one she had was Halsey and very good looking if I might add. lol It was nice to go there and dance with another avatar without having to have two accounts running to dance with an alt.
  7. They are on all grids and really the only couple dance balls they use. I figured it was something that someone copybotted or got from here. That's why I was surprised SL didn't have one.
  8. OH it wasn't sad. They had one that looked like Jack from Pirates of the Caribbean. I just made him my dancing BF for the night and ran with it. It was actually kinda fun.
  9. I think what she is saying is she dances in a club as a job and doesn't want people to see her if they are rude and abusive. (just from looking at her profile and that she said she dances in SL). If that is the case then the management should be notified of the incidents.
  10. I would imagine saying "hi" to you might mean someone is being rude and abusive. But what you are wanting can't be done so continuing to argue about how you should have the right to do so is a mute point.
  11. ah, that makes sense why I haven't seen it in Second Life then. It was still pretty cool. Too bad someone couldn't figure out to do that legitimately.
  12. Peeve: When people have meltdown's on public forums and continue to embarrass themselves while thinking they are being cute and witty.
  13. I would assume that your homestead would be prorated and then you would be charged for the full region price for the days if you bought in the middle of a billing period. I would expect they would waive the set up fee for a new region. All speculation but when I upgraded to PP it was prorated.
  14. The Amimesh ones are cool where you can dance next to them. It was kinda fun to rez a NPC from the dance ball and couple dance with an NPC. I was surprised I hadn't seen this here. The only thing I've seen is Bot dancers which I think is a regular account turned into a bot account?? I don't know much about those but that was the closest I'd seen and the owner had to actually log them in.
  15. This really has nothing to do with the topic of the original question at all. I don't want this to become a discussion about how SL is better than Opensim. It's specifically about the two items that I posted about. Try to keep your comments centered around that.
  16. There are a couple of things that are in Opensim that I have not seen in Second Life and maybe I'm missing it or maybe it just hasn't been done. Both are kind of "cool to have". 1. A couple dance ball with the ability to rez a dance partner. This is a staple in Opensim but I've never seen one in Second Life. 2. Cloning pole dancer. You would dress your avatar how you wanted with clothes, hair etc and then rez the Dance pole and it would clone an exact copy of you dancing on the pole. I have no idea if the code is different for Opensim that allows this or just that no one has created anything like this here. Thought I would ask and see if anyone has any insight if there are anything like this in Second Life and where I might find it.
  17. You can purchase a homestead without having to own a region IF you are premium plus. The only difference between getting one between Dec. 1st thru the 31st is you save $40.
  18. That will give each store about 34 prims. I would gander a guess that is nowhere near an amount for a creator to sell hardly anything.
  19. I just would like to point out that you were quite rude in your OP right out of the gate. Next time you have an issue or a problem TRY coming at it from different view. You might find that "community" has always meant the same thing. Treat others how you'd like to be treated, which in your case was not nice at all.
  20. So this came out and I have a simple question. A homestead for PP members normally is the set up fee and then a monthly maintenance fee. Is the first month included in the set up fee or is that in addition to the monthly maintenance fee? I guess it would come down to if you are saving $149 in the month of December or $40.
  21. I have a suggestion. Contact LL support. No one here can help you with this. Sorry if this appears "trollish"
  22. Chill out? LOL. No one was insulting you in the least. All I was saying that if the price is 20k and I have 10k I am not going to be interested and it's a waste of time to have to go look. I did not know you could see the price by clicking the URL so thanks for pointing that out. Thank you for your kindness and your willingness to be open to suggestions.
  23. How come people don't put the prices on land when they are selling it? Frustrating that you have to TP there to find out what it costs. Sure, before I bought it I would TP to see it but it would be nice to know if it was anywhere near my price range first.
  24. LOL! Oh please. I'm left handed and it hasn't affected my life in the least. I think it's funny as heck.
  25. Do your customers though expect support when they buy something of yours that is still up there? Does it say on your products that you are no longer there and if they have an issue, any issue, they are just out of luck? After they paid their money to you, whether you collect it or not? I find that so disrespectful to your customers and if your things are still there able to be purchased they are still your customers.
